"Uh… Uncle Michael?" Ariel looked at Michael in shock.

One thing that she knew about Michael was that he wasn't going to be as pleasant and as warm as Azriel or Lucifer. And considering how he was emitting the aura of anger in the dining hall earlier and how her grandmother went to 'talk' with him, she guessed in an instant that he was there to cause trouble.

Michael gave a glare to Ariel and then replied in a monotone, "Yes, that's right. I'm Michael. At least it looks like my dear brother made you aware of who I was."

He walked and stood not too far away from Ariel. And he asked in a voice that was filled with hatred, "Or was it your grandmother who told you about me? What did she tell you? Did she ask you to be cautious of me? Did she tell you that I was a bad Uncle?"

"Umm… I... I simply..." Ariel didn't know what to say in reply to that man who was standing in front of her. Subconsciously, she was already touching the winged pendant on her neck because she could feel the hostility and rage that he was emitting.

Michael's eyes fell on the pendant. He immediately knew that the pendant was created by Theodore's magic because of the subtle aura that it was emitting.

And before Ariel could use that pendant to call her dad, Michael glared at Ariel and crudely said, "Well… it doesn't matter who told you about me. All that matters now is that you will at least know the name of the one who ended your pathetic little life."

"Ended my life?"

"You heard me right, you little pet project of the Almighty."

Without wasting a breath, Michael turned to look at his son and ordered, "Any moment now, Tobias."

Not a single person in that room saw that coming. Their minds hadn't even registered who those intruders were and what they were talking about.

And before any of them could understand and react to what Michael had just said, Tobias shot a small ice dagger aiming at Ariel's heart.

But the speed at which he threw that dagger was too slow for someone as trained as Ariel.

Ariel instantly grabbed that dagger and without hesitating, she plunged it into Michael's neck.

"Arghhh! Did you just stab me?" Michael snarled at Ariel in disbelief and shock.

The room was filled with gasps from the others because nobody saw that coming either.

And before Michael could retaliate, Ariel grabbed Michael by his collar and threw him out of the window.

Ariel jumped out of the window right after.

The shattering of the glasses and the loud thudding sound finally grabbed the attention of the Palace guards. And the guards who were nearby began to run in search of the source of the sound.

Crown Prince Vlad ran out of the room to keep the guards away from finding the celestials. He didn't want this to turn into a bloodbath.

Ramon grabbed Grace and Zach's hands and dragged them out of that dangerous territory. He would have loved to drag his twin out of there as well. But she was a tough werewolf and he trusted that she would be safe.

Joyce instantly chanted a binding spell to stop Tobias from following Ariel or attacking her again.

Niylah transformed herself into the big black wolf and stood beside Joyce to shield her from any physical attack that could come her way.

And Kenneth stood a foot away from Tobias and snarled, "Tobias, why are you trying to attack your own cousin? Are you mad? Is this some kind of a joke?"

Tobias was struggling to release himself from Joyce's spell. Her spell was a bit too powerful even for Tobias.

And he roared back at Kenneth in anger, "This isn't a joke! And I am not here to attack Ariel. I am here to kill her! Save her if you can. I dare you to save her!"

Kenneth couldn't believe his ears, especially because he had seen Tobias and Ariel getting along the last time.

And he was so enraged that he tightened his fist and punched Tobias right on the nose.

""Arghhhh…""

Both of them screamed at the top of their lungs because Tobias broke his nose and Kenneth sprained his wrist.

Outside, Ariel was continuously attacking Michael without giving him a chance to catch his breath.

She was throwing fireballs after fireballs at Michael.

However, he was evading all of the attacks very effortlessly.

And Ariel had to be mindful to extinguish those fireballs before they hit any parts of the castle.

Ariel was surprised by one thing though. She wondered if her attacks were so weak that Michael didn't even think that he needed to counterattack, or if her attacks were so powerful that he didn't get enough time to conjure up his attacks.

It was neither. Michael simply didn't want to get his hands dirty by attacking the star child of the family. He was waiting for his son to come down and complete what he had started.

But seeing how much time Tobias was taking, he was starting to get furious. So he screamed after evading yet another attack from Ariel, "Tobias, get down here this instant! Or things won't go right for your mother!"

Tobias heard his father all too well. "I cannot keep on getting stuck here," he thought to himself. And that scream from his father gave him the right amount of push to break free from Joyce's spell.

Kenneth instantly threw a roundhouse kick at Tobias when he noticed that Tobias had broken free.

But that kick wasn't enough to stop the grandson of God. Tobias grabbed Kenneth by his neck and smashed the hybrid on the floor with so much force that a huge crater formed below Kenneth's back.

Tobias didn't give much attention to the witch and the wolf. He swiftly jumped out of the window and landed in between Ariel and his father.

"Tobias! Step aside if you don't want to get caught in the crossfire," Ariel shouted at her cousin, forgetting that he was the one who had attacked her and not Michael.

Tobias pointed his palms at Ariel and shouted aggressively, "Don't act as if you know me, you little twat!"

"What did you just call me?" Ariel was enraged upon hearing the insult from Tobias.

Michael saw a couple of guards approaching them. With the flick of his fingers, he sent them flying away and ordered his son, "Stop using your mouth! Use your hands, you dimwit!"

Tobias immediately threw a couple of ice daggers at Ariel.

Ariel reflexively built a huge wall of fire in front of her.

All the ice daggers melted into nothing upon coming into contact with that firewall.

Tobias then threw a huge spear. But the spear also melted before it could get anywhere near Ariel.

Tobias could hear his father shouting something from behind. But he couldn't bother to listen to him. He was too busy doing a complex set of hand movements and chanting a spell in his mind.

After a while, a bright light came out of Tobias' body and headed in the direction of Ariel.

Ariel's fire disappeared. And so did Ariel and Tobias.

Tobias had trapped Ariel in his personal domain which only he would have control over.

"What the hell is this place?" Ariel looked around at the large white hall that she was in and shouted at Tobias who was standing at the end of the hall.

Tobias then replied, "Your personal hell?"
