SICARII

Chapter 56: INTEL

Kiara looked at Tiger, her piercing gaze unwavering. "We're going to host an emergency meeting here," she began, her tone authoritative. "I'll be calling all seven TAK gang leaders to this location. We need to hear what you know in detail—every last bit of intel you have on the agency and their operations. It's crucial if we're going to strike back effectively and grow as an organization."

She straightened up, glancing at Felix. "I'm one of the heads of this organization, alongside my husband. This isn't just about survival, Tiger—it's about building a future where the agency doesn't get to decide who lives or dies."

Tiger nodded slowly, the weight of her words settling in. "Alright," he said, "just tell me when and where, and I'll talk."

Kiara smirked faintly. "Good. Let me handle the rest." She immediately grabbed her phone and made a call, her voice firm and commanding. "We're hosting an emergency meeting at the safe house. All seven leaders need to be here within the hour. This is critical."

She ended the call and turned back to Tiger and Felix. "They're on their way. Get ready."

About 30 minutes later, the first of the gang leaders began to arrive. Five men and two women entered the safe house, each radiating authority and presence. They filed into the main room, their expressions serious. Most of them exchanged brief nods with Kiara and Felix before taking seats around the large, scarred wooden table at the center of the room.

The leaders were a diverse group, each one distinct. One man, broad and heavily tattooed, lit a cigar and leaned back in his chair, observing everyone with sharp eyes. Another was slim and wiry, his sharp features hidden under the shadow of a wide-brimmed hat. One of the women, dressed in tactical gear, carried herself with the ease of someone who had seen countless battles, while the other exuded elegance despite the worn leather jacket she wore.

Kiara stood at the head of the table, her commanding presence silencing any murmurs. "Thank you all for coming on such short notice," she began, her tone cool but resolute. "We have a lot to discuss. Let's begin."

Felix gestured for Tiger to step forward. "Alright, new guy. The floor's yours."

Tiger leaned forward, his tone low and serious as he began to speak. "The agency's hierarchy is extremely strict—the higher you climb, the more you're allowed to know. I was an officer, which gave me more access than most. But even then, I only knew what they allowed me to know. The real power and secrets are held by the board members and the president. The rest of us? We're just pawns."

Felix nodded, leaning back in his chair with a curious smirk. "An officer, huh? You must be damn good. That's a high rank. In my experience, anyone who makes it past four-star agent status is a very skilled individual."

Tiger shrugged, though there was a faint edge of pride in his voice. "Yeah, I'm good. But there are plenty better than me. Some of the four-star agents are strong enough to be officers too, but they don't want the responsibility of leadership. They'd rather focus on missions than deal with the politics. And trust me, there's a lot of politics."

Kiara, listening intently, raised an eyebrow. "Alright, so what's the reason they put a target on your back? What did you stumble into that got you marked for death?"

Tiger's expression hardened. "I overheard a conversation between two of the board members. They were talking about a successful assassination on a Nordic representative—something that's been all over the news lately. But here's the twist: it was staged to look like it was done by the Beast Organization."

The room tensed, the gang leaders exchanging glances. Felix's smirk faded. "Why frame the Beast Organization?"

"To ignite a full-scale war between Delria and Nordia," Tiger said grimly. "The idea is that Nordia would win, and the two nations would be united under one rule again. That would simplify things for the agency—they'd only have to deal with one government. They'd control the Sicarii under one umbrella. No divided loyalties. Fewer expenses."

Kiara let out a sharp breath, shaking her head. "That's insane—but honestly, it's not surprising. The agency's always been shady. This just confirms how deep the rot goes."

Tiger nodded. "It gets worse. From what I overheard, it didn't sound like this was sanctioned by the entire board or the president of the agency. It felt more like a couple of rogue members acting on their own, pursuing their own hidden agendas. It's like a power struggle at the top, and they'll use any means to achieve their goals."

Felix crossed his arms, his expression dark. "So, not only is the agency corrupt, but it's also fractured. Rogue board members, secret motives, assassinations, and wars? Sounds like a house of cards just waiting to collapse."

