Settle at Hogwarts
Chapter 49 Jealousy
"Just do it. My hands can no longer brew high-level potions, but the Prince family can still give you some support. You don't have to worry about the potion tester. The potion will be brewed in a while. Leave it to Koko. If there is no problem after trying it, you should be able to see your name in the Daily Prophet after Christmas." Dio leaned on the bed, his voice was weak but still full of emotion. There is no doubt about it.
"Don't we need to try a few more times?" Tabor hesitated. He didn't expect that human experiments would begin so soon.
"No, you have to know that there are many desperadoes who are willing to serve as testers to help us test the effects of potions for the sake of Galleons. Tabor, you need to change your mind. The time of a potion master is very precious. As for those scum , they only need a trivial galleung to work for you."
Tabor thought of the dark wizards lying idle in the alley, as well as the werewolf and other wizard groups living in extremely difficult circumstances, and knew that there was nothing wrong with his grandfather's words.
"Okay, if something goes wrong, I have a few backup plans. They have been tested on toads before and can be modified."
"Very well, go see your sister. Erin can already crawl."
Seeing that his grandfather was clearly in a mental state, Tabor moved his mouth, but never said a word of concern, turned around and left the bedroom.
"Tabor, you're back."
Allen, who had just walked in from outside, saw Tabor coming down the stairs and said hello to him with a forced smile.
"Uncle, you...I'm going to see little Irene."
Allen looked at Tabor's back as he disappeared around the corner, the smile on his face gradually disappeared, and jealousy made his expression look a little distorted.
Tabor keenly felt the malicious gaze behind him, and frowned in distress. His uncle is also in some trouble. Although Tabor has no intention of competing for the position of the head of the family, in his eyes, his current behavior is no different from competing for it.Moreover, he is about to become a potion master at a young age, so he must be very unwilling to do so.
Walking into Erin's room, Tabor saw little Erin in the arms of a house elf, holding a floating bottle in her mouth and sucking continuously, making a "beep, bab" sound.
"Little Master Tabor."
Seeing Tabor entering the door, the elf was obviously stunned for a moment, and then wanted to bend down and salute. However, considering the Erin he was holding in his arms, his movements seemed a little awkward.
"Okay, I order you not to bow in the future and take good care of Irene."
After Tabor finished speaking, he took a few steps closer and met a pair of big black eyes.
"Eileen."
Tabor looked at the white and tender face of a newborn, and couldn't help but stretch out his finger and poke it gently.Feeling the soft touch from his fingertips, Tabor couldn't help but stretched out two more fingers and pinched the smooth skin, leaving red marks on it.
When Tabor realized what he had done, all he saw were two pairs of big eyes filled with tears.
"Bad Bibi actually made little master Erin blush. Bad Bibi wants to stop little master Tabor, but bad Bibi has no power to stop the masters from doing anything."
Listening to the house elf getting nervous, Tabor couldn't help but twitch the corner of his mouth.
"Okay, Bibi! I order you to stop! I won't touch little Irene anymore. And your voice will disturb Irene."
Tabor's serious order finally reminded Bibi that her little master was still in her arms. She quickly closed her mouth and looked at Tabor with aggrieved eyes.
Tabor suddenly felt as if he had done something outrageous, and turned around and left the room.
After standing in the corridor and hesitating for a while, Tabor went downstairs amid the whispers of the paintings hanging on the wall.
"Koko."
"Little master, what are your orders?"
"Give me a cup of black tea, and help me bring a casual book to the yard." Tabor said as he walked to an area outside the castle where a large-scale thermal insulation spell had been cast.
There is a small table and two comfortable-looking rocking chairs here. When you look up, you can see all kinds of potion materials jumping around in the garden.
"Okay, little master."
Koko quickly brought over what Tabor asked for, steaming Darjeeling black tea, a piece of exquisite cherry cake, and a stack of tomes.
Tabor glanced at these things, and the veins on his forehead jumped involuntarily.
"The little master likes cherries. Keke saw a cherry cake in the kitchen, so he brought it to the little master. The little master will be very happy."
Tabor listened to Keke's thoughts and shook his head helplessly: "Koko, I like cherry cake very much. But why do we need so many recreational books?"
With all my conscience, I really just want to have a good rest during the Christmas holiday!
"Koko doesn't know what book the little master wants to read, but this book "The Origin of Quidditch" is one that Koko heard from the portraits for entertainment, and the other books are the books that the little master likes to read. Old Master Koko is allowed to bring more books to the little master."
Tabor squinted his eyes. He heard an important message from Keke's words. He could read more books in Prince's library.
"Old master, do you have any other instructions?"
Keke nodded vigorously, her big ears almost hanging to the ground.
"The old master also said that the young master can use the No. [-] underground potion laboratory, and if there are any missing materials, Koko can go to the warehouse to get them."
"When grandpa told you this, did uncle know?" Tabor continued to ask after taking a sip of black tea.
"Yes, the master knows everything."
Tabor couldn't help but sigh. No wonder his uncle didn't want to see him.Without his nephew, even if his uncle had no talent, he would still be the only heir to the Prince family. The family might be silent for a while, but everything he has now will be his alone in the future.
"The arrow is on the string and must be fired."
Tabor shook his head to get rid of the messy thoughts in his mind. After all, I am still a child under 12 years old. Even if I really want to inherit the family, I will have to wait until after graduation.
At most, my grandfather's idea now is to hope that after he obtains the title of Potion Master, he can keep the Prince family's potion order.Otherwise, there would be no intention of letting his branch return to the family at all.
Maybe when she graduates, Eileen will be found to have considerable talent and can legitimately become the heir to the family!
Putting the "Quidditch Origins" aside, Tubo carefully looked through the potions book he had not read.
"Don't we need to try a few more times?" Tabor hesitated. He didn't expect that human experiments would begin so soon.
