We see 4-year-old Goku running around the house, being chased by his mom.

Tsunade: Goku, get your butt over here. I need to change you. We are having guests tonight.

Goku would only laugh and continue running until Shizune captured him. Shizune would start tickling Goku as this punishment.

Goku: OK, ok, ok. I give up, sister; you win; I'll go with Mom and get change.

Tsunade sees this moment and smiles to hear Goku call Shizune sister and Shizune accepting the role of a big sister. After Goku put on new clothes, he felt a strange feeling and looked around the house, sensing something new for him. At that moment, someone would knock at the door. Shizune opened the door to see it was Jiraiya and the 3rd Hokage.

Shizune: Welcome, please come in, Master Jiraiya and Lord 3rd.

Hiruzen: It's ok, Shizune. You don't have to be so formal with us. I'm not at my office, and I didn't come for Hokage business. We came to celebrate Goku's 4th birthday.

Goku would run up to Hiruzen and hug him; Grandpa, you came. Did you get me a present

Hiruzen: jajajaja, of course, I got you something, but you need to wait until you open it.

Tsunade: I'm sorry, sensei. I don't know why he keeps calling you Grandpa.

Hiruzen: My boy, I'm surprised you detect them, but they are doing their job, and their job is to protect everyone in this room.

Hiruzen would give a quick stare at both Jiraiya and Tsunade. But Tsunade would only have to worry face-on.

Later that night, Shizune took Goku and got him ready for bed. Tsunade Jiraiya and Hiruzen stayed behind and talked after what happened.

Tsunade: I know what you guys will ask me, and the answer is no. I'm not going to force him into the ninja life. I have lost almost everything I can lose him.

Jiraiya: The boy, sooner or later, will start asking to be trained. Even if you don't like it, ninja blood runs in his veins. It will be a simple waste if he just lives a civilian life.

Tsunade: if he ever chooses to be a ninja, I will train him; I will not force him into that life.

Hiruzen: That's enough, Jiraiya; this is up to Tsunade and Goku; whatever decision will have to support them.

Three weeks passed. Tsunade, Shizune, and Goku went out for a walk at the riverside. Tsunade and Goku sat down on the edge of the river to wet their feet, and Shizune was under a tree, reading a book.

Goku: Mom, can I ask you something? I don't want to be mad.

Tsunade would only raise one eyebrow and look down at Goku.

Tsunade: What's wrong, Goku? You know that you can ask me anything.

Goku: Please train me. I want to be as strong as you and your sister. I want to surpass both my great-grandfather and great-uncle. I won't protect you and your sister.

Tsunade would just look at Goku and think about what he said. She knew this day would come but didn't want to be this soon. For a while now, she would watch Goku play fight with his stuffed animals. At first, she thought he was developing an aggressive attitude. But she relaxed a bit when she saw him hugging his toy after fighting with them.

Tsunade: Goku, are you sure about this? Once we start, there's no going back.

Goku: I'm sure, Mom, I want to be a ninja, especially a ninja of the leaf, just like you were at once.

Tsunade: Ok, Goku will start your training in two days; let me speak with Shizune and Jiraiya to develop a training plan.

Goku jumped on his mother's lap and hugged her. Shizune heard this and smiled that she would help with Goku's training. Tsunade responded to Goku's hug as she wrapped her arms around him and jumped into the river with him. They would come up from the surface laughing while Tsunade still hugging him and giving him kisses all over his face.

Jiraiya: So you finally decided to train your mama's boy.

Goku: Shut up, you prevent. I am not a mama's boy.

Tsunade: What did you say? No matter how old you get, you will always be my baby boy.

And with that, two days passed, and Goku's training began. Tsunade would have him start reading books and scrolls about chakra control.

Tsunade: after you are done, Shizune will teach you how to bring out your chakra and control it, and when you are done mastering that, you'll move on to medical Ninjutsu. Jiraiya will come once in a while to help you also when he's not busy on his missions.

Time skipped Four years

In those last four years, an eight-year-old Goku kept up with his training. Shizune showed him how to control his chakra, and now he can walk on trees and water. It took him a while to control his chakra due to Shizune and Tsunade figuring out he had a large amount of chakra. After mastering his control, Goku moved on to the basics of Medical Ninjutsu. Jiraiya would stop by and bring Goku scrolls that belong to the first and second Hokages from the Leaf Village. Jiraiya would try to teach Goku the Rasengan, but Tsunade would stop Jiraiya telling him that his still too young to learn a Jutsu of that level.

Now we see an eight-year-old Goku walking around the town looking to buy a gift for his mother's birthday. Goku walked into a flower shop and bought a white flower base with different designs. Goku would hurry home and prepare his gift. Once his mom arrived home from a job at the clinic, Goku would run up to her, hugging her and wishing her a happy birthday.

Jiraiya: I see you are still a mama's boy.

Goku: I'm not a mama's boy, you old super pervert.

Jiraiya: How often do I have to tell you to stop calling me that?

Shizune: Welcome home Lady Tsunade. The food is almost ready.

After dinner, Goku would run to his room and get the gift he had prepared for his mother.

Goku: Mom, I got you a gift from the base with brown flowers.

Goku: When I saw them, they reminded me of your eye color.

Jiraiya: Wait, this is the flower seeds I gave you last time I came. How could you grow when so fast? They take at least a year to bloom.

Tsunade: Goku, did you buy these flowers?

Goku: No, I grew them myself.

Tsunade: Kakarot, don't you lie to me. You know how much I hate lies.

Goku: I'm not lying; I'm telling you the truth. Just a moment and I'll show you.

