Self Insert As Superboy In My Hero Academia

Quite a lot more today at 4,065 words (nearly a double chapter).

“I assume he wants to meet?” I asked and she nodded. “Before or after my internship?”

“Before. He wants you to be a bridge to Endeavor.”

Coming to me for that made sense now. “I suppose you won't tell me where?”

“I can't. I know where it is and when to show up; but, I don't know the address.”

That was convenient. I thought. “You were going to meet up with me and take me there?”

“Yes. Sunday morning. Stop eight on your normal train ride.” She said. “It's a short drive from there and we will be there to protect you if anything happens.”

I immediately detected her heart fluctuating from the lie. “Well, you tell Max that if he sends idiots like your friends after potential recruits, he's just as stupid as them.”

She looked surprised by my words. “But... you... you're supposed to agree and...”

“I didn't say no.” I said and stood. “I guess the three of you will be there waiting for me?”

She nodded.

“All right. See you then.” I said and walked down the hallway. I felt her eyes on me until I reached the stairs, then I heard her trying to wake up her friends. I zoomed to my locker and thought about taking some school books, then shook my head and left everything. I wouldn't need to do any homework for two weeks and wouldn't bother to waste my time before then.

I ran to the school gates and walked to the train station. I thought about taking the train, even though it wasn't the normal one I usually took, then decided to sit and wait. I crossed my arms and closed my eyes to go over the events I could remember from the show I had watched. I didn't know any of the actual location names in Hosu City when the attack happens, so I was going to have to rely on Endeavor and Todoroki for that.

I huffed and leaned back on the bench. It was frustrating that I had to wait until I was at the hero agency before I could openly use my powers in public. Even then, we were supposed to be under a hero's supervision when we do... even if no other hero could keep up with me or stop me. That thought made me chuckle a little as I imagined Endeavor trying to hold me back as I slaughtered the Nomus.

I sat there for the rest of the homeroom class I should have been in and waited for Izuku to arrive. The time seemed to go really slowly and I opened my eyes to see that everything actually was moving a bit slower than normal. I checked over my thoughts and realized that my brain was operating a bit faster and it was perceiving things at a faster rate.

It was going to be very useful in difficult situations and also highly annoying in social ones. Having to wait for people to hurry up an speak normally was not something I needed in my life, so I started to practice with it to accelerate it and then to slow the process down. It took me a relative hour, even though only fifteen minutes actually passed.

It finally clicked in my mind that I could choose to see everything in slow motion or just focus on one thing and it would be normal. My heartbeat, the rays of sunshine, a leaf on the wind... I could make them pass by normally or I could slow them down in my perception to barely a crawl. I was sure that if I kept practising, I could potentially 'freeze time' like that and then be able to move through it.

I let my mind bring me back to normal time and smiled, just as several Shiketsu students arrived at the train station. I didn't see Izuku, though. I turned my head and used my x-ray and telescopic vision to see that he was being interrogated by several of the girls. Ming looked silent, though. I didn't bother trying to listen in as they walked towards the station.

Izuku said goodbye to them when they arrived at the entrance of the platform and walked over to me alone. “Thanks a lot, Connor.”

I chuckled as he sat down with a sigh. “My poor, poor best friend.” I said and put an arm over his shoulders. “I'm sorry that the she-wolves wouldn't stop hounding you.”

Izuku chuckled, too. “I kept telling them I didn't know you were going to do that and they wouldn't believe me.”

“They completely forgot that we've been too busy helping them all week to talk much.”

“I know! That's why Mei's so happy about tomorrow.” Izuku said. “I just hope Momo doesn't react badly to Mei's enthusiasm.”

I gave his shoulder a squeeze. “You do realize that Momo can literally make whatever parts she wants, as long as she has the chemical formula and the physical structure she wants it to be.”

“You mean like a picture or something?” Izuku asked.

“That could work, as long as it's not something that can be bought commercially.” I warned him. “I think Momo's a bit of a stickler for not making things that you can easily buy in a store.”

Izuku thought about that. “How does she practice making things if she feels that way?”

“She makes Matryoshka doll sets.” I said and his eyes nearly bugged out of his head.

“Are... are you kidding me? She really... her quirk...”

“Yeah.” I said. “They fully work, too. Right down to the rice grain size.”

“Okay. Wow.” Izuku said and didn't say anything else.

The train arrived and we boarded, still silent, and rode it all the way home without speaking. I had plans forming in my head and Izuku seemed a bit too stunned by my revelation about Momo to say anything. We stepped off at our stop and waved to each other before going our separate ways.

When I arrived at home, Lois was on the couch and stared at the television. She was watching herself give a report and she was making notes on a notepad.

“You're not really a good judge of yourself, you know.” I said and she laughed.

