Self-insert-Harry Potter

"Where did she disappear! " My parents exclaimed.

"Into the bar Papa, Ma." I replied as a matter of fact.

"Which bar? I don't see any bar! " My dad asked.

" It's just front of us, must be magic, that's why you can't see it. Let's go together. " Saying I took their hands, on right my dad and on left my mom and together we enter the leaky cauldron.

My parents were amazed to find the leaky cauldron there as they cannot see the gate to it.

Inside was... well it's dark, dusty and there are many spider web there. Looking around I found lots of weird people, it does not looks like a place for children but it's a little hilarious so see these people dress like wizards well they are wizards but it's like a theme park which people are taking very seriously.

As we enter the bar, some people looked towards us, then they continue on whatever they are doing, no one enterrupted us as we make our way to the courtyard but the bartender Tom did greet Professor McGonagall with a good morning and a few others did it to,after all who knows how many people she has taught magic.

"Here we are, now pay attention Miss Adams you will need to know this as after today you have to open the way yourself." She said.

We are currently in the courtyard, it is a small space with a trash can and few weeds.In the wall she starts taping and saying..

" Now tap your wand three up and two cross." Is all she said and the brick starts to move making a way through it.

"Welcome to Diagonal Alley." She said.

But I am not listening anymore, I am just staring at the scene before me with my mouth open. The alley itself is magical and it's crowded and there are different shops selling different thing but I recover quite quickly because well it is magical,it is also backward, and I expected it. But my parents are still engrossed in it.

We start walking towards the Gingotts bank, it is the only building different from all the other buildings in Diagonal Alley. It is towering all the other buildings and it's white in colour and as I am having a inner monologue we have reached the out door of Gingotts, there is a goblin who bowed to us as we walk inside. The goblin was shorter than me in height, with pointy hand and feets, wearing soldier uniform, he is not athesticly pleasing to look at but I am very pleased to see him as it is first time I am looking at a magical begin other than witches and wizards. After the first door opens,a second door appears, it is a silver door and it has a warning written on it which I read.

Enter, stranger, but take heed

Of what awaits the sin of greed,

For those who take, but do not earn,

Must pay most dearly in their turn,

So if you seek beneath our floors

A treasure that was never yours,

Theif, you have been warned, beware

Of finding more than treasure their.

After entering the bank we exchanged money into gallons, and we our out of there.

"Do you have your letter with you?" McGonagall asked.

"Yes." I replied.

"So where do you want to start?" She asked again.

"Well we have to buy many things so let's first buy trunk so we can just keep everything that we buy in it." I said.

"Ok. To buy trunks 'Magical trunks, bags and suitcase by Friggs' is the best place." Said Professor McGonagall, as she guides us to the store.

The store was filled with bags and trunks and suitcase from top to bottom. As we enter the shop a bell rings informing the shopkeeper of the arrival of the customer, as the shopkeeper come running to us and starts talking.

" Welcome, how may I help you today?" He recited his well practiced line. But then he notices that we are with Prof. McGonagall.

"Oh Professor McGonagall, how are you? I see the you are guiding a new student again. " He goes on.

" Well yes, I am good. Miss Adams here would like your assistance." As she said the man turn toward me and ask with a big smile.

"So Miss Adams how can I help you today? "

" Well we were looking for trunks and school bags as you already know I am a new student." I said.

" Yes, yes. We sell the best stuff here. Their is a regular trunk, then their is trunk with compartments and enchanments and spells weave into it. Which one would you like?" He asked.

" Trunks with compartments! Does that means it has more space and which kind of spells? " I replied and asked.

"Yes it will have more space. Spells like featherweight, password locks,any kind you can think of. " He answered me.

" Well that's good. So I want a trunk with compartments, let's say six. And I want my initials E and A carve on it , oh and I want one compartments hidden. As for spells featherweight and password lock so only I can open my trunk." Thinking inside my head -one compartments for clothes, one for books, one for stationary and my personal hygiene materials -toiletries etc, one for potions materials and one for you know equipments which we have to bring and my hidden compartments for any and every thing I can think of like my treasure box. And continued saying "I also want a school bags a little bigger inside so my every book can fit in it and it does not bulging from outside also it has to come with featherweight charm and I want that box behind you, the silver one."

"Alright but let me tell you that box is gonna be expensive as it has expansion cham in it, and here you go - a trunk with six compartments, a school bag and the silver box." He said.

" Anything else?" He asked.

"No, oh how do I set the password." Then he showed me how to do it and we paid for it, though McGonagall looks says she does not approve of buying a child such experience things but my parents told her this is a one time thing as I keep my things nice and do not damage them.

After that we goes to buy robes for school.

" Now what do you want to buy?" McGonagall asks.

"Robes. As I think they will take time." I answered.

" Right, for robes Madam Malkins robes shop is where we go." After that she guides me there.

" Hogwarts dear? " The shopkeeper asked.

" Yes." I replied.

"Well go on stand on the stool." After that I got fitted for my robes. After getting fitted for my school robes, my mom and I decided to buy few wizarding clothes and I really like caps and they have many designs, so we bought some for me and mom. We decided to go clothes shopping tomorrow on muggle side as I will be gone for the whole year.

After robes we get my telescope, and in there I also bought pocket watch and an alarm clock as I will need them in school and a cool water bottle,if I want my water to be cold ,it will chilled it and if I want it hot or luke warm it will make the water warm, you know I always thought how do they go around without water and only drinking water in great hall in hp. Then we bought parchment and ink. I decided I will bring my fountain pen to school, I asked about it and McGonagall says I can write with it. And then we bought potion materials.

Then we goes to buy books in Flourish and Blotts. There my parents has to drag me out there as we do not much time, but I still bought many books which I will tell you about later.

After book shop we goes to pet shop, there I acquire a beautiful snow white owl, mind you I didn't take Harry's as there is three of snow whote owls.

" Name him Eva." My dad said.

Hmm what to name him, oh I know

"Morgan.From now on you are Morgan. " And my owl hoots as if to acknowledge it. Looks like he like it, good.

"Now we just have to buy my wand." I said.

McGonagall pointed towards a small, old shop.

In front of the shop it says 'Olivenders : Makers of fine wands since 382 B.C'.

And we goes inside...
