Soul Land:The Dragon King's God of Nature

Chapter 98: Chapter 98: The Primordial Divine Dragon Shatters the Ice and Snow Forest!

Everything happened in an instant. One moment, the Star Goddess dominated the battlefield; the next, the Zhou sisters' Martial Souls fused, and both teams were caught in the alternating assaults of starry radiance and icy mist.

The reactions on Wang Dongqi's team were particularly vivid. First, they were frustrated by the Star Goddess's control; then, they were pleased as the Zhou sisters' Fusion Skill took form; and finally, they were shocked as the power clash between Fusion Skills escalated.

"Referee! Referee!" Wang Dongqi shouted in a panic. "Get me out of here!"

"Us too!" Zhao Ya and Dongfang Ningjing joined in, desperate for an escape.

The referee, who had been enthralled by the spectacle of the two Fusion Skills, snapped back to reality at their cries. Though initially displeased by their interruption, he quickly regained focus. In a flash, he dashed over, grabbed Wang Dongqi, and whisked her off the platform.

"Hurry!" Wang Dongqi shouted to Gu Yue's side as she was carried off. "Get out of here while you can!"

Gu Yue's face remained expressionless, while Tang Wulin and Xie Xie looked puzzled by her warning, unaware of the oncoming danger. But before they could react, Zhao Ya and Dongfang Ningjing were also escorted off the stage by the referee.

With the stage cleared, the Zhou sisters' Fusion Skill fully manifested. The sisters themselves had vanished, replaced by a colossal blue tree, crystalline branches shimmering in silver-white light, emanating an intense chill. Within moments, another blue tree sprouted, then another, and another, until a forest of glistening blue trees had overtaken half of the platform, and it showed no signs of stopping.

Fusion Skill: Ice and Snow Forest!

Despite the relentless advance of the Ice and Snow Forest, the Star Goddess remained calm. She glanced back over her shoulder, her lips barely moving as she spoke. "Wulin, Xie Xie, leave the stage. Gu Yue, you're with me."

"Understood!" Tang Wulin and Xie Xie cast a quick glance at the chilling forest before them, their faces showing shock as they obediently jumped off the stage. At that moment, they understood why Wang Dongqi's team had warned them—apparently, the Zhou sisters' Fusion Skill was a devastating, indiscriminate attack.

Gu Yue moved to stand beside the Star Goddess, her expression unreadable as if lost in thought.

On the platform, the assault-type Fusion Skill Ice and Snow Forest seemed to be gaining the upper hand over the control-type Fusion Skill Starfield. The contrast was stark—the platform, once divided equally between the Starfield's silver and the forest's blue, was gradually being consumed by the latter as the Ice and Snow Forest continued its advance.

Down below, Wang Dongqi and her teammates watched eagerly, certain of their victory. But celebrating too early is always a risk in battle, and Jing Shaoyu and his team weren't about to let them claim victory so easily.

On the platform, the Star Goddess smiled faintly, raising her staff as it burst into golden light, enveloping her in its brilliance. In an instant, the golden light morphed into a radiant rainbow hue as a majestic dragon emerged from the glow.

The Primordial Divine Dragon had arrived!

The transformation from Star Goddess to Primordial Divine Dragon was seamless, smooth as silk, a perfect transition.

Upon its appearance, the dragon released a multicolored shockwave, and every blue tree around it shattered like massive icebergs under a tremendous impact, the cracking sounds crisp and satisfying.

Deep within the Ice and Snow Forest, where the Zhou sisters had taken tree form, they could sense the changes in real time. Astonished that Jing Shaoyu could unleash a second Fusion Skill in such a short span, they steeled themselves, mobilizing the forest with heightened intensity. At their command, dozens of blue trees swayed, their branches and leaves transforming into razor-sharp blades and their trunks into piercing spears, all aimed at the Primordial Divine Dragon.

But the dragon remained unfazed. It spread its wings, conjuring twin fiery tornadoes that surged forward, the heat so intense that it left the air parched.

The combined power of Jing Shaoyu and Xu Xiaoyan's new Yuyue Power had heightened their Fusion Skill's strength, giving them a wider range of abilities to wield.

As the fiery tornadoes clashed with the Ice and Snow Forest, a violent elemental storm erupted across the platform. Fire, wind, and ice collided, the blue trees scorched, ice melting into water vapor in a chaotic display of raw power. The fiery tornadoes were relentless, burning everything in their path, incinerating trees and vaporizing the frozen ground.

In the heart of the forest, the Zhou sisters grew frantic. Putting aside the competition, they pushed their abilities to the limit. In an instant, the trees near them surged in size, towering twice as high, their branches and leaves now resembling solid ice. The transformation made the flaming tornadoes seem small by comparison, rendering them ineffective against the forest's new defenses.

But the Primordial Divine Dragon merely smiled, undeterred. It opened its mouth, a rainbow-hued beam forming between its jaws before it fired a stunningly powerful Rainbow Ray that tore through the Ice and Snow Forest, targeting the sisters at its core.

Seeing this, the Zhou sisters commanded the blue trees to shield them. Tree after tree blocked the beam, but it made no difference; each tree evaporated like snow under the scorching sun, melting instantly.

The beam continued its path, dismantling the Ice and Snow Forest piece by piece until only the Zhou sisters' true forms remained, exposed and vulnerable.

The clash of Fusion Skills had reached its peak, and the result was clear.

As the two blue trees dissolved back into Zhou Hanyou and Zhou Tian'er, their faces were pale with exhaustion and disbelief. They had been defeated—outmatched by an opponent who shattered the Fusion Skill they had been so proud of. The reality was hard to accept.

The Primordial Divine Dragon transformed into a swirl of rainbow light, descending slowly. From within the glow, Gu Yue and Xu Xiaoyan supported a visibly tired Jing Shaoyu. He managed a faint smile, feeling the strain of using two powerful Fusion Skills back-to-back. "Whew…can't keep that up for long. Looks like I'll need more training after all."

The three stood on the stage, exuding an aura of champions.

"We won!" Xie Xie cried out from below, grabbing Tang Wulin in an excited hug. "We won! Captain's amazing!"

"Hahaha! Yes! We're the champions!" Tang Wulin joined in, hugging Xie Xie as they jumped up and down together, celebrating their victory.

On the other side of the stage, Wang Dongqi, Zhao Ya, and Dongfang Ningjing exchanged glances, speechless. Finally, Wang Dongqi groaned, "What…just happened?"

"Let's go and comfort Hanyou and Tian'er," Zhao Ya said, her expression somber as she glanced at her defeated teammates. "This must be a hard loss for them."

"Yes," Wang Dongqi sighed, clutching her head as she felt a headache coming on.

Without a doubt, this battle would go down in history as one of the most memorable matches in the Tianhai Federation Tournament, one for the record books.

"That was incredible! Totally worth it!"

"Best match I've seen in years! Three Fusion Skills in one fight? If I hadn't seen it, I'd never believe it!"

"Tell me about it! I keep pinching myself to make sure this isn't a dream!"

"Agreed! But really, is that kid Jing Shaoyu really just a Soul Elder? How did he manage to switch between two Fusion Skills so easily?"

"Hah! Forget that—just imagine the luck he has, getting to use two girls' Fusion Skills like that! Guess that's what it's like to be a prodigy!"

The audience's chatter was animated, but in one of the VIP boxes, an awkward silence filled the air.
