Shadow Slave: The Holy Emperor

I made a slight change to Chapter 9. Between Keter and Aurora's interaction.

--During the initiation(Nephis)--

At the back of the hall, a beautiful lone girl leaned against the wall, frowning. 'Why am I stronger?' She pondered, her eyes drawn to the pretty boy sitting on the steps of the stage. 'That's the man who earned a true name same as me. Holy Emperor was his true name I believe.' The longer she looked at him the stronger she felt. 'He's the origin of this boost then.' Nephis noted, then noticed that no one else was having any reaction to the boost in strength. And the closer she got to him the stronger she felt. 'I need to learn why this is happening and if he's an ally or enemy.' After her evaluation, she rushed to find him and she found him roaming the hall lost in thought. To not startle him too bad she tapped him on the shoulder and Asked.

"Can we talk?" Nephis didn't wait for an answer and started to drag Keter away.

--During the initiation(Cassie)--

Cassie was incredibly uncomfortable with her newly lost sense it was hard for her to navigate around she even needed help to find her way to the table she sitting at. 'Hm, what is that' Cassie felt weird she was so slightly stronger that she could barely tell, but her senses were stronger, and she even felt a little giddy. 'I don't know why this happening but it feels nice.' Cassie hummus in comfort enjoying herself during the initiation. 

--Present Time--

"Hey wait-" Keter hurriedly says as Nephis drags him away. 'What the hell is happening' Keter thinks as Nephis brings him to one of the training rooms.

"I've never heard of a passive dormant rank aspect ability," Nephis says then continues. "But if it's not passive why are you aiming it at me," She says her eyes narrowing.

"My aspect ability isn't passive nor does it buff people at random," Keter said holding his ground. 'I'm not about to let her accuse me of something I didn't do' Keter then asks. "Are you sure the buff came from me?"

"Yes, I am," Nephis says without hesitation.

Keter thinks for a moment then asks."You're demanding answers from me about my aspect so tell me, is your aspect related to something divine or holy?' asking just so she doesn't get suspicious.

Nephis thinks for a second then says "Yes, does that matter?" The hostility in her voice lessened.

'Does being the Holy Emperor automatically strengthen holy or divine-related beings?' Keter thinks then says. "I might know what causing this." Keter looks up at her and asks. "Do you mind if I try something?"

Nephis nods.

When Keter sees that he focuses Miricale into his hand and golden dust-like particles start to float from his hand. 'Being able to create miracles is a very broad ability. I haven't found all of my current restrictions but buffing is one of the things I've been practicing. With it being the first thing I pull off besides healing. But as of current, she getting stronger from just my presence without Miricale activated. So what if I just strengthen the buff that she already has?" Keter stands there for a while and Nephis eyes widen when she feels a flood of power that someone of mere dormant rank should not have.

"How did you do that?" Nephis asked curious.

"I just strengthened what was already there," Keter says calmly but still very excited. 'I understand what was happening now. My theory about it being due to her connection to the divine and I was right. Due to me being the Holy Emperor all holy or divine beings get stronger in my presence the more so the better. It's also much easier to buff them allowing me to push the buffs further than normal."

Keter shakes his hand tiredly as he thinks. 'That also hurt quite a bit when I was looking for the reason as to why it was happening and saw it, her divine lineage.' Keter grimaces. 'It burnt me quite a bit.' Keter then looks up to her and says. "this was quite a productive meeting I hope we will continue to meet on good terms." Keter puts out his hand for a handshake.

Nephis stared at him for a moment then shock his hand. "I hope so as well."
