Chapter 15: CHAPTER 15:- THE ANALYSIS.
Fang Yuan was sitting behind a wooden desk in a dimly lit room, scribbling rapidly on a piece of notebook paper with a ballpoint pen.
The room he was in was cosy, It had a bed with a soft mattress, a table, a dresser, and a separate bathroom. The materials were new and aesthetically pleasing, the air crisp and sterile. It was warm inside, and the outer wall was equipped with a hidden screen that seamlessly imitated a wide window, opening to a picturesque vista of a snowy park.
Everything having to do with Sleepers was situated in the same building. Fang Yuan followed the instructions sent to his communicator and quickly found the dormitories, which were situated on one of the lowest levels. To his surprise, he actually got a whole room to himself.

After a moment, he paused, placing the pen down gently on the desk. he leaned back slightly in the chair and looked down at the notebook, inspecting the analysis he had written with a contemplative expression.
his fingers hover over the paper, tracing a few lines, as if debating whether to make changes or continue. A feeling of introspection filled the room, with the only sound being the quiet drumming of his fingers.
'' I do not have sufficient information, although I have Cassia and Sunny's information they too are mostly vague and not completely descriptive.'' ''sigh'' With a sigh Fang Yuan opened his runes.

'his vision focused on another pair of runes and he willed it to summon'
Thin black threads immediately appeared around his hand and wrapped it into a double handed shirasaya sword. It features a plain black sheath and handle, without any decorative guard or fittings. The focus is on the blade itself, with the unadorned design highlighting its natural beauty and elegance. the sword was all black and was about a meter long and double edged.
"It reminds me of the old times." Although in his previous world, Fang Yuan used gu mostly to deal with enemies, swords were the foundation that helped him reach the Eastern Sea and make himself who he was.
Fang Yuan gripped the hilt of his all-black sword with both hands, lifting it slowly. He took a deep breath, focusing. With one fluid motion, he swung the blade in a sharp diagonal slash from his right shoulder. The blade cuts through the air, making a soft whoosh.
stepping forward, raising the sword above his head, both hands gripping the hilt tightly. With a sharp exhale, he brought the blade down in a powerful overhead strike. The sword moved swiftly, its edge flashing in the dim light as it hit the air with a whisper.
shifting his weight and stepping to the side, moving smoothly into a defensive stance. he raised the sword vertically in front of him, both hands gripping the hilt. In one quick motion, he pivots, bringing the blade down in a horizontal slash. The black sword moves cleanly through the air, cutting an invisible opponent.
His moves were fluid, each strike precise, his feet shifting with each movement. Fang Yuan's body twisted as he delivered a series of rapid thrusts, each one aimed with perfect control. His black sword glimmered as it moved through the space, a blur of motion.
finally taking a quick step back, resetting his stance. he remained focused. Fang Yuan adjusted his grip on the hilt and looks down at the sword for a brief moment before moving again.
With a sudden burst of energy, he charged forward, lifting the sword above his head. In one smooth motion, he brought it down in a powerful overhead strike, the blade cutting the air with a clean, decisive movement.
lightly on his feet, the sword held in front of him, poised. He stands still for a moment, breathing steadily, before lowering the sword to the ground.
The room was quiet again, the sword resting by his side as Fang Yuan stepped back, his testing complete.
''how is it so well suited for my style? was it because it came from Han Mo? with it being soul bound this sword can actually grow alongside me so as long as I become strong it will too become strong .'' Fang Yuan wanted to think about it but was interrupted by the time.
it was time for supper.
**********
The supper turned out to be good as the dormitory. meat was freely available to Sleepers, there wasn't even a limit to the amount each of them could eat. More than that, there were rice, bread, various side dishes, sauces, fresh vegetables, fruits, and all kinds of delicious beverages.
He concentrated on the food, taking a full plate he sat down. Satiated and more than a little gorged, fang yuan wanted to test his powers in the dorm room But it was already time for his appointment with the Academy personnel.
Full of regret, he stood up and left the cafeteria.
Soon, he found himself in a small office, sitting across from an administrative worker. The worker was very friendly, and started the interview right away.
Just like Master Jet had warned him, he was offered psychological counselling again. Remembering her advice, he refused, and the interview smoothly switched to questions about his Aspect.
He didn't want to give up information about his abilities, but also knew that he had to tell the worker something. the questions were worded in a way to put Sleepers at ease. As such, most of them started with nice and polite preambles like "Would you like to tell me" or "If you're willing to share",
"Would you mind telling me about the type of Aspect Ability you received, as in combat, sorcery, utility?"
He did mind but knowing that how he needed to tell about something to be in the below average.
"its a combat ability."
"that's great! would you mind telling us more about it."
"It makes my body tough and eyes sharper."
Things went on like that. In the end, he shared just enough information to create an impression that his Aspect was good but not great and had somewhat potential with him lying and saying he got an awakened aspect. which on others would fail but knowing nothing about the true rank he somehow passed the lie detector.
After that, he returned to his room, undressed, and started to know more about his abilities until the time for his first class in the morning.
