Sol Vestitor: New Age of God

Sol looked at the mother wolf it horror, it was way stronger than he had predicted, he had thought it's going to be strong but not this overpowering.

He has five more live before Nerodia interfere, even though Moon was the one with a grudge, Sol did not want to let her down, he needed to bridge the power gap somehow.

Moon's injuries were worse than Sol as she didn't have his scale armor, even if it did not really matter much in this level of a fight, it still helps him get some endurance, he could not heal instantly so he needs to minimize his injuries or it would be useless to have 6 vials of Moon's blood.

"Tsk, my armor would be destroyed at this rate" Sol lamented his lost as the armor materials were rare, unless he could convince Nerodia to give him some scales then he would not be able to remake his armor.

When the female alpha attacks him once more, Sol already prepared for its attack, he had thrown a bottle at its face in advance.

The mother wolf was not stupid, it had seen how much agony its last mate suffer from such a bottle, so it tried to send it flying away with a backhand slap.

It had tried to be gentle but the little contact made the bottle to explode in the brilliance of light, what Sol had thrown was not his usual sulfuric acid bottle but his homemade flashbang bottle.

Sol knew that he could not beat it unless he has some surprise so he prepared that bottle as the mother wolf never saw such a thing before, it was also a bit of a gamble on his part as that it would not be effective if the female alpha had dodged the bottle instead of trying to send it away.

As a wolf, the mother wolf had extra sensitive eyes as it usually hunts in the night and the stronger and faster a creature is the more sensitive its sense is.

The flashbang had blinded the alpha wolf, but it had continued to attack Sol even if its eyes were in pain, its instinct and other sense such as hearing and smell were strong enough to pinpoint Sol's location.

Sol had expected this as he did not want to get caught unprepared again, he dodges the wolf's attack with ease as, without its eyes, its attack had become a bit sluggish and more predictable.

Sol dodge and twice before counter-attacking, he dodges both of its arms then cut at its side, he hurriedly jumps back because it will surely know his exact location if he did not.

Sol keeps using this chance to hit the wolf mother, even its wound heal in a matter of seconds, he still did it in order to sharpen his knife.

It becomes a battle of prediction as Sol needs to move in advance and the female alpha needs to move without looking.

Sol needed to do some variation in his attacking pattern and timing as his enemy would get used to his pattern, he had some advantage but the wolf mother only needed one hit to knock him down while he needs an uncountable hit to take it down.

While Sol is a deadlock with the blinded wolf, Moon still struggling to get up, her injuries were quite crippling so she needs some more time to get on her two feet.

A few opportunistic wolves tried to attack her when she is down but Nerodia had stoped them with her Magical eyes, she had become a friend with Moon so she was not willing to let her get mobbed by the wolves.

It has been almost a minute after the wolf got blinded by Sol, it started to regain its vision, Sol was not going to let it happen, he opened one bottle of sulfuric acid and splash its content in the wolf face after he dodges a lunge from the alpha wolf.

The mother wolf screams in pain as Sol continues to cut at it, He tried to aim for its tendons as to cripple its arm and foot.

"fuck! Its regeneration is over the roof!" Sol lamented as the wound he done to its tendon was healed in seconds, unless he can cut off the tendon in one cut, it will be able to heal it.

Sol's knife almost sharp enough to cripple its arm but the mother wolf recovered faster from the sulfuric acid burn than the flashbang light.

It sends Sol flying back, he tumbles a few dozen meters on the snow before stopping, that hit gave him a deep wound on his side and shredded his armor, he hurriedly drank another vial because the wolf mother already into him.

"Four live left!" Sol muttered, he hoped that he could find some chance to hit the wolf as his knife was already sharp enough to deal real damage to it.

The mother wolf appeared at his side trying to claw at his head, Sol dodge in advance and sent his knife at the outstretched arm only to miss as the wolf alpha had also predicted his move.

The mother wolf continued its attack but Moon suddenly cut in their fight, she had recovered enough to join the fight.

With the alpha wolf attention get attracted by Moon, Sol cut at its left foot tendon in one slash, crippling its movement, but he paid dearly for it as the wolf sent its tail like a whip at his right arm.

Sol take a few steps back to drink another vial as his arm was broken by the hit, he could let it be as it was not fatal but the bleeding would weaken him so he would rather use the vial.

"three lives to go! We can do this" he cheered himself.

Out of his expectation, the mother wolf kicks Moon away and starts to get on all four, its body morph into a four-meter tall wolf, healing all of its injuries.

"Fuck! It really is a boss fight! It even has a final form!" Sol cursed at his bad luck.
