There were only fifty seats, so naturally, demand exceeded supply.

Xu Zhi could only graduate from a famous university by putting in great effort. He did have natural talent, but he was in the end a student who came from the countryside. Back then, he had no time to play games, and was super strict now: "You don’t even have expert knowledge of evolution, and you want to play games?"

Let the world feel his pain.

He was not the same man he once was, and was no longer content to let the players do whatever they wanted. If they wanted to play the game, then they had to compete amongst themselves and work hard for his sake!

"Let me see what level these people are at." Xu Zhi sat in front of his computer, and leisurely opened a thesis. As the Great Creator who hid behind-the-scenes, he needed to understand the capabilities of his staff.

The title of the thesis was:

“An organism with the structure of a J-20 fighter jet: evolving birds with hollow bones!”

It was a ten thousand word long thesis, with accompanying diagrams of DNA structure and evolutionary statistics. It cited the classics and made reasonable and well-founded conjectures to illustrate the feasibility of this species.

Xu Zhi gulped.

How long has it been? God only knows what these people had to go through to write such a professional thesis. It was full of obscure, specialized knowledge and was extremely difficult to understand.

He thought this was just one example.

He clicked open another email, and it was another thesis that was tens of thousands of words long. It spanned over ten pages, and was accompanied by incredibly detailed diagrams.

"Analyzing the structure of electric eels to evolve Lightning Birds!"

Xu Zhi concluded that these people were truly crazy. They were a hundred times more serious than he had been in college. Back then, he had worked hard to write his academic papers, and frantically did research to fulfill his professors' assignments. But he could not compare to them.

–They were truly serious when it came to gaming!

Xu Zhi could not understand their theses and could only let the Tyranis Hive Mind handle the screening process.

He did not care if they wrote their thesis themselves or not. If they weren’t capable, then they would be eliminated sooner or later. It was an elimination game after all.

"It seems that on this side, the ‘Land of Genesis', the birthplace of all supernatural creatures, is now on track." Xu Zhi looked at the small sandbox in the courtyard.

The little ants were all frantically evolving. They did not want to lose their beta tester’s slot and were madly competing against one another.

Xu Zhi was quite satisfied with the situation on this side, and turned his attention to the large sandbox. He had passed down knowledge more than a day ago; for them, more than a hundred years had gone by, and their civilization was beginning to take shape.

For the Babylonian tribe, the past hundred years has been an incredibly peaceful period of growth.

The three witches who had been on the verge of fighting by the mountain pool of Ameya ceased their hostilities with the appearance of the god of wisdom, Hermes.

Hermes had shown them miraculous abilities, along with the blueprints for a bright future. The three of them began to dedicate themselves to their studies. They pursued longevity and immortality, and sought to master the Three Great Disciplines of Alchemy, Meditation and Magic.

In the 36th year of Babylon, the three witches had completely mastered the method of cultivating their power through meditation. Their power grew by leaps and bounds and they compiled the book: "A Beginner's Guide to Meditation and Magic", which they granted to the finest witches.

Thanks to that, the tense relationship between the three witches improved.

The orthodox method of meditation far surpassed Circe's indulgent mental practices. Circe was restrained by the other two and stopped harming the men of the tribe. She settled down and became an orthodox witch.

In the 47th year of Babylon, one of the strongest giant beasts, the behemoth Baboko, attacked the tribe.

The three witches fought a difficult battle. Medea had an epiphany between life and death and created the Heaven's Hammer magic spell. The invisible war hammer of air fell from the sky, leveling a section of the forest and killing the Baboko beast. Medea, the witch of glory who ruled the chaotic battlefield, has ascended to a new level during this bloody struggle.

In the same year, Cassandra had an epiphany about the world while planting herbs, and developed the Nectar of Spring healing spell.

In the following year, Circe had an epiphany, and created the Cursed Doll evil magic.

In the 57th year of Babylon, magic flourished, and the three witches perfected the three great magic systems they had developed. At this point, they have made advancements in Meditation and Magic, but the legendary art of Alchemy was still out of reach.

Babylon now had more than ten tribes, with thirty powerful witches.

In the 103rd year of Babylon, the three great witches pioneered the development of magic and compiled the magic tome "The Occult Gate of Truth", which recorded seventeen different spells. The witches fought with staves and spells to clear the forests of powerful beasts.

The death cries of giant beasts followed them wherever they went.

In the 139th year of Babylon, the nation of Babylon was founded, and the three witches ruled the world as a triune.

The following year, the Babylonian royal palace descended into chaos, and countless lives were lost. The witch of curses, Circe, displayed terrifying power and fought off the other two witches all by herself. She defected and fled with her followers to a faraway land, establishing the cult of "The Thorned Rose".

Babylon was plunged into a period of unrest.

Xu Zhi stood on his chair and observed them for a while through his binoculars.

He sighed and then silently put the binoculars away. So much has happened in the sandbox in the short time he hadn’t been paying attention.

"I knew it."

Xu Zhi chuckled. "Because the orthodox method of meditation is far superior, Circe had to pretend to submit to the other two. But in reality, she could not bear the long and lonely nights."

All these years, Circe has done her own meditation research and indulged in her lust behind their backs. She wasn’t discovered because she had refrained from touching the men in the tribe.

Then how did she satisfy her lust? It was simple, she used Evil Eyes instead of humans as her sex partners. She secretly imprisoned several Evil Eyes, and used them to relieve her lust behind the others back.

Xu Zhi was really shocked when he heard about this from the Hive Mind. This was the legendary Tentacle Play!

And then, using meditation as the basis, she worked out a new method of cultivation that progressed much faster than the usual approach. In Xu Zhi's opinion, she was now similar to a succubus.

Her spiritual power, which she secretly honed over the years, gradually overtook the others again, and then, she went behind their backs and corrupted a group of witches. They turned into fallen dark witches, and no longer obeyed the three iron laws of witches and kept their chastity.

Right after the nation’s founding, Circe finally couldn't take it anymore and started going after men. She had simply had enough of the Evil Eyes, and needed normal men. Gradually, men started to disappear from the tribe.

Medea and Cassandra started investigating, and so they fought, and Circe went rogue.

Xu Zhi didn't care much about their disagreement and was only focused on the progress of civilization. "Meditation and Magic have progressed, but Alchemy and Potions remain elusive."

He was in a hurry, but there was nothing he could do about it. He could only force himself to calm down.

"Now that they've opened the path, shall I follow them and start practicing Meditation and Magic?"

Xu Zhi was intrigued and laughed. "Their entire civilization is built on the Evil Eye gene; Hive Mind, I want to assimilate my first gene, the Evil Eye gene."