“I know. I'm harsher on myself than I need to be.” Lois said as I sat beside her. “Did you have a good day at school?”

I opened my mouth to respond automatically, then paused. Did I want to tell her?

Lois saw my hesitation and she put her notepad down to turn and gave me her interview look. “All right, spill it.”

I sighed. “The girls in class were appreciative of my efforts to make them look good for the agency scouts.”

“I knew that would happen, especially after learning what they believe you and Ming did.” Lois said. “That's not bothering you, though.”

“No, it wasn't. Not until one of the girls tried to get me to go out with her to trick me into dating Ming instead by switching at the last second.”

Lois caught her breath and her hands reached for my chest. “How could she do something like that?”

“I think she thought being there when Ming was dating me was better than me ignoring her.” I said with a shrug.

“Well, that's just stupid. You just haven't had the time to get to know her enough to ask out yet.”

I smiled. “I'm glad at least one person understands my thoughts.”

“What did you say to her?” Lois asked.

“Well, class was almost over and...” I told her about confronting them, announcing my decision, and then declaring that she should leave me alone.

Lois slid close and wrapped her arms around me to hug me and put her head on my shoulder. “I'm so sorry that you had to do that.”

“Me, too. Saida is a really nice girl and knows what she wants. I'm also sure that Nicola would have been a fun girl to date.”

“You were pretty bold to declare everyone off-limits.” Lois whispered.

“Only at Shiketsu Academy.” I said. “I have a double date with Momo, Izuku and Mei tomorrow at noon.”

Lois chuckled. “Please tell me you told them all that.”

“I did one better.” I said and explained about waiting for them to be close enough and then described the date I had with Momo, ruining their expectations, and then mentioned the date to them.

Lois laughed for several minutes before I even finished my story. “Good for you, Connor.”

“It did feel oddly satisfying.” I said and she lifted her head to look into my eyes. “I don't know if anything is going to happen with Momo, though. She's a nice girl and we do get along...”

“...you're not getting that spark like I had with Clark.”

I shook my head. “I'm not sure why, though. We have tons in common and I enjoy spending time with her. She's smart, the prettiest girl in UA, and she's rich.”

“You're wondering what's missing.” Lois said and I nodded. “Sometimes it's good to just be friends.”

I was quiet for a few moments. “Friends can still have sex.”

Lois barked a laugh and let me out of the hug. “You are not going to corrupt that reserved girl's expectations.”

“Is that an order?” I asked, teasingly.

“Yes, and if you don't follow it, I'll make sure you pay for it later.” Lois said with a wicked smile.

“I don't want to know how!” I joked and covered my eyes to make her laugh.

“Come on, I've got supper ready.” Lois said and we went to the kitchen to have a nice meal. We talked about little things until the food was gone and then Lois sighed. “He's killed another hero.”

I sighed as well. “There's nothing we can do about that.”

“Maybe I can start investigating and...”

“You will do no such thing!” I nearly growled at her using a stern voice.

“C-Connor!” Lois exclaimed and leaned slightly away from me.

“You are too precious to me to have you risk your life for that piece of garbage.” I said and stood. “Don't you dare go anywhere near that maniac, his old hiding spots, or even look at the rumors.”

Lois stared at me with wide eyes as I walked around the table. I put my hands on her shoulders briefly as I let the anger fade from my face and then I slid my hands up to cup the sides of her face.

“Promise me, Lois.” I begged. “I love you too much to risk losing you for a stupid story.”

“Connor, I... I can't just sit by and...”

“It's not your job to hunt them down. Not anymore.” I said and she looked surprised. “You did what you could for dad back then and I love you that much more because of it.” I leaned forward and gave her a very light kiss on the lips. “You did your best and we've all been safe for years because of your work.”

“I... Connor, do you mean...”

“I want you to give me the same promise I gave you. You are never to use your skills and abilities to hunt down and capture Stain to bring him to justice or get your friends and associates to do it for you.” I said and caressed her cheeks with my thumbs. “Please, promise me.”

Lois looked conflicted for several moments, then she closed her eyes and sighed. “I promise.”

“Thank you.” I said and bent down to hug her tenderly. “Please be careful for the next two weeks that I'll be gone.”

“Connor, I can take care of myself.” Lois said and hugged me back.

“If you need me, don't bother calling.” I said.

“Connor!” Lois gasped and pushed me away. “How could you say that?”

“You don't need the phone to contact me. Just shout my name.” I said and ran my fingers through her flowing black hair. “I'll be there almost instantly.”

Lois lost the indignant look and sighed. “Why almost?”

“I need a second to yell your name, so whoever I'm patrolling with will know where I'm going.” I said with a big smile.

Lois shook her head. “Go do your workout.”

