Chapter 14
Cha Aera sat with the team leads at her company to discuss a new product launch at a spot they were able to nab in a busy mall at Cheongdam-dong. In the room was Team Leader Yoo (Creative Design), Team Leader Mak (Sales), Team Leader Noe (Product Developer) and Team Leader Sa (Consumer Happiness)
"ZelloAM has given us a go ahead to set up a stand at one of their slots. President Cha what products do you want to push?"
35 year old Mak Ji-su the team leader of the sales floor and the only man in the roomful of woman sought the opinion of his boss whom he relied on to do the job that he loved so much. His purpose at work was to always without fail exceed the goal for the sales team.
"Team Lead Mak, what do you mean by which product? You have over 5 years of sales experience and you still need the President to tell you what to do? You people at the sales team must have it easy. Tsk!"
"That's not how to speak to a team leader, Ms. Noe! Sales is not an easy job to do, stress can cause burnout and an unhappy worker can not do their job well. Good job Team Leader Mak!"
Sa Ji-u the oldest of them winked at her male colleague as she cheered him on for being good at his job. Noe Eun-ju the team leader that was scolded by her co-worker wasn't all too pleased by what had transpired and she let the two know by sending them a dirty look.
"Team Leader Yoo how is the new web page coming?"
"I already finished the layout, President Cha. You can take a look to see if there is any thing you need me to add or remove from there."
Yoo Ji-min got up from her seat to show Cha Aera the newly designed page of their company's website.
"Team Leader Yoo, the valentine concept works for me. That was an excellent execution."
Cha Aera began clapping for Yoo Ji-min, shy by nature the 28 year old couldn't hide the blush that stained her cheeks. Her colleagues also joined their boss in congratulating her on her new accomplishment.

Shin Nari returned to her rooftop apartment to pack her belongings to her new home at Cha Aera's. While she was about to carry her silver travelling bag she heard a loud pounding at her door.
"Miss. Shin! I know you are in there! Open the door!"
Shin Nari hastened to release the bolt on the door and soon enough the door was yanked open by her visibly angry landlady.
"Good morning Mrs. Heo, what brings you to my place?"
Shin Nari smiled warmly as she gave pleasantries to Heo Bora, the landlady of the apartment.
"I saw your text that's why I came to see for myself if you are really moving! You wicked thing! Didn't your parents teach you manners that you need to give sufficient notice before vacating the premises?!"
"I'm sorry Mrs. Heo but I got a job at such short notice and I didn't have any other choice but to break my lease. The apartment is fully furnished, you can come and see for yourself. Whoever that moves in doesn't need to do much."
Shin Nari stepped aside to let the landlady through who looked as though she had hurriedly put together a heavy set of mismatched long sleeved shirt and pant and an open toed slippers.
"My dear, why didn't you tell me this on the text message? I'll have your deposit money and part of your leftover lease money wired to your account today without fail."
Heo Bora mellowed down when she saw the neat interior that looked ready to move in. She grinned from ear-to-ear at the surprising find which would raise the value of the apartment and ultimately making her more money in the process.
"Thanks Mrs. Heo, if you don't mind I have to be on my way."
"May you be successful in your new job and when you have settled down don't forget to pay me a visit!"
"Thanks and see you next time Mrs. Heo."
In a white trenchcoat jumpsuit and blue sandals, Shin Nari tucked her chin-length hair behind one of her ears that had a gold threader earring. Muscling her way through the narrow stairs she almost tripping as she dragged her silver travelling bag down. Almost out of breath and sweating she eventually made it downstairs to hail a cab.
