Soul Land:The Dragon King's God of Nature

Chapter 1: Chapter 1: Prologue

A streak of blue-gold light descended from beyond the heavens, catching the attention of several extraordinary beings. A wisp of golden energy quietly broke away, drifting to an unknown destination.

In a mysterious realm, a chaotic entity was restrained by chains stretching out from the depths of the void. Each chain emanated a terrifying aura, as if a single glance could shatter the soul, reducing it to nothingness.

The chaotic entity struggled continuously, unwilling to submit as it strained against the chains. Yet, those chains remained as unyielding as mountains, unmoved by its efforts.

In an unnoticed corner, a glimmer of golden light silently entered the chaotic being's core, then faded away without a trace.

Its agitation grew fiercer, each thrash intensifying in violence until the chains themselves trembled slightly under the strain. Yet, that was all—moments later, the entity suddenly stilled, all movement ceasing, as if lifeless.

The world around was filled with vibrant green, exuding a life-giving energy. Among towering, ancient trees, a gentle breeze danced playfully, like a mischievous child teasing the branches of the old trees.

A faint cough echoed from an unknown source, carrying a trace of frailty. A gentle female voice followed, "Brother Hao, I may need to sleep for a while."

"Third Sister, are you alright? It's all my fault—I let my guard down, allowing that vile creature to slip through and injure you!" A deep male voice responded, filled with pain, regret, and guilt.

"Brother Hao, it's not your fault," the woman's voice reassured him. "Who could have expected it still had the strength to counterattack? Fortunately, I've already merged over halfway with the planet's core, so it hesitated and only managed to wound my essence. I'll be fine after some rest."

"Alright then, rest and recover. Leave everything to me." The man spoke with deep concern, then vowed, "I wish I could completely refine it now! To harm my beloved… it truly courts death!"

"Brother Hao, don't be hasty. Progress step by step. I must sleep now; promise me you won't act recklessly!" Her voice grew softer, fading until it disappeared.

"Hmph!" The man snorted in frustration, his voice simmering with anger. "If not for Third Sister's caution, and the millennia-long plan concerning Xiao San, I'd have fully refined you already, vile creature. How dare you act so brazenly, ignorant of fate!"

"…Ah! Fiend, I'll slay you!"

The man's voice erupted in an enraged roar, then fell silent.

The world returned to quiet. Only the ancient trees continued to sway their branches in the wind, as if mourning a life about to pass away.