"Exactly," Tiger said. "But here's the thing—they're still dangerous, even if they're divided. If they know I overheard that conversation, they won't stop until I'm dead. And they'll use every resource they have to make sure no one finds out the truth."

Kiara's voice cut through the tense silence. "Well, Tiger, that truth just became our business. And trust me—we're not about to let the agency get away with this."

The room fell silent for a moment as the TAK leaders processed Tiger's words. One of them, a man with a deep voice and a scar running across his cheek, spoke up first. "We need to hit the agency sooner rather than later. We can't let them gain more ground. We need resources, weapons, and influence to grow."

Tiger, still leaning forward, nodded grimly.

Felix's eyes narrowed, calculating. "Do you know of anything that could give us an edge? Some kind of mission, something we could leverage for the resources we need to take them down?"

Tiger paused, then nodded slowly. "Actually, yes. I was just briefed on a high-profile mission set to go ahead tomorrow night. It's a bodyguard assignment. I've been assigned to protect an arms billionaire named Mr. Walker, who's coming to visit the agency for a business deal. The plan was to have us escort him safely from the Land of Xena back to the agency."

Felix's eyes lit up with interest. "Mr. Walker? I've heard of him. Seen him on TV. Big guy in arms dealing. I know he has a son too."

Tiger nodded again. "That's right. His son's been a public figure in the media a few times. But the key here is that the agency's going to be all over this mission. Mr. Walker's visit will be guarded by some of the agency's top agents. They'll be expecting us to do the job quietly and professionally."

Felix tapped his fingers together, thinking. "We don't need to go after Walker himself—not yet, at least. But we can definitely target his son. If we take him, the agency will come scrambling. They'll have to focus their resources on him—looking for him, negotiating with us." He glanced around the room at the other TAK leaders. "And with the Walker family's wealth and influence, we can get the leverage we need. Money, weapons, anything we want."

One of the other leaders, a tall woman with short hair and a serious demeanor, leaned in. "But if we take him, what happens then? We'll need to move fast, take him far from where the agency can find him quickly. Any ideas?"

Felix grinned. "Kirkia. It's remote enough that the agency will take forever to find him. We can hide him there, use him as leverage for cash, weapons, and whatever else we need. We could even sell him back to Walker for a higher price—make them pay to get him back, and use the funds to gear up for the real fight."

Tiger looked between Felix and the others, trying to gauge the reactions of the room. "This could work. But it's risky. If we mess up, we're in the crosshairs of the agency for good. And it could get bloody real fast."

Felix shrugged nonchalantly. "Risk is part of the game. But think about it—if we pull this off, it could change everything. We'll be in a position to grow large and finally get recognition . We can't waste time. The agency's been ignoring us for far too long."

The other TAK leaders exchanged looks, their faces hardening as they realized the weight of Felix's words. It was a dangerous plan, but it was one that could tilt the balance in their favor.

"We'll need a detailed plan," said Kiara, her voice sharp. "One wrong move, and we'll end up with the agency's entire force coming after us."

Felix nodded. "Agreed. Tiger, you know the mission details. Get us everything we need to make this work. We'll split into teams and cover all our bases. But first, we need to find a way to get to Mr. Walker's son without raising suspicion. We need to hit fast and hard."

Tiger felt the weight of the responsibility settling on his shoulders. He knew what he had to do, but he also knew that if this went wrong, the consequences would be catastrophic. Still, as he looked around the room at the people who were now his allies, he couldn't help but feel a flicker of hope. This might be the beginning of something bigger—something that could grow TAK as an organisation .

Kiara nodded with approval. "That's excellent, Tiger. I appreciate your cooperation. Felix, you and your squad will take charge of this mission. I have full confidence in your strength and ability to get it done. Tiger, for now, you'll need to stay out of the spotlight. Share all the details you have with Felix, and he'll move forward right away."

With that, the rest of the leaders stood up and left, followed by Kiara. Felix remained behind, his focus sharpening as he prepared for the mission ahead.
