Sol Vestitor: New Age of God

Ashura looked at Sol in confusion as they walked together, he did not seem right, "Something sinister must be happening in his mind," Ashura's intuition as an Heir was on the spot.

"Hi, Sol, why are we having a sparring session so suddenly?" He asked the Heir Killer suspiciously.

Sol grinned and before he opened his mouth, "Nothing really. By the way, have you ever hear rumors about me?" a glint could be seen in his eyes.

They were talking while going to one of Temple of Mars's training ground, Ashura who heard the question had his hairs stand on ends.

"HAHAHAHA, I don't know what you are talking about, I'm a bit busy these days" He laughed awkwardly, cold sweat starts to come from his back.

"It was nothing much, to be honest, they just call me an asshole who likes to take young creaturs against their will and something about marrying a snake girl," Sol's smile grew sinister.

"Oh... We are here, this is our training ground, it is quite big right?" the heir of Mars tried to change the topic when they finally reach the training ground.

There is a lot of arenas and other training facility, people from the military could be seen there, they were doing some drill or sparring.

Without waiting for his reply, Ashura went to an officer in charge of managing the place, with a few words he clears an arena for their sparring.

The sparring was simple, they would fight unarmed, if one of them unable to continue the fight, give up, or get out of the arena then the sparring would end in his loss.

People started to gather around the arena, they were interested in the fight as one of them was the top Heir of Temple of Mars while the other was the notorious Heir Killer, Sol's reputation was worst between people in the temple of Mars as they were the source of the rumors.

When the sparring started, the heir of Mars had himself in a kickboxing stance, both arms raised and palms closed into fists.

On the other hand, Sol had only raised both his arm, that was the difference between someone trained in martial arts, and those only learned from experience.

Sol get into offensive from the beginning, he directly sent a kick toward the heir's face, it was so fast and strong that they could hear a booming sound from the movement.

Asura leaned back slightly to dodge without taking a step back, his intuition was tingling in danger, "Fuck! This isn't sparring, he tried to beat me up!"

Even if he was shocked by the man's speed and power which surprisingly faster and stronger than his own, Ashura's training quickly kicks in and his body moves in a counterattack.

His movement was very efficient, he directly came closer with half a step and sent jabs toward Sol's face.

Sol was still in the middle of his movement and hadn't recovered from it, but his exceptional reflex allows him to defend against the heir.

He raised both arms in front of his face in a cross, it stoped the punch but send him back a few steps, Sol could feel the impact travel from his arms to his body.

It was the heir's ability, when he uses a spear, it could pierce anything as long as the spear good enough, but even without a spear his ability could make his other attack pierce the enemy.

Feeling the impact pierce through his body, Sol borrows it to gain some distance as the heir did not let him off with a single punch.

The heir of Mars a few more punch after Sol, but hit the air instead as he moves backward, the heir did it on purpose though.

The impact of his punches pierced through the air and hit Sol's defenseless body, Sol didn't expect the hit coming.

Sol got pushed to the edge of the arena as he received a surprise attack, "Fuck, he can attack through the air, this is cheating!" Sol cursed.

He felt cheated as this fight was supposed to him beating the heir for his wrongdoing, not the other way around.

If Sol still had his scale armor then he could dismiss the heirs ranged attack but without it, the punch through the air was effective on him.

When he saw another wave of attack coming, Sol was ready for it, he dodged the invisible projectile with ease as he was faster than his opponent.

Sol tried to get closer but the heir kept his distance from him with his footwork, Sol hardly gets closer to the man.

While keeping his distance Ashura threw his fastest jab, he did not put much strength in it as it hardly could hit Sol when he is ready for it.

When he knew it was useless to keep his distance, Ashura gets close to Sol, he keeps throwing punches to keep the man busy.

When he got closer, the heir tackles Sol to the ground, mounting the unsuspecting man, with himself at advantage, Ashura threw punches after punches.

Sol tried his best to parry each blow, He was inexperienced in a ground fight, if he had his knife then he could just hit his enemy somewhere vital but without it, he needs to find a way to free himself.

"Ugh... physically in stronger than him but I'm actually weaker than him" he lamented in reflection.

Sol had thought that he could beat others with his stronger body but now he learned the harsh truth, he was not as strong as he thinks he was.

The only way he could beat the heir was to use his advantage as best as he can, so Sol did the unexpected.

He received a punch to the face without defending and punch the heir on his face with all his might, it sent the man stumbling back while his ear rung in dizziness.

"It's time for payback!" he picked himself up and smiled at the heir who had to move back a few steps.

The heir's eyes grow big as his opponent rush at him, he could feel something sinister coming.

Sol could not win a fight of finest as his opponent was stronger in fighting technique so it was a mistake for him to fight him with technique as well.

Sol dodges any attack to his vitals but he tank any other blow in exchange to hit the heir, the fight just changes from a high-level fight into a brute level fight.

Sol could feel his body aching but the heir had it worse, Sol had better speed and recovery ability so, in the long run, he would lose.

In fact, Ashura had tried to surrender a few times but every time he opened his mouth, he would get a punch in the face, Sol would not let him surrender.

"Sol, let's..." he tried to strop the fight but another punch comes his way so he had no other choice but dodge.

"Fuck! This man really has a grudge with me!" Ashura cried in his heart.

He tried to run out of the arena but Sol also did not let him run, where ever he turned to, Sol would be there blocking his escape.

Ashura had given up on the offensive and tried his best to defend as Sol would exchange a blow for another blow.

But unlucky for him, he could not dodge forever, he would get eventually, at the end of the sparring, or more appropriate to call bullying, Ashura was bloody on the ground while Sol was smiling at him, "that was a good sparring, I learned a lot from it" he said.

"Fuck! You learned a lot my ass! You just want to beat me up for revenge!" Ashura lamented in his heart, he wanted to cry.

Sol could hear people started to whisper to each other about him being merciless and all, that he like to bully others.

It made him gloomy, he did not feel any satisfaction from his revenge so he decided to take another revenge at the heir.

"Sorry everyone for this unsightly fight! I actually don't want to be heavy-handed, but when I heard that Ashura here wanted to court my little girl, I could not help it!" he announced to everyone.

Ashura had his eyes grow bigger, "Fuck! That was not true, it's a baseless accusation!" he tried to defend himself but people just would not listen.

Sol left the temple of Mars in a happy mood as he had let Ashura eat his own medicine, even though he felt bad for the man but when he remembered what he had gone through he changes his mind.

By the end of the day, people around the city had heard that Ashura an heir of Mars was a pedophile and got beaten up by the heir killer.

But there is also another rumor about it, it said that Sol the heir killer was in love with his own daughter so he beat up Ashura.

When Sol heard about it he wanted to cry, "Fuck! What did I do wrong?"
