Seeing the creature that had been summoned, Chu Wuyao was extremely surprised.

She had known beforehand that essentially, casting the Devil Summoning was "trading" the souls that were used during the creation of the formation, in order for a creature from the Devil World to descend.

In a split second, it made the decision that every Devil in her situation would make: escape.

"Rooaa...Meow!", the black cat "roared" and jumped up, ready to drill into the space crack and leave this place.

Secretly, it was very aggrieved.

Everything recorded in the bloodline inheritance was a lie!

The outside world was so dangerous!

The ancestors were obviously trying to trick their descendants!

"Little kitten, you'll be my servant from now on.", it heard the woman state in a calm voice, that didn't hold seem to care about its opinion.

The black cat originally thought that this woman was joking, but when it looked into its calm eyes, anger rushed through its body.

"No! Impossible! I'm a noble Twilight Cat! The descendant of a Higher Devil! I will never become anyone's servant.", it yelled and wanted to fight back to recover its lost dignity, when it saw the woman move her hand and slap it on the head.

"Bang!"

"You can't make me surrender!"

"Bang!"

"No! I'm a Twilight Cat!"

"Master, this is the tea that I made for you."

"I hope you enjoy it.", a voice reached Chu Wuyao's ears, as she felt a soft, furry head rubbing against its hand gently, while a cup of tea had unknowingly appeared in front of her.

She nodded her head and picked up the cup, taking a sip and tasting the cat's tea skills.

"It's really good. I didn't expect that you're actually a talented cat.", she couldn't help but praise it.

"Master, this servant doesn't deserve your praise. It's all because of your careful teachings.", the black cat said in a shy voice and its eyes and tone were filled with obvious flattery.

It was the first time that Chu Wuyao had seen such an anthropomorphic expression on a cat, which made it look extremely strange.

Ignoring this, Chu Wuyao's thoughts turned and she recalled the information she had previously obtained from it.

This black cat is a Lower Devil that has lived its whole life in the Devil World.

Although it constantly bragged about how it was a noble Twilight Cat, Chu Wuyao learned that it was separated by countless generations from the ancestor of the Twilight Cat Race, meaning that it was just a slightly more healthy cat.

Its strength and potential could only be considered at the bottom of the whole Devil World.

According to this cat, the reason why it dared to accept the summons and descend into this world was because it thought that it was dealing with a mortal who happened to get a way to summon Devils, and not another Devil.

"Even though this black cat's intelligence is a slightly lacking, I can only make do with it for now.", Chu Wuyao thought and under the cat's flattering expression, it picked it up and was ready to return to the Waterflower City.

Not long ago, she received a message from the Original Desire Sect, stating that the appointed person by the sect had arrived at the city.

This meant that she would finally be able to leave this place and return back to the sect.

She knew that if she wanted to continue becoming stronger, staying in the Waterflower City would be counterproductive.

Chu Wuyao felt that only by returning to the Original Desire Sect and going through its harsh training system would she be able to realize her dreams.

Otherwise, even if she had the system and the Devil bloodline, she would never be able to reach the peak of this world.
