Scarlet Warlock Of Dc

Chapter 6: Chapter 6: Goodbye

Sitting on the Bioship looking at the serious faces of my teammates made me think about my plan.

Was this the right thing to do? Even though everyone looks at me differently, I can see them calm down, day by day.

Doubts started to pile up in my mind as I doubted my plan. Then his mind flashed with what he had gone through when he lost control. It showed him his sister killed herself.

When he watched so many of his friends and family die when it was not yet their time. Every day he watched the news to see another murder, and another person dying such cruel deaths.

It was far worse in this universe. News of Joker escaping his Asylum and killing 5 kids, because they liked superman more than batman made him realize something.

He had the ability, or at least the potential to stop all this, and what was he doing. Doubting whether staying for more training or going out on my own is a good choice.

Solomon's thoughts calmed, as his resolve hardened. He had a plan, and that was happening today.

As we landed, I already knew how this was going to go, Robin would disappear by himself, and Wally would speed off, like a hyperactive kid. We were not a team, and we barely acted like one.

Solomon's plan was not too complicated. He had started it a few days ago.

Solomon sat in his room contemplating what to do next. He had been reminded of what he had wanted to do in the beginning. It was time to start taking action. Solomon thought as he contemplated on what to do.

Eventually he came up with a plan. The first thing he had to do was Study. Dc was filled with technology that far surpassed his previous life. With his new, and largely improved intellect, it would be stupid not to use it to its fullest potential.

Then he had to get information. Though he had not watched young justice, there were many edits, and short videos that informed him about his next mission. It would give him the chance to escape.

Then he had to go to Gotham, and try to make money. With it he would create his own fortress of solitude, and he could go on from there.

Solomon sighed as he knew what he had to do.

The quiet and dark forest did not hinder Solomon as he looked around. He had to separate from the group as quickly as possible. Though he knew about the mission, he had not watched the show, and so he did not know what happened.

The hardest people to escape from would probably be his brother. His super hearing was an obstacle that might be difficult to deal with.

That did not matter as he was prepared for this very moment. He started to float, trying to make as little noise as possible. He knew his brother had not developed his super hearing to the point of hearing hearts, so nobody noticed as Solomon disappeared.

Ever since his fight with superboy, he had awakened many of his kryptonian abilities. His strength, speed, durability, and senses were beyond his imagination. He knew he was no were near superman, but he had far surpassed superboy.

He had also awakened his biological aura. This not only brought increased defences, but he could now fly. It felt so natural to him, like he had been doing it for ages.

The only ability he had not unlocked was laser vision. He knew that the only reason why that was, was because he had not stored enough solar energy.

Now he had to make it to the Cobra base first, and steal as much as he could. He hoped they had money, as it was what he needed most right now, but if he didn't, then he could just steal their special blockbuster serum that was permanent.

With it, he could reengineer a better serum, and starting his own team might not be far away. He could not be everywhere at once after all.

Khadur, Superboy, and Megan were alone. Khaldur sighed as he was walking forward. They were ordered to do a simple recon, but Wally and Robin had run off. He knew that Robin had trained under Batman, and so he acted like he was working with batman.

Wally on the other hand, had already disappeared, and now it was only the four of us left.

"Hey Scarlet, do you hear anything"

Khaldur asked for nothing.

"Scarlet..Scarlet!"

Khaldur shouted as the three looked around, noticing that Solomon was missing. "I guess we're down to three"

Superboy said as he stopped looking around. Though it seems like we are not alone. Superboy had noticed a group of guards coming their way.

"It's no surprise that we were caught"

Khaldur muttered as he felt slight irritation from what was happening. It seemed like they would do a lot more than just a simple recon mission.

Solomon had not taken long to Cobras base. Confident in his abilities, Solomon calmly started to walk to the front door. He was confident that no matter what these guards had, he would be unaffected. They did lose to the young Justice after all.

Immediately the guard's guardian noticed him. They all pointed their guns at the mysterious man that seemingly came out of nowhere.

