So I'm John Lawrence's son

Chapter 19: Chapter 19"Cobra-Kai

Jack's car stopped in front of the Cobra Kai dojo. Jack looked at the faded sign with the snake logo and felt a shiver run down his spine. This was where his father taught, the man he had never met, the man who had caused him so much pain and confusion.

Miguel opened the door to the dojo, and Jack entered hesitantly. The space was modest, with a worn mat in the center and a few punching bags hanging on the sides. A group of students were practicing karate moves under the watchful eye of Johnny Lawrence.

Jack watched Johnny for a moment. He was older than in the photo his mother had given him, with gray hair and wrinkles on his face, but he still had the same imposing posture and intense gaze. Jack felt a mixture of curiosity and apprehension.

— Hey, sensei! — Miguel called, interrupting the training. — This is Jack, he wanted to see the dojo.

Johnny Lawrence approached, looking curious.

"Jack?" he asked hoarsely. "What an interesting name."

— Yeah, my name is Jack Sullivan. — Jack replied, with a half smile.

Johnny Lawrence frowned, as if trying to remember something.

—Sullivan? — he repeated thoughtfully. —

Something about the boy's last name and appearance seemed familiar. He looked a lot like Roby, the same build, just a few inches taller, the same intense gaze. And Sullivan... Where did he know that last name from? A vague, distant memory came to him, a woman with dark hair and blue eyes, mentioning something about a Sullivan. But the memory was hazy, like a dream that fades away upon waking.

Jack noticed Johnny's hesitation, the way his eyes narrowed in concentration. He knew the Sullivan name was a clue, a connection to the past that Johnny might not be ready to acknowledge.

"Okay," Jack said with a shrug. "I just wanted to check out the dojo."

- Feel free. — said Johnny Lawrence, with a gesture of welcome. — You can train with us if you want.

Jack nodded, grateful for the opportunity. He joined the other students, following Johnny Lawrence's instructions. The training was intense and challenging, but Jack felt at ease. He had a natural talent for fighting, and his movements were quick and precise.

During training, Jack watched Johnny Lawrence closely. He wanted to understand who his father was, how he thought, how he acted. He wanted to know if there was anything in common between them, if there was any chance of building a relationship.

At the end of training, Jack approached Johnny Lawrence.

— Thanks for the training, sensei. — Jack said, with a sincere smile.

— You're welcome, kid. — Johnny Lawrence replied, patting Jack on the back. — You've got talent.

Jack nodded, feeling a pang of pride. He didn't know if Johnny Lawrence would ever recognize him as his son, but at that moment, he felt connected to him somehow.

His father might not have been as much of a jerk as he thought he was, but it was still too early to be thinking about all that.
