Sol Vestitor: New Age of God

Chapter 106: Scolded

When Sol reaches his house up the mountain, Sol wanted to directly leave to avoid explaining what happen to Nerodia but he could not just drop Tanya over in her current condition.

It might cause others to misunderstood that he made her like that and run away to escape his responsibility.

"Ughh... she will find out sooner or later that I offend Vulcan, it's better that I come out clear now," he concluded.

As a precaution, Sol conjured a full set of ice armor so she would not be able to use the magical eye on him, and in case she hit him, he would not be hurt by it.

The girls went out of the house when they heard him coming back, they happily welcome him and Tanya back.

The girls were quite close with the heir of Venus, they had spent time together on their journey, through life and death together, through fun and trouble.

Seeing someone new after two months of isolation also play part in their happiness, finally, there is someone they can share a new story with.

But the happy atmosphere was destroyed in seconds when they realize the heir's condition, she was unresponsive like a vegetable.

Sol hurriedly explained the situation before anyone taking a wrong conclusion, his experience from being wrongly accused teach him to clear any misunderstanding before it was created.

Once the misunderstanding was created, it would be very hard for him to clear his name, even though others believe him, they would still have doubts in their heart.

"When I found her, She already like this, even worse," He explained, "She had been tortured by people from the temple of Vulcan, it was heartbreaking to found her in such a condition."

Sol did not explain in detail as there was no need for such a thing, Nerva was there listening and he did not want her to develop some trauma from his explanation.

The people from the temple of Vulcan really inhumane, they torture a little girl without holding back, she was full of blood and missing a lot of body part.

He did not want to imagine how much pain she needs to feel from all the torture, it was only been a day but she already got reduced to such a state.

If he knew they would torture her, Sol would have directly go to save her once Blacky got to the mountain, but he could not turn back the time, the only thing he could do was to help her recover,

"You girls, take care of her, I will go back to the city, there is still some business I need to do there," Sol said hurriedly before Nerodia question him about things that happened in the city.

He was about to run back to the city when someone holds his shoulder, normally he would be able to get away from such a hold as his physical ability was exceptional, but he could not free himself from the arm.

"What is the hurry, Sol? Are you hiding something?" Nerodia's cold voice could be heard behind him, "I have a lot of questions to ask you you know?"

Sol awkwardly face her and asked while defending himself, "what is it? I was in a hurry because people are leaving the city and I want to make sure that nothing went wrong."

"I am wondering, how did you take care of the Demigod from the pantheon of red smelter," She said with a piercing glare.

"AH?! Did I say that I took care of them?" he tried to feign ignorance.

"How else that people in the town could leave the city? Do you think they would let their laborer go?" She retorted.

"Ahahahaha, they were quite weak, as you know my power counter their's," he laughed awkwardly.

"If they are weak then what was that huge power that could be sense even here up in the mountain?" Her glare grew even sharper.

The power of course belonged to the God, Vulcan descends with his incarnation into the mortal realm, even though it was just a casual incarnation, the power it exudes was so strong that it reaches far away.

Sol's face froze, "Well, I somehow met Vulcan after I chase on Demigod into their pantheon," Sol finally confessed.

"You did what?!" the snake girl was so shocked that She loses her composure.

"I kill the Demigod so he let me off, it's ok," He tried to play it down to appease the angry girl.

"It's ok your ass!!! Do you think a God would let you go after you kill one of his underlings right in front of him? We are talking about Vulcan here! Even the most big-hearted God would not let it go!"

Nerodia starts to massage her head to nurse her headache, "How did it end?" She asked to see how was the God's reaction.

"Well, he let me go but I better avoid him in the future as he should have a grudge against me" Sol explained.

"Is that all?" Nerodia was still suspicious about it.

"And he cursed me I think," Sol added, she explained about what happened after their meeting, how he could not use any metal tools.

"Ugh... luckily you offend Vulcan, his curse was not really a problem for Demigod,"

"If it was Other Gods then your life would be way harder, imagine if you offend Diana the Goddess of the hunt, you would be hunted by anyone who saw you!" she grumbled.

"Imagine you offend Jupiter, you might end up like Atlas you know? Being punished to hold up the sky for eternity was not fun," she keeps lecturing him

"I'm sorry ok? I did not know that he would come, I thought I could just kill them all, how should I know that he would come?" He defends himself.

"Are you kidding me? You just attacked his people and his pantheon, of course, he would be angry" She scolds him.

"what's done is done, there is nothing we could do to change the past," Sol said, " I will be going then, I need to get back to the city."

Sol was trying to get away, he had enough lecturing and trying to run away from the angry girl.

"You seem to be In a hurry, net me help you then," She said as her foot transformed into a giant snake tail.

It picked him up with a single motion and threw him like a bullet on the mountain, if the way were clear then it would be possible for him to reach the bottom from the throw.

Sol crashed through a lot of trees and snow, Nerodia did not hold back her power, luckily Sol was using his ice Armor, he was bruised all over but nothing too serious.

"Lucky! She let me go," Sol was happy that she threw him away, with that he could get away from her lecturing.

A little bruise all over was easy for him to cure with his healing dome ability, it could even heal missing limbs, not to mention bruise.

"Not I need to get back to the city," Sol muttered, he walks down normally to reach his destination.

Sol could actually reach the city way sooner if he used the limit breakability but he did not want to be weakened again.

He also did not want t use the ability to often, the ability might bring him trouble rather than helping him.

When Sol reaches the city, it has already been abandoned, no one wants to stay behind in the city, even though the bad guys were taken care of, they would still need evacuate.

A city without Demigod would be a bad thing, if a wild creature Demigod decides to attack the city then they would be powerless against it.

A group of Heir probably could defend against one Demigod but there would be a heavy casualty.

The heir was leaving the city to join other Pantheon in another city so normal people could only follow them away.

"Let's visit Minerva first then, I hope she would show up," Sol muttered.

Normally, the Goddess would only show up when Nerva went along, but today's occurrence so she should have heard about it.

Minerva would surely meet him, She would be concerned that Sol would bring trouble to her heir.

Sol knocked at the temple gate before he went in, in the Temple he could see Minerva was waiting for him.

Rather than her usually happy face that was stuffed with sweats, the Goddes looked seriously at him, she was really waiting for him.

"What took you so long? Quickly come here, I have a lot to say," She command.

He obediently follows the Goddess's instruction, now that he offends Vulcan, it would be best if he could get the Goddess' backing.

"You can't stay away from trouble, can't you? I should warn you that you should not attract too much hate or it would impact Nerva too," She scolds him.

"Fuck, I got scolded everywhere!" Sol lamented.
