Sol Vestitor: New Age of God

Chapter 163: Pluto

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Space itself shook as Atlas continued to barrage at Pluto with his fist, crack appeared on the space, but it would heal within seconds.

Thanatos appeared beside Pluto like a phantom. He was carrying a giant scythe and about to strike the God of the underworld.

The man tried to block with the power of the underworld just like what he did with Atlas's attack, but the scythe was not affected, it passed through the domain like it was not there.

Pluto hurriedly summoned his bident, it was made of some kind of black metal that absorbs light, he expertly moved it to block the incoming scythe.

Thanatos got pushed back, but he just passed out of reality and reappeared beside Pluto once more. The scythe kept coming for him.

"Surprised, huh? My armament was created especially to counter your power, you could never stop me!" the man gloated.

Pluto's mind was divided between blocking Atlas's attack and the man's attack; both of them were not weak, and he did not have any chance to counterattack.

"Ack..." screams could be heard as the gods below him got slaughtered but invisible blades.

"Keres!!!" The god of the underworld realized the source of these attacks.

Keres had disappeared from the place she was standing at, and the lesser and minor gods started dying left and right.

Different from her brother's attack, everyone she killed was cut to pieces and blood was flying everywhere. It dyed the wall red.

The invisible blade was not making any sound, it was not real and they could not block it, its victim could not sense it before it cut them.

Even if the gods lock themselves inside a barrier, they would still be cut by the blade while leaving their barrier intact.

"Help! Help!" even the gods despaired by the inevitable death that came to reap their life.

Pluto was powerless to save them, he had his hand full to block both Atlas and Thanatos, both of their attacks never weakened.

"This can't go on!" Pluto thought. The underworld suddenly shook and everything turned grey-scale.

Everyone stopped moving but the god of the underworld himself, not even the air was flowing, Pluto had stopped the world.

He looked at Atlas, who was stopped in the middle of trying to punch him, then turned to the frozen Thanatos.

"Do you think I don't have an ace card?" he said to the unmoving man before turning to the Titan.

Pluto was about to take care of the Titan first, as he actually had the biggest threat among the three.

He was about to move closer to the titan when he sensed death was coming for him. With a quick move, he raised his bident to his right.

Thanatos phased into existence and his scythe was only an inch away from him, if not for him blocking the scythe with his bident then it would have cut his head.

"Do you think I don't know about your ace?" the man asked back.

Pluto spun his bident and sent the man flying away with his strength, "So what if you can move? Do you think you can beat me alone?" Pluto jeered at him.

The man passed out of reality once more before appearing behind Pluto. His scythe was already touching the God of the underworld's neck.

With a single yank, it beheaded him, but to the personification of death's surprise, he reaped nothing from the kill.

The body melted into nothing as it was just an illusion; the man looked around to find his enemy, to find nothing.

Shrill!!! A piercing sound could be heard as two pointy objects appeared from the man's chest. It was Pluto's bident.

The God of the underworld had appeared behind the personification of death and pierce it with his weapon.

"You like a surprise attack, right? How is it to be on the receiving end?" he teased.

The personification of death once again passed out of reality and appeared beside Pluto. He tried to hit the God only to be swatted aside.

"It's useless, you can't beat me alone!" Pluto declared.

The man smiled, "who said I'm alone?" he asked as an invisible blade suddenly cut at Pluto.

The God tried to block it but the blade just passed through his weapon; it cut at his arm and blood was flying everywhere as it was cut off.

Pluto backed off as he held the stump of his arm. He stopped the bleeding with some kind of black energy and summoned his bident once more in his other arm.

"Keres!?" Pluto was shocked that two people could overcome his power over the world and attack him even in the paused mode.

The woman's figure finally appeared beside her brother to hold him. She tried to close the wounds on the man's chest with her hand.

"Don't forget about me!!!" a booming voice appeared behind the God of the underworld and a giant fist smashed him from the back. It sent him crashing to the ground.

Atlas has somehow brute-forced his way to move even under the suppression of the world. His body was bloody, but it already showed signs of healing.

The grey world was cracked everywhere. The titan moved as it tried to restrain him, only to break under his strength.

Pluto was kneeling in a crater, his clothes were shredded and he was covered in injuries, he was wobbly as he tried to get up.

"Give up Pluto! You can't win against the three of us! Just accept your fate!" Atlas told him.

"Do you think this is the first time I'm outnumbered? I have always been outnumbered all my life! Jupiter and Neptune always gang up against me, but look at me! Not even both of them could conquer me!" the God of the underworld roared.

Black clouds of energy appeared on his body. It formed an armor and a giant clawed arm replaced his missing arm.

The energy flowed to the bident, and it grew bigger. The trio could sense ominous energy from it.

"As long as I don't give up, I will never lose!!!" he declared.

"Stop your big talk!" Thanatos chastised him as he conjured another scythe on his other arm. He appeared beside the armored God and attacked with both of the scythes.

Pluto raised his clawed arm and blocked the attack single-handedly. He raised his bident and about to pierce the man, but an invisible blade attacked him.

Kares had disappeared once more and her blades were attacking him continuously. It could only chip at his black armor but it would repair itself just a moment later.

He was handling both God just fine, but the titan did not let them be, He used both of his palms and clapped at him from both sides.

Pluto could barely disengage from the two Gods and dodge the Titan's attack. He would not risk blocking such an overwhelming attack.

Lucky for him, all the three of them were a melee fighter. It made it hard for all the three of them to attack at the same time.

He was pushed back to the ground as he slammed it with his clawed arm. The moment his hand slammed it, spikes of black energy appeared out of the ground, it impaled upward; it raised hundreds of meters that it could even reach the flying Thanatos.

Both Thanatos and Keres dodged it easily, but dozens of it impaled the Titan as its Giant body was too big to dodge the attack.

But to his surprise, the spike could not even pierce his flesh. The Titan's body was tougher than he expected.

The fight continues as Pluto kept getting pressured; he got less and less room to move as Thanatos's and Keres's teamwork was too good. He ran out of tricks.

Pluto's black armor showed signs of breaking and blood dyed it red. The God of the underworld could hold on no more.

"Cease your struggle, Pluto! Fate has come to take your life!" Thanatos announced. They stopped attacking as Pluto was gasping for breath inside a crater.

"Fate has come indeed," he grinned at them.

"But you made one mistake! She had come not to take my life but to take yours!" Pluto corrected him.

An ominous aura appears in the grey-scale world and suddenly the trio falls to their knees, they cough up black blood and their blood vessels become visible as they expand and pulse.

A woman figure appeared beside Pluto as she tried to help him up, "Are you alright, Sir? I'm sorry that I took so long," she apologized.

"It's alright Atropos, you come just right in time, the fight just about to begin," Pluto said as the grey-scale world returned to normal and color returned to the world.

Pluto's black armor disappeared as well, revealing the God of the underworld body that had returned to perfect condition.

"Now, who is up for a second round?" he raised both hands in a challenge to the trio as he grinned at them.