Goku would run to his room, grab the remaining seeds he was, and would return to where everyone was, and ask them to follow him outside. Goku would quickly dig a small hole and put one seed in it, then cover it up with the dirk, and finally, he would place his hand over it and transfer some of his chakras. What happened next shocked everyone. A small plant started to rise from the ground. Tsunade quickly realized what was going on and grabbed Goku by his hand without realizing how hard she was squeezing his arm.

Goku: Mom, you're hurting me, my arm, please.

Tsunade would still be in shock, looking at the ground, not paying attention to what Goku was saying.

Goku: MOM!!!!!!!! Please, I, you hurt my arm. Please let me go. I'm sorry if I did something to make you angry I won't do it again.

Tsunade would finally hear Goku's cry and see that he has tears running down his face, and see she's hurting his arm. Tsunade would let go after realizing she was the one who made Goku cry.

Shizune would go to Goku and use her Medical Ninjutsu on his arm.

Shizune: Lady Tsunade, he just has a minor fracture on his arm.

Tsunade would try to see if Goku was ok, but Goku, out of fear, would jump back and hide behind Shizune. Tsunade froze for a moment, knowing her son was afraid of her and wouldn't aloud her to come near him. At that moment, Goku would run to his room and lie down on his bed in a fetal position.

Jiraiya: Tsunade go and check on Goku; he needs you. We'll talk about what happened tomorrow morning.

Tsunade would go and see Goku. She would knock at his door, but no one would answer. She would enter and lay down next to him.

Goku: I'm sorry, Mom. I didn't mean to make you angry I just wanted to make you smile.

Tsunade: No, Goku, you don't have to apologize. I'm the one who should apologize to you Goku. I didn't know what I was doing, and I accidentally hurt you. Please forgive me. I promise I won't ever hurt again.

Tsunade and Goku would hug each other, and they would fall asleep holding each other in their arms.

The following morning we find everyone in the family room as Goku is getting ready to explain how he can make a plan to grow using his chakra.

Tsunade: Ok, Goku tell us how you discovered you could grow plants.

Goku: Well, it started about a month ago. I was bored and had no training left. You and your sister had left to help the town's chief wife, chief wife, with her injury. I was done reading the scroll you left me, so I went into your office and looked for something new to read, and I found two scrolls that caught my interest. One spoke about how great grandfather would use something called Wood Release, and the other was about sealing jutsus, especially one called The Four Limbs Weighting Seal. This technique is performed by placing prayer beads around the wrists and ankles of the target and then pressing the palm against the target's chest. This increases the weight of the beads exponentially, weighing down the target's limbs. It can be used for training. As the target of this Jutsu continues to train, the prayer beads change color from White to Blue to Green to Yellow and finally to Red. Once red, this signifies that the training is complete and I can change the weight on the prayer beads again. I wanted to speak with all of you to see if I could use this seal as part of my training. But I forgot about it when I realized I would do a Jutsu that my great-grandfather could use.

Jiraiya: I told you hime that this boy is special. He just does that jutsus, just by reading on a scroll. Goku, I would recommend using those sealing beads as part of your training.

Tsunade: Tell me Goku have you shown anyone or told any about you using the Wood Release?

Goku: No. I only used it in my room and haven't told anyone either.

Tsunade: Good, you should never let anyone know about that jutsu. It's dangerous and you can be in danger if bad people find out you can use it. I'll ask Hiruzen sensei to send us all of my grandfather's scrolls. We will train in secret. But you need to promise me that you won't use it unless you have permission from me. Do I make myself clear?

Goku: Yes, ma'am.

Final Time Skip 5 years

We see a 13-year-old Goku getting his things ready to seal them into a scroll. This is the day he has been waiting for a long time now. Goku was finally going to go to the village Hidden in the Leaves to become a ninja.

Shizune: Do you have everything ready for your trip Goku?

Goku: Yes, sister I have everything packed on some scrolls.

Tsunade: When I see that white-haired baster I'm going to kill him. He was supposed to escort my Goku to the village. That idiot is probably doing his perverted research and forgot to come.

Goku: Don't worry Mom I can make it on my own. The village is not that far from here.

Tsunade: Remember Goku we won't be there with you until around the final day of the Chinn exams. So in those days do not show your full power until the Chinn exams, no Jutsu above A class, and no Wood Release.

Goku: Mom, can I reveal that I belong to the Saiyan on the final day of the Chinn exams?

Tsunade: I'll leave that up to your judgment but I don't want you saying you're a Senju also, not until we arrive.

Goku: I understand.

Goku would hug his sister Shizune, and then he would hug Tsunade and kiss her on the cheek. As soon as Goku would let go of the hug, he would walk away but couldn't. Tsunade still was hugging him, not wanting to let go.

Goku: Mom, I can't breathe, and I need to go.

Tsunade: No just a moment longer, please. I don't want you to go. Please stay and I'll talk to Sensei and let him know you need one more year.

Goku: Mom I can't breathe. You told Gramps that you'd let me go when I turned 13 years old.

Shizune would have to force Tsunade to let Goku go.

Shizune: Lady Tsunade Goku needs to go. He is already running late, and we need to head out as well. Besides, we'll see Goku again in a couple of months.

Tsunade: But he's my baby. I can't just let him go by himself. What if the next time I see him, he has black clothing, an earring on his left ear, and he develops hatred towards humanity?

Goku and Shizune would hear what Tsunade said and they would get an anime sweat drop on their heads.

Goku: I promise you I won't have black clothes or develop hatred towards humanity.

Tsunade: Don't forget the earrings.

Goku: Well, look at the time I need to be heading out. Bye, Shizune and Mom. See you guys in a couple of months.

Tsunade: Hey, you brat you better not have an earring next time I see you. Shizune let's go we also have a long road ahead. It's going to be long, tedious, and quiet for the next six months. Please watch over yourself Goku.
