Shadow Slave: Omnitrix

Chapter 5: Save Me, Save Me, Kill Me, Kill Me

In the harsh sunlight of the abominable desert, a plant man was seen fighting a gigantic creature. The creature looked like a worm with spirals all around its body, the creature had no face or jaw, but had an opening in its front which was covered with humongous teeth.

The creature dove into the sand flinging the scorching sand everywhere. The plant man had a concentrated face as he torched his hand and threw the fire towards the worm creating a massive fireball.

The heat was staunch as it warmed up the sand to the point of creating glass. But, the creature still did not surface, the plant man's eyes widened as he tried to jump up.

But, he was slow as the creature burst out of the sand under him and bit half his body off. Flinging the torso a mile away, the creature seemed to be regenerating but his eyes had no spark in it.

'Save me, Save me, Save me, Save me, Save me, Save me, Save me, Save me, Save me, Save me, Save me, Save me, Kill me, Kill me, Kill me, Kill me, Kill me, Kill me, Kill me, Kill me, Kill me, Kill me,'

Wright cried out in his mind, everything hurt. His body wanted to give up, his mind was in tatters as his sanity was slipping.

But, Wright under the effects of [Serene Grace] continued to persist. He regenerated his body through his new transformation [Swampfire].

It had been a week since he had come to the Tomb of Ariel and it had been hell. Every day he pointed [Unity] at his throat trying to take his life but he always gave up.

He soon summoned his Echo [First Hunter] causing a massive demonic wolf to emerge from the sand and head towards the worm. He had three tails and three heads with dark fur covering him. His teeth were razor sharp as his paws left marks on the harsh desert sand.

He soon transformed into ghostfreak and headed towards the gigantic worm. He grit his teeth as he transformed back into swampfire.

He used his powers to generate vines around the creature and bind it. But, the creature was formidable as it broke through the restraints in an instant; though the [First Hunter] managed to land a blow and rip off some of its flesh.

Enraged, the creature jumped towards Wright in hopes of devouring him; which caused Wright to chuckle. He telepathically made Gehrman hold off on his assaults as he transformed into diamondhead.

Just as the creature's opened its home to devour him, Wright grit his teeths and summoned spikes that protruded outwards piercing the creature all over; making it shriek in pain.

Wright laughed maniacally as he did not let this opening go. He summoned a huge monument of diamond, which protruded upwards with spikes all over; impaling the creature upwards, the creature was now a monument for others to witness Wright's cruelty.

As it drew its final breath; the abomination shrieked with fear, its death was gruesome; it was like a fish pierced by a spear, shown off to others like a prize.

Wright soon glowed red signifying his allotted time for his transformation had been reached as he turned back into a human.

The Spell soon whispered

[You have slain the Fallen Demon, Desert Scavenger!]

[Your Transformations grow stronger!]

Wright smiled at this as he rubbed Gehrman's fluffy head. He had named the massive Demonic Wolf Gehrman; he thought it was a good tribute.

Wright had also discovered that he was able to turn his Echoes into Alien's like him. It was kind of like how Sunny could turn his Echoes into Shadows.

With a sigh, Wright climbed into Gehrman's back and continued his insane journey.

Wright sat in a makeshift cave he had made, shivering from fear. He had attempted to journey through the night but found out a sad truth. The undead shadows had grown stronger.

He had lost much of his organs during his escape as he could not hurt any of them. But, he had transformed into swampfire and regenerated everything.

His eyes soon filled with water as he cried silently at his pain, everything hurt. Wright just wanted to die!.

******

Two months had passed; Wright did not know how many times he should've died. But, swampfire's ability to heal and [Unity] had allowed him to continue.

But, he wished he did not have anything remotely close to healing; he wanted to die. He did not want to continue this endless torment.

Somewhere along the line he had also built the courage to kill himself but the second he tried to pierce his neck; he transformed into ghostfreak and avoided the blade.

He had tried suicide multiple times but he always cycled through transformations. He tried to set himself on fire but he turned into swampfire.

He tried to let a nightmare creature eat him, but he turned into diamondhead and was able to survive. He had not been able to relieve himself of the pain at all.

His journey could be described as endless suffering and madness. But at least there was something positive to this insane journey. He had finally reached the Hollow Mountains.

Wright debated on whether to cross through the Hollow Mountains so that his tormented journey could end before he shook that thought away.

He had made it this far without dying so why couldn't he endure a bit longer and survive. Yes — that was what he was going to do, he was going to survive.

Heroes do not give up no matter what happens. With a sigh, he turned west determined to survive this maddening journey.