I kept smiling. “Guess who broke their weighted backpack?”

Lois caught her breath and then smiled back. “Izuku?”

I snorted a laugh and stepped back to wave at the living room. “I suddenly have a free evening to spend it with the most beautiful woman in the world. Would she like to accompany me to the living room couch for some relaxing?”

Lois beamed a smile at me and stood. “You better mean me.”

“I could never mean anyone else with that description.” I said and put an arm around her waist to lead her to the couch. Her arm went around my waist and we slowly walked across the living room and sat down without moving our arms. It left us cuddled up on the couch and the remote was still on the coffee table next to her notepad and pen.

“I don't want to move to get it.” Lois said.

“Not a problem.” I said and held out my free hand towards it and the remote shot to my hand and I grabbed it.

“CONNOR!” Lois yelled.

“Ow.” I said and awkwardly rubbed my ear on that side. “Not so loud. Super-hearing, you know.”

“Connor.” Lois said in a deadly voice. “You will explain what just happened right now.”

“Okay.” I said and let the remote go to have it float in front of us, then used my telekinesis to push the buttons to change it to a channel with good programming for us to watch.

Lois just stared at the remote like it was going to explode.

“I learned a bit ago that my brain is so strong because of my quirk, that the electrical signals it sends can affect things outside of my body.” I explained and she turned that stare to me. “I have telekinesis.”

Lois sat there and kept staring.

I could almost see the thoughts going through her mind. “Go ahead and ask.”

“What other powers do you have?” Lois asked. “Clark had... a lot.”

I chuckled. “That's the thing. It's not multiple powers. It's multiple effects of the application of those powers.”

“Stop playing the semantics game, Connor.” Lois said, sternly.

“Sorry. I thought you were interviewing me to see if I had multiple quirks.” I said with a smirk.

Lois took a deep breath and sighed. “Just tell me.”

So I did. I went through the whole list, even the ones that no one really knew about. Super speed, super strength, focused and powered flight, unfocused sonic attacks if I yell hard enough, heat vision, telescopic vision, x-ray vision, microscopic vision, focused air manipulation from kicks and punches, super breath to blow things away, arctic breath to freeze things, superhuman healing, near invulnerability and getting stronger, super hearing, and leaping ridiculously long distances.

I also had higher than genius level intelligence, an eidetic memory where I could remember both information and what my senses told me at the time, super speed reading, super cognitive powers to understand nearly everything I read, touch telekinesis, limited external telekinesis depending on my concentration (I haven't really tested this too much yet), super stamina, and super smell.

Lois stared at me like she hadn't ever seen me before. “Connor... you... good god.”

“Yeah, I know.” I said and she cuddled in tighter. “Dad had most of those in some capacity. Oh! I can also hold my breath for about an hour and a half. I haven't had a lot of spare time to train that up.”

“You're wrong.” Lois whispered. “Clark, he... he didn't have half of those powers.”

I stiffened at her words and let her see the surprise on my face.

“It's true. He was strong, fast, could fly, had the x-ray vision and the heat vision, and high invulnerability and healing. The rest...” Lois shook her head. “He had average grades in school and struggled, probably because of his hearing and couldn't concentrate.”

I was stunned. I had thought that Clark would have access to everything, since I did. I sat there and thought about it and my brain sped up as everything around me slowed down. I spent a good ten minutes going over everything in my memories and realized that Lois was right. Clark almost never used his powers at home or showed that he had them at all.

“Wow.” I said as my brain let my perception go back to normal.

“That's my line.” Lois said as she looked into my eyes. “Wow, Connor. Just... wow.”

We sat there and stared into each other's eyes for an unknown amount of time. We didn't say anything at all and the television we were supposed to watch was completely forgotten.

“We... we should... go to bed.” Lois whispered. “You have to get ready in the morning for your date.”

I nodded and we untangled our arms from around each other and stood.

Lois stretched after sitting like that for so long and I was sure that she didn't realize that she looked so sexy doing it. She took my hand and led me from the living room to the hallway where our rooms were. She let my hand go and turned to face me.

“Goodnight.” Lois said.

“Goodnight.” I said and waited for a moment, then I turned and walked to my bedroom door.

“Connor?” Lois asked and I turned to look at her. “You're not up to your full strength yet, are you?”

“Not even close.” I said back. “All of my powers are only on the smaller scale and I need to keep training them. I also need to figure out how to keep weight training without revealing I'm using my quirk.”

Lois opened her mouth to say something, then she closed it and gave me a smile. “I'll look into it.”

I didn't want to burden her, so I spoke. “Don't go buying some ridiculous thing that I can't use or might only last me a week. Talk to me first and we can discuss things, all right?”

Lois laughed softly and rolled her eyes. “Yes, dear. I won't spend my money without your permission.”

