Mira talked at length about the limits of an advantage of numbers, when it was more suitable, and when a different strategy had to be used. She was completely overtaken by the drive to show off all of the possibilities of summoners, especially since the children were too young to have any sort of prejudice against summoners.

A strong frontline was necessary to properly corner and overpower an enemy. Oftentimes, enemies would also focus on the strongest members, which could be used as a distraction in the correct situations.

Most of the concepts she was discussing were way too advanced, but she just continued babbling on.

The children, however, continued looking at her attentively. It was hard to tell whether they could make sense out of anything she said, but they were happy enough being able to climb on Guardian Ash’s back to jump around while saying, 「We won! We won!」

She continued watching over the children for a few days, which she used to continue her lessons, until Kagura called her, informing that the Spirit Flying Ship was scheduled to arrive at the lake the following day at noon.

Hearing that, Mira, Artesia, and Lastrada gathered in a room of the church to finalize their plan to get all of the children safely to the lake. But they quickly decided what to do. They would group up the children, and the adults would stand around them, and move together to the lake.

Mira would once again be in charge of the younger children too, as she had gotten rather popular amongst them.

「So, this is our final day here. We really came a long way from a hastily improvised foundation.」

They had finished packing everything they needed to move. Even the room they were in was devoid of anything except for the table and chairs they were on. Lastrada had been living there for many years, and as isolated and restrictive as it was, it still brought him fond memories. Artesia also felt the same, nodding and closing her eyes.

Early the next morning, everyone began the move in high spirits. This was the first time they were traveling so far, or moving for that matter, so the children were excited about the new experience.

The teachers also glanced at the shabby built church, reminiscing of all the time they spent living there and calling it home. But they did not exactly feel unsure about leaving it behind, and were looking forward to the new place they would move into.

The children were separated into various groups, which were lowered one after another to the ground. Eventually, it was also Mira’s and the younger group’s turn.

「Watch where you step… Hey, stop that, you’re going the wrong way, it’s over here.」

Forced to carry the most restless boy, Mira stepped on the platform.

Mira was overwhelmed by the children, who had all grown up in the countryside. Some just stood still, others wandered around carelessly, and some refused to let go of her. So to keep them in check a bit more, she employed the help of some friends.

Even as the platform began to lower, the children would not calm down, so Mira told them. Those who stood still, would get to ride everyone on the ground.

That everyone referred to Pegasus, Hippogriff, Garm, and Guardian Ash. And her plan was very successful.

All the boys wanted to ride on Hippogriff and Garm, as they looked more cool and brave. Meanwhile, the girls seemed more interested in Pegasus, and the wagon being pulled by Guardian Ash. Pegasus’ popularity was self-explanatory, and the wagon had been turned into a playhouse.

「Now, for a brighter tomorrow!」

Lastrada announced loudly and everyone departed, heading north to the lake.

He was together with Mira on the lead, followed by the children, with the younger ones in front and the older ones behind. The teachers were all around the group, keeping an eye on the surroundings, and then Artesia was behind everyone else, making sure no children went astray.

The forest, which was usually dense and almost impassable, had become transitable thanks to the mysterious power of the Korpokkur Sisters.

It was like the trees were moving out of the way out of their own will, letting them through. That was such an unusual sight that both the children and the teachers let out gasps of surprise.

「No issues to report!」

「Boss, look look. These are yummy.」

Around one hour after their departure, Uneko and Etenoa, the Korpokkur Sisters, came up to Mira and said that. Uneko looked like a small cute girl, as common amongst the Korpokkur, while Etenoa had strangely adopted a more ‘gal’ style. They were twins, but looked almost unrecognizable from each other. Still, they acted in perfect harmony with each other, and continued swiftly opening the way to the lake.

Both of them were also watching the surroundings for any danger, Uneko being careful in case she detected a foreign presence, and Etenoa climbing the trees and checking with her own eyes, while also picking up fruits for the children.

When they took a rest, Artesia split up the fruits amongst the children, who all happily ate them. Etenoa had a good eye for fruit.

After another hour of walking, they reached their destination, the lake. Once there, the children became even more excited than before, seeing the Spirit Flying Ship anchored and waiting for them.

Many of the children had not even seen a regular ship before, while the teachers were surprised to see it was a far larger ship than they had expected.

The Fifty Bells’ Spirit Flying Ship really was an impressive vehicle.

「Welcome to our ark of dreams and hope! Come with us for a marvelous voyage across the sky!」

Kagura descended from the ship announcing that, while spirits created a gaudy show of light and water behind her, making it look almost too extreme.

Mira grimaced, wondering what Kagura was talking about, but the children were all on board with it.

There had been some children who had been uneasy about the upcoming trip, but the show created by the spirits had sucked up all their attention. Those who had attended Mira’s exclusive summoner lessons were also excited to see the spirits themselves, trying to track down which spirit was in charge of what special effect.

「Don’t you think you’re going overboard with this?」

「Everyone decided to go all out when they heard we’d be dealing with children.」

The spirits had been the ones who came up with the idea of the show of water and lights, and after explaining that to Mira, Kagura’s body was raised into the air, likely also thanks to the power of spirits, and returned to the ship’s deck as she loudly announced, 「Enjoy your flight to its fullest!」

All the children were eager to get on as the ramp was lowered, and the ship’s crew in colorful uniforms descended.

「Please board in an orderly line, and be careful not to trip.」

They were also part of the Fifty Bells, acting as the crew of the Spirit Flying Ship. Usually, they would transport cargo and help load the storage, so it was rare for them to see passengers, and this was the first time they were letting children board the ship.

「Good, now follow me over here~」

Because of all that, they were acting more like the staff of an amusement park, likely under orders from Kagura.
