[Your nightmare is over.]

Once again, Raphael found himself in the space between dream and reality. The boundless black void was illuminated by a myriad of stars, with countless strings of silver light connecting them together to form an infinite, beautiful pattern.
But Raphael didn't care how beautiful the Spell is, he remind silent waiting for the Nightmare Spell to finish it's appraisal.
[Dreamer! Your trial is over.]
[A nameless human found himself prisoned in the underworld, he was chosen to be the feast of the Count banquet, but thanks to his uniqueness he survived! The Count sent him to the Royal Castle where he met Mohg, Lord of Blood the right hand of the Daemon of Destiny! After thousand of experiments and by the approval of the Seven Dukes he was chosen to receive Nether lineage! Becoming the new Ruler of the Underworld!]

Raphael looked at the Spell appraisal, and Chuckled.
'Isn't this too coincidental? From his Aspect to the Second Nightmare. There is no way someone will survive Nether lineage, only an immortal can.. It was like I'm [Fated] to receive it..'
"Haha.. Is this how Sunny felt? Being a pawn in someone else game."
[Your Aspect is Ready to evolve. Evolve Aspect?]
"Yes." Raphael said nonchalantly.
[Sacred Aspect Undying is evolving…]
[New Aspect acquired.]
[Aspect Rank: Divine.]

Suddenly Raphael felt his Soul started burning, the heat that was building up in Raphael's soul had reached a critical point, and then exploded. It felt as though his core was being torn apart.. but it wasn't something new to him.
The same thing happened five more times each time was worse than before.
Raphael entered his Soul sea and what he saw was far different than before.
Before there was only one bright Soul Core, now there was Seven dark orbs in the sky. The blue sea became dark as oil. And threads of Silver were everywhere in his Soul Sea.
Suddenly Raphael heard the Spell voice again.
[The Second Seal is broken.]
[Awakening dormant powers…]
Raphael felt something changing in his Seven Soul Cores, they were radiating an ethereal, but almost palpable heat. The energy was circulating through his entire body, changing it, making it stronger. It was somewhat similar to the strange feeling he got every time he absorbed a soul fragment, but so much more powerful.
…A thousand times more powerful.
He felt every fiber of his being was soon full of the mysterious energy. The familiar euphoric feeling overwhelmed him.
Raphael started examining his new body, he felt like he was born a new.
[Awakening Aspect Ability…]

[Aspect Ability Name: Seer.]
Raphael summoned his new Ability Runes but before that he heard the Spell, again.
[The Third Seal is broken.]
[Awakening dormant powers…]
After Raphael has Awakened, he was now about to be Ascended.
Just as before, he felt as though something was waking up inside him. His Seven Soul Cores ignited with intense heat, the power within them surging. The heat spread through his soul and his body, rejuvenating and changing them.
The feeling was familiar and euphoric. He felt his body being reforged into a stronger, better, more perfect version of itself. His soul was going through the same sublime transformation.
This process was already familiar to Raphael, since more or less the same thing had happened to him twice before. However, this time… something was different…
Instead of stopping after reaching the threshold of qualitative change and immense fortification, the transformation continued. His body and soul, both turned incandescent and malleable by the furious heat flowing through them, started to melt into each other.
They were slowly merging.
But they were not simply joining into a single whole… instead, the two parts of his being resonated with each other, reinforcing one another. The power of that resonance grew stronger and stronger, and then exploded once it reached his seven cores.
Under the influence of the resonance, the threshold was demolished, pushing him even further on the path of evolution. And as his body and soul became one…
A profound change took place.
Suddenly, Raphael felt the soul essence coursing through every fiber of his being with stark clarity. The difference was so staggering.
Additionally, since his body and soul were now deeply interconnected, the effect of one on another also went through a fundamental change. He could do much more, and with much less.
This was the true boon of the Ascension.
Slowly, the heat suffusing his newly reforged self subsided and turned into a pleasant coldness. The coldness then disappeared, absorbed into his spirit, his flesh, and his bones.
the Spell spoke from the darkness:
[Awakening Aspect Ability.]
[Aspect Ability acquired.]
[...Aspect Ability Name: Hades.]
The spell was not done, its voice resounded once again:
[Your Attribute has evolved.]
[You have gained two new Attributes.]
The Spell paused for a moment, and then added solemnly:
[Your Ascension is completed.]
Raphael was stunned.. There was to much information that it took five seconds to register everything.
He then summoned his status Runes, to see what changed.

True Name: The Black Emperor
Rank: Ascended.

Raphael didn't waste time and summoned his new Attributes Runes.

Raphael read his status several times over.
…After some time, Raphael threw his head back and let out a loud, triumphant laugh.
As his laughter echoed in the darkness, the Spell whispered into his ear.
[...Wake up, Raphael.]
