Chapter : Prologue
For some unknown reason , in the depths of space a war rages and this war is between the giant space gods known as the celestials against their rivals known only as the Aspirants,
the battle transcends space-time and for some reason it ends up in Earth's orbit just as one unknown celestial is being killed, the celestial explodes into several pieces before it starts hurtling towards the planet.
due to the sheer size of this massive thing its debris colliding with earth would mean an extinction level event for the planet and because of that the world's heroes are summoned.
they do their best to stop as many of the biggest pieces of the celestial's massive body from impacting the planet, however what that meant was that the small pieces were neglected as their impact wouldn't be that severe,
that very judgement would prove to be their gravest mistake as a portion of the celestial that would work as its memory bank shrinks just as it descends this is because the celestial had gone into self preservation, because of this its memory bank was ejected from its body and sent somewhere safe,
its power core was sent to the deepest point of the planet. as the memory bank passed the heroes it was nothing more than an American football. as it descended it shrunk more and more until it reached the city below it.
this was the city of Whitehaven, a young freshman was on his way out when his attention got captured by the glowing star falls and the heroes stopping them from reaching down,
it however was at that very instant that small pieces started falling to the ground, a crystalline piece the size of a tennis ball arrived just before him but just before it landed on the ground like a bomb it actually stopped moving.
It levitated for a few moments losing all its momentum before it finally landed on the ground this effect surprised him as it would mean either someone stopped it or it had a magnetic field of its own that stopped it from impacting the ground.
Either way it was interesting to him so he looked around to see if anyone had seen it and before him but all he saw were people running around in panic. Since no one had stopped it for him he claimed it for himself.
As such he bent down and picked it up before dashing inside his hostel room to further examine his new acquisition.
