Sent to Another World!

Chapter 7

Upon our arrival, we immediately planned the medical examination.
I summoned the medical truck and set up a medical station.
“This is…”
Alex froze at the sight of the medical station that appeared out of nowhere.
Then, accompanied by the maidservant and Sarina, the Duke’s wife and daughter were brought in.
“Lord Yoshinobu, this is my wife Fran and my daughter Frederica.”
“Nice to meet you. I am Yoshinobu, will perform the treatment. Let’s begin with the examination first. Please, come inside.”
With a brief greeting, I ushered the two of them into the examination room. The examination result was, as expected, both of them had contracted tuberculosis.
I handed them medicine and explained that they would need to take it continuously for six months.
Both of them seemed somewhat skeptical, but after hearing from the Marquis’s daughter, Sarina, they promised to give it a try.

A few days later, they came to express their gratitude after their body condition improved.
“As I said before, that doesn’t mean you’re fully cured. Make sure to take the medicine without fail. If you don’t, it might become incurable.”
I spoke sternly, but they assured me they would keep their promise.

“Thank you. With this, I won’t have to see the suffering faces of my wife and daughter anymore,” said Alex. Tears filled his eyes as he thanked me.

“Yeah… No one wants to see their own family members suffering either. I’m glad I could help,” I replied.

“Now, regarding preventive measures, would you perform them for everyone in this mansion?” Alex asked.
“Sure, but do you not want to verify it first?” I inquired.
“I’m not doubting you at this point. You can start with me,” Alex stated, trying to emphasize the trust he had in me.
From then on, Alex would be Yoshinobu’s supporter, in case someone doubted Yoshinobu.

Thus, everyone in the mansion received vaccinations.
Since the head of the household, Alex had taken it, no one rejected the option.
“Lord Alex, I’m grateful for your trust,” I said.

“No need to thank me, you helped my wife and daughter. There’s no reason to doubt you. Now, as a reward, please accept this payment,” Aleck said, trying to hand me a bag full of gold coins.
“I don’t need this much. I’m fine with just this amount. Please use the rest to help the people in your domain.”
I replied while taking a handful of coins from the bag and returning the rest.

“You’re such a modest person. Understood, I promise to use the rest for the improvement of the people’s lives in my territory.”

“Now, what do you think? Can you help others in the capital as well?” Aleck asked.

“I don’t mind at all. Helping many people also benefits me,” I replied.

“Is it for your own benefit, Mister Yoshinobu? Not for money?”
“Yes, helping people is more important to me than money.”
I had only sought to assist many people to advance my skills, but…

“Ooh… I must call you a saint from now on, Mister Yoshinobu. Very well, I understand. We will give our full support to you.”
Moved by my response, Alex offered his cooperation.

“There’s no need to call me a saint. I’m just doing what I want to do!”
I tried to avoid being labeled a saint, but Alex insisted.
And so, together with Alex, I headed to the capital.
