Chapter 48: Vision, Peeper
Looking at the four options in front of her eyes, Chu Wuyao didn't rush to make a decision.
She knew that the choice she made was bound to have a profound impact on her future cultivation journey.
"First of all, Option 4 can be completely ignored.", Chu Wuyao thought and dismissed this option.
She was already very comfortable with her current body, and all her skills and combat experience were based around the human body.
Chu Wuyao didn't want to lose this advantage.
It's totally not because she wanted to remain beautiful and was afraid that she this option would turn her into something disgusting!
Chu Wuyao would never be so superficial!
After crossing out the fourth option, it became very easy for Chu Wuyao to decide.
Option 1 and Option 2 were both quite good, but Option 3 was obviously the one that suited her the best.
Moreover, she had a hunch that this option would enhance her future potential.
Having made her choice, Chu Wuyao selected Option 3 with no hesitation.
As soon as she clicked on it, the system prompt in her field of vision flickered and shone with a chaotic, black color that seemed to be the source of everything evil in the world.
Unfortunately, Chu Wuyao didn't have the time admire this change.
The moment she made her decision, a indescribable energy rushed through her body and flowed to the blood vessels.
This energy was both hot and cold, evil and holy, chaotic and orderly, and started raging inside body as if it wanted to destroy her blood vessels.
"AAAAHH!"
Chu Wuyao couldn't help but scream loudly, and she had the illusion that this energy was awakening some thing deep inside her blood.
Since she had transmigrated to this world, Chu Wuyao had suffered countless injures and suffered pain that would have made the average ordinary person go crazy.
But even so, compared to the pain she was experiencing at the moment, the previous pain seemed to be a joke.
It's as if someone was hammering her very being, striking every cell of hers with all their strength.
Countless cracks unknowingly appeared on her body, making her look like an almost broken porcelain doll.
Blood rushed out of these cracks and quickly turned into a black color, before falling to the ground.
Unfortunately, as soon as it fell, more blood rushed out of her body, making the pain even more intense.
"Seven Deadly Sins System! I'll kill you! I'll kill you!"
"Don't let me survive this! Otherwise I'll slaughter your entire family and make you watch!, Chu Wuyao shouted amidst the pain and her eyes flashed with a unconcealed madness.
She wanted to curse the system and its creator, but soon, her consciousness went blank from all the pain and she seemed to have jumped outside reality.
Since Chu Wuyao was enduring extraordinary pain, she never noticed that while she was undergoing the transformation, a huge figure appeared behind her, seemingly jumping out of her body.
It was a beautiful woman, with white hair and red eyes, wearing a black dress and having an indifferent expression on her face.
This indifference was not coldness, but a deeper, more scary feeling.
It's as if this woman had seen through the mortal world and apart from herself, everything was only a dream that she could wipe out with just a wave of her hands.
If Chu Wuyao were to see her, she would immediately recognize that this woman was herself, and she was her vision, a phenomenon that would only appear at the Supernatural Realm.
The indifferent Chu Wuyao didn't take any action, until she noticed an aura coming towards this place and turned her head to look at its source.
Her gaze passed through the underground room, through the countless mountains and rivers, and arrived at a small sect that was composed of many tiny, ordinary buildings.
Her eyes didn't show any emotion, remaining completely indifferent.
"Ant! How dare you peek at me?!", she spoke and her eyes glowed with a dazzling, black light.
Soon, the black light in her eyes disappeared, as if was just an illusion.
After doing this, the indifferent Chu Wuyao didn't take any other action and just stood behind Chu Wuyao silently.

In a dark cave at the back of a small sect, an old man with long white hair and a well-trimmed beard was standing cross-legged with his eyes closed, obviously cultivating.
Suddenly, the old man's eyes opened, revealing a pair of golden eyes that contained a hint of immaturity.
"What's up with this ominous premonition?", the old man muttered in a low voice.
As Yi Tian, the ancestor of the Secret Sect that primarily focused on divination, the old man would not doubt his own instincts.
"Let's see. What is it that can make attract my premonition?", Yi Tian smiled and his hands started moving erratically in front of his eyes, trying to deduce the information.
As a powerful cultivator, he wasn't afraid that anything would happen.
With his cultivation, even if he was besieged by many beings of the same level, Yi Tian was confident that he would be able to escape unscathed.
He was only slightly curious about what happened.
Soon, many pictures appeared in front of Yi Tian's golden eyes.
A red moon, a dark underground room, a blurry figure sitting at the ground.
"Let me see what true identity is.", he whispered and his eyes focused on the blurry figure, trying to see through its appearance.
The blurry figure slowly became more and more clear but suddenly, the old man's intuition warned him of extreme danger.
He wanted to stop the deduction, but just then, a pair of indifferent eyes appeared directly on his mind, looking at him condescendingly.
"Ant! How dare you peek at me?!", an indifferent voice resounded in his ears.
"Blurgh!"
The moment these words fell, Yi Tian felt his life passing away and he uncontrollably coughed out blood, while a black mist engulfed his entire figure.
"No! What is this?", he asked with a horrified expression and urged his cultivation, awakening the Secret Sect's hidden magic weapon.
A blue compass appeared and flew to the top of his head, shining with a brilliant blue light and working together with him to suppress his injuries.
Time passed by slowly, until finally, the black mist disappeared and Yi Tian felt that his life was no longer in danger.
Wiping the imaginary sweat on his forehead, Yi Tian was still terrified when he recalled that indifferent eyes and that black mist.
"No! This is not something I can intervene with."
"This was just a warning by that being and I was extremely close to ending up completely dead."
Yi Yian was 100% sure that the owner of those eyes didn't take him seriously, allowing him to survive.
As a cultivator that had lived for many years and had gone through countless life and death experiences, Yi Tian's mentality was completely different from those young people and didn't even consider taking revenge.
He didn't dare to have any ill feeling towards that powerful being.
Even, if that being appeared in front of him, Yi Tian would simply kneel to the ground and beg them to let him become their servant.
"No! I should warn the people in the sect to be careful, lest they provoke that being!", Yi Tian murmured and jumped up, ready to inform the sect's elders.

In the underground room, Chu Wuyao didn't know that her bloodline awakening had scared the ancestor of a major righteous sect.
Some time had passed since the start of her bloodline awakening and by now, the pain in her body was starting to subside, relieving her of some pressure.
At the same time, the huge indifferent figure behind her disappeared, entering her body and fusing with it.
Chu Wuyao didn't know how much time had passed, but suddenly, her consciousness recovered and she returned to reality, being able to take control of her body once again.
Looking down, she found that the cracks on her body had completely disappeared and all the blood had fallen to the ground, creating a small pool of strange black blood around her.
If Chu Wuyao didn't know any better, she would have never imagined that just not long ago, she looked almost ready to die.
Ignoring the pain, she checked her condition, only to find that although she was currently quite weak, there was an extremely destructive power hidden deep inside her body.
"Boom!"
A loud sonic boom resounded throughout the underground room, as she waved her hand and her palm cut through the air.
"Bang! Boom!"
After she played around with her physical power for some time, Chu Wuyao turned her attention to the other changes that had taken place in her.
She had already noticed that not only was there a huge increase in her physical strength, but there were massive changes in her cultivation, skills and even appearance.
