Chapter 182: Judgement(2)
However, Song Yang had lived for hundreds of years and his mind had been tempered through many experiences.
Quickly, he realized that he had been affected by something and he moved his mind, suppressing those strange feelings, wiping out those images, and returning to reality.
It only took a split second for him to recover, but when he woke up, he found that the black scythe had almost fallen on him.
With no time to react, Song Yang could only act in a hurry and control his Vision to step in front of him and act as a shield.
He was still quite confident, feeling that it was impossible for his Vision to fail to withstand at least one attack.
Unfortunately, what he didn't notice was that a balance scale appeared behind the head of the Six Paths Vision while he was reliving his past experiences.
Half of this scale was golden and surrounded by bright lights, while the other half was deep red and dripped with blood.
Slowly, the balance scale tilted towards its red part as if there was an invisible weight pressing on it, and by the time Song Yang woke up, it had tilted completely.
"Judgement: Guilty!"
"Sentence: Death!"
The Six Paths Vision opened its mouth and pronounced, its voice cold, emotionless, and indifferent.
Following its words, a red hue appeared on the edge of the black scythe in its hand, and it continued falling towards Song Yang.
A shiver ran down Song Yang's spine when he saw this red hue and he was about to dodge, but it was too late.
"Swoosh!"
The now black-red scythe fell on his Vision, but the expected collision didn't happen.
Instead, the scythe cut right through The Plague as if it was made out of paper, cutting it in two with ease.
It didn't stop there, however, but continued in its trajectory, its target clear: Song Yang.
"Bang!"
The scythe teleported in front of Song Yang's face, and under his stunned expression, its sharp tip penetrated his forehead and pierced through his head, nailing him.
With the strong vitality of an Awakening Realm cultivator, Song Yang didn't die immediately as a result of this injury but had the time to raise his head and look at Chu Wuyao, as well as the majestic Six Paths Vision that stood behind her.
"No! Impossible... How come?", he muttered in disbelief, hoping that everything was a mere dream and he would soon wake up.
Unfortunately, the pain in his body and the imminent feeling of death let him know that this was not a nightmare but reality.
Soon, the eyes of the unwilling Song Yang completely lost their vitality and his body went limp.
When Chu Wuyao saw this, she was about to step forward and check, when she discovered that a glowing green light flew out of Song Yang's body and rushed towards her.
She controlled the Six Paths Vision and was about to defend, but she stopped her movements, allowing the light to get close to her.
Instinctively, Chu Wuyao felt that this light would not bring her any harm, but would instead be very beneficial.
Indeed, when the light landed on her, it was quickly absorbed by her, or to be more accurate, it was absorbed by the Six Paths Vision.
The next moment, it was as it had swallowed a rare tonic and its power started increasing at a rapid speed.
At the same time, the improvement of the Six Paths Vision fed back to her own body, improving the quality of her Mana and the strength of her physical body.
If it was not for the fact that Chu Wuyao was consciously suppressing her cultivation, this improvement have allowed her to break through the Awakening Realm.
While she was surprised by this change and had an urge to investigate, she knew that this was not the right place nor the right time.
Although her fight with Song Yang didn't last very long and she was able to kill him quite quickly, the strength of the two of them was very high and brought devastation to the land around them.
Such loud noise was bound to attract other cultivators to come here and investigate what happened.
In fact, Chu Wuyao had already noticed that two cultivators were rushing toward this place, and it was clear from their aura that they were stronger than Song Yang.
"I can't stay in this place any longer.", she thought and waved her hand, picking up the corpse of Song Yang and placing it in her space ring.
Then, she didn't choose to run away.
Since Chu Wuyao was able to sense the other cultivators, it was very likely that they had already spotted her.
She wasn't very sure about escaping from three Awakening Realm cultivators and although she could always choose to use her God Clone, doing so might attract the attention of the elders of the major forces.
Fortunately, Chu Wuyao had another way to leave this place.
Looking at the blue piece of paper in her hand, she couldn't help but feel a little emotional.
This paper was the Teleportation Talisman that she had received from the inheritance of the Mist Dragon, and she had always been reluctant to use it, even when she was in danger.
But now, she felt that the time to make use of it had finally come.
Without any hesitation, Chu Wuyao urged her Mana and poured it into the Teleportation Talisman in her hand.
The next moment, the space in front of her shook, and a two-meter tall and one-meter wide space crack formed.
Before she could react, a suction force came from inside the space crack and swallowed her in, before it quickly healed.
Half a minute later, when the two Awakening Realm cultivators arrived in this place, they looked at the traces of the previous fight and tried to find the owner of the previous aura, but their efforts were to no avail. Stay connected via My Virtual Library Empire
