So I'm John Lawrence's son

Chapter 11: chapter 11"pool

A few days later, West Valley High School would welcome a new student: Miguel Diaz. Jack had no idea who he was or that he had any connection to his father. In fact, Jack wasn't even focusing on finding Johnny Lawrence anymore. His life at school had become quite good—he had friends, was respected, and even admired by some.

He helped anyone in need, whether it was carrying books to the library or cleaning the classroom floor when no one else would. He liked the school vibe, the feeling of belonging to something bigger. Many girls had crushes on him, but he never paid them any attention. He was kind, but he kept his distance, which only increased the allure around him.

Moon, Sam's friend, was one of the girls who was most interested in Jack. She always asked about him, trying to find out more about the mysterious boy.

— Sam, you know Jack, right? — Moon asked, during lunch.

— A little. — Sam answered, with a half smile.

— He's so... different. — Moon said, with a sigh. — Do you have his number? " She asked with excitement in her voice. "

No. — Sam answered, shrugging. — He's not the type to share these things.

Moon was disappointed, but Sam couldn't help it. She didn't know much about Jack herself, but something about him intrigued her. He was kind, protective, and always helped others, but he kept a certain distance. It made Sam's heart swell with something she had never felt before.

Sam decided to invite Jack to a pool party at her house. She was curious to know more about him and also wanted to please Moon.

"Hey, Jack," Sam called out, meeting him in the hallway after school.

"Hi," Jack replied with a half smile.

"I'm having a pool party at my house this weekend. Do you want to come?" Sam asked, trying to sound casual.

"Pool party?" Jack repeated, raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah. It'll be fun," Sam said with a smile.

"Okay. I'll come." Jack replied with a nod.

Sam smiled, feeling a twinge of excitement. She would finally have the chance to find out more about Jack.

The pool party at Sam's house was in full swing. The music was loud, and the atmosphere was fun and relaxed. Jack arrived a little late, but he quickly caught everyone's attention when he took off his shirt before getting into the pool. His body was impressive—toned, ripped, and covered in scars that told stories no one knew about.

The girls couldn't take their eyes off Jack. He was the center of attention, even without wanting to be.

— Wow, have you seen his body? — A girl whispered to her friend.

— He's like... perfect. — Her friend replied, her eyes wide.

— I didn't know he was like that. — Another girl added, biting her lip.

Moon was among them, but she didn't need to whisper. She was completely fascinated by Jack.

"He's amazing," Moon said, with a dreamy smile. "I need to get to know him better."

Moon couldn't stop looking at Jack. There was something about him that drew her in a way she couldn't explain. He was unlike any boy she'd ever met—strong, yet gentle; mysterious, yet approachable.

"Why is he so... perfect?" Moon thought, watching Jack as he swam. "He's not like other boys. He's not trying to impress anyone. He's just... himself."

She decided she needed to get close to him, no matter what it took.

Kyler was at the party, but he wasn't having a good time. He saw Sam talking to Jack, and something inside him snapped. He didn't like the way she looked at him—like he was someone special.

"Who's that guy?" Kyler asked one of his friends, his tone irritated.

"Jack Sullivan. The new guy." His friend replied, smirking. "He knocked you down in the cafeteria, remember?"

Kyler didn't answer. He just looked at Sam and Jack, with a mix of anger and jealousy. He didn't like seeing Sam so close to another boy, especially the one who had humiliated him in front of everyone.

— I'm going to finish him off. — Kyler whispered to himself, with a determined look.

Sam was sitting on the edge of the pool, her feet in the water, when Jack approached. He was dripping wet, his hair wet, his body glistening in the sunlight.

"Hey," Jack said, sitting down next to her.

"Hi," Sam replied with a smile. "Are you having fun?

" "Yeah. It's a cool party." Jack replied with a nod.

They were silent for a moment, watching the people in the pool. Sam felt a pang of something she couldn't name—something she hadn't felt in a long time.

— Thanks for coming. — Sam finally said, with a smile.

— You're welcome. — Jack replied, with a half smile back.

Later, Kyler decided to get closer to Sam. He didn't like seeing her so close to Jack.

— Sam, can we talk? — Kyler asked, his tone serious.

— Sure. — Sam replied, getting up and following him to a quieter corner.

"What's wrong, Kyler?" Sam asked, crossing his arms.

"I don't like seeing you so close to that guy." Kyler replied, with an irritated tone.

"Jack?" Sam asked, raising an eyebrow. "He's just a friend, Kyler."

"I don't trust him." Kyler replied, with a hard look.

"And I don't trust you." Sam replied, with a firm tone.

Kyler was silent for a moment, as if trying to find the right words.

"Sam, I just want to protect you."

"I don't need protection, Kyler," Sam replied with a sigh.

Kyler didn't respond. He just looked at Sam, a mixture of anger and disappointment. Sam knew that conversation hadn't solved anything, but he also knew that he couldn't keep ignoring his feelings.