“Good! I'm glad you understand.” I said with a huge grin on my face.

Lois lifted her fist and shook it at me. “You're asking for it!”

I laughed. “I love you, too.”

“Get to bed.” Lois said and opened her bedroom door.

“See you in the morning.” I said and entered my room as she entered hers and both of our doors shut at the same time. After a minute, Lois spoke.

“Connor? Can you hear me?” Lois asked. “Knock on the wall if you can.”

I knocked twice on the wall, making sure she heard it.

“Do you listen to me a lot?” Lois asked. “Once for yes, twice for no.”

I knocked once... then knocked twice.

Lois chuckled. “I got it. Yes and no.”

I knocked once.

“Connor, I... you are...” Lois sighed. “I think you're the best thing that's ever happened to me.” She said and leaned against the bed as she started to take off her blouse. “You let me do my job without complaint, encourage me when I feel down, and warn me when something is too dangerous.”

I knocked once... then twice more.

“When have you not done that?” Lois asked, surprised.

I knocked a bunch of times in a row and she laughed.

“Stop. Stop!” Lois said, amused. “I'll only ask yes and no questions.”

I knocked once as she took off her dress pants.

Lois stood up and turned towards my room. “Are you looking at me right now?”

I knocked once.

“Do you look a lot?” Lois asked.

I knocked once... then twice more.

“Is that because I'm hard to resist?”

I knocked once.

Lois was quiet as she thought about that. “Do you... do you like what you see?”

I knocked once... then twice more.

“Why? Why yes and no?” Lois asked and turned away from me. “Why?”

I was instantly through both bedroom doors without breaking them and I was across the distance between us as I hugged her from behind. “I can't only like what I see when I look at you. I love you.”

Lois had tears in her eyes. “Connor...”

“I hate that I can't touch you like you deserve. I also can't tell you that you drive me crazy with how sexy you are, even when you're wearing those god-awful baggy beige pants.”

Lois huffed and then laughed softly as she wiped at her face. “I bought them for you.”

“That makes it much worse.” I said. “I can't even see your ass when you bend over, you know. It's such a travesty!”

Lois barked a laugh and nodded. “I was wondering if you would ever say anything.”

“I wanted to. Every damn time.” I admitted. “I didn't want you to be self-conscious about it, though. If they were comfortable for you and you wanted to wear them, I wasn't going to tell you not to.”

Lois turned around in my arms and looked up into my eyes. “You were thinking of me?”

“I always think of you. Everything I do, I consider what you would think about it.” I said. “I mean, you won't let me rub your feet for more than a couple of minutes...”

“I hate my feet!” Lois spat.

“I don't!” I spat right back, which surprised her. “They are your feet.” I said in a calmer voice. “Even if they were covered in boils and scaly skin, I would still offer to rub them for you after a long day on your feet.”

Lois let out a soft sigh. “You're completely biased.”

“I completely am.” I said. “Now it's you that has to get to bed. We have an early morning date worrying session to prepare for.”

Lois nodded. “You don't watch me change completely, do you?”

“No.” I said and then smiled. “Not all the time.”

“Why not?” Lois asked.

“Sometimes I forget to look and miss it.” I said with as innocent of a face as I could.

Lois laughed and shook her head. “Keep your eyes to yourself from now on. I don't need to think about what you're actually seeing when I'm... doing things.”

I was smart and kept my mouth shut. I did not ask her what things she meant, like masturbating or shaving herself. I nodded several times to show that I agreed.

“Thank you.” Lois said and gave me a particular look.

I couldn't tell what it was, then she stood on her toes and gave me a quick kiss on the lips.

“Goodnight.” Lois said and pointed at her open bedroom door.

“Goodnight.” I said and then gave her a crooked smile before I disappeared from her room and shut her door without breaking it. I was back in my room a split second later and stripped off, had a practically instant shower, and had my underwear on before I climbed into bed and laid down.

“You're not looking, are you?” Lois asked.

I could tell she was a lot closer and I tapped the wall I could reach, twice.

My door opened and Lois stood there to see me in bed. She had slipped on a nightgown and I turned to look at her.

“Is that new?” I asked.

Lois smiled and nodded. “What do you think of it?”

“Do you want an old joke or the truth?” I asked.

“Both.” Lois said, probably thinking that she had me in a trap. How could I joke and compliment her?

“The only way that could look better is if it was discarded on my floor.” I said, completely honestly.

Lois opened and closed her mouth a couple of times, then her face flushed bright red as she blushed. She turned around and closed the door without saying a word.

Wow, I made the famous Lois Lane speechless. I thought with a mental chuckle and rolled over to face away from the door. If she came back in, I didn't want her to see the smile on my face.