"Stop, what are you doing here"

One guard shouted as Solomon kept on walking. His face was calm, but he was preparing himself for what he was about to do.

His calm demeanor scared the guards, as one of them shouted for them to shoot. An endless rain of bullets rained upon Solomon, not slowing his movement down a little. Solomon did not bother to dodge, as he saw hundreds of these slow moving projectiles being fired at him.

He knew that all of them had been killed before, as their heart beats were calm when they started shooting. Now they were pounding with fear as Solomon got closer.

Eventually one of them ran out of bullets, as Solomon decided that he would be the one. At incomprehensible speeds for the normal eye, Solomon had closed the gap on a man that was trying to reload his gun.

Solomon could see the fear in his face as he realized Solomon was in front of him. Solomon raised is fist as he put power into his blow. Power he knew could kill a normal person.

Solomon saw as his hands easily passed through the skull of a man in slow motion. Solomon felt no resistance as he watched the man's head explode in slow motion. His skull fragments burst out into different directions, as his blood got on his face.

He could have dodged it, but he didn't. He needed to do this now, or else his resolve would be too weak.

The other criminals had no time to think as blood had splashed on all those who were closest to the man. His body stood still as his muscles waited for information from the brain that no longer existed.

Eventually the man fell as everyone went into a panic. Those closest to Solomon tried to run, but were not given the chance as his hands cut their head off like a blade. Solomon did not think of what he was doing as he used his powers to read the thoughts of these criminals.

One man had raped a 14 year old child as she was walking home from middle school. The man had stalked the girl for 2 days before making his move. Solomon processed the information at impossible speeds.

His brain had also evolved with him, and was constantly growing. To those around him he only looked like he was standing still for about 2 seconds before something changed about him. It was like a switch had been turned off as Solomon no longer looked at them like they were even human.

No, they were less than the bacteria on their ass. Solomon till then had been going for the head. He had tried to kill them instantly, but would no longer hold himself back anymore.

A red barrier covered the area the criminals were in as some banged on it to no avail. Solomon looked at one man as scarlet energy covered him. The man screamed as he was lifted in the air. Everyone watched as Solomon raised him high.

This was the man that had raped a child, just because they looked like his ex-girlfriend. Solomon twisted his limbs one by one. Squeezing them like a towel, until blood sprayed fell like rain on everyone on the barrier.

The unadulterated screams of the man sent chills down the spines of the criminals. The man started to go crazy as he begged for death. Solomon remembered as the child had begged the criminal to stop just the same way. His anger increased as another scream was heard as a large amount of blood started forming between the man's pants.

Solomon had crushed the man's future, as he had crushed a child's innocence. The screaming started to get annoying though as Solomon encased him in a bubble. The bubble slowly closed as the man's bones were crushed and his screams eventually silenced.

Many of the people there were hard criminals or mercenaries, as they had experienced the darkness of the world. But the good like being who was floating above them, scarlet energy covering his body, as blood dripped down his face.

He seemed like a devil that came to judge them for their sins. Many had either peed themselves or had given up as Solomon showed no mercy. He slaughtered the rest of the criminals with cold efficiency as red lasers were shot from the air in different directions.

Solomon no longer needed his hand to aim, all he needed was to know who to aim at. It had gone quiet as Solomon looked at what he had done. He gave no time for himself to regret or think about his actions as he punched the front gate, breaking it with ease.

There were dozens of criminals in here as they all looked at Solomon with shock. The familiar stench of blood wafted into the room as many realized what had happened. Solomon stood there for a few seconds, trying to find one person that did not deserve to die. He knew that if such a person existed, then his resolve might waver, he did not.

Solomon had immediately appeared in front of a man. He knew a lot about this man. He was 38 years old, he had a son and a wife. He had killed both of them, because his wife made him pay child support. He slowly tortured the son, because he was annoyed from all the crying he did when he was a child.

Solomon did not hesitate to put is fist into the man's chest. Ripping out his heart as his body fell to the ground. Fresh blood covering the blood of old, as he stood there like a menacing demon, looking for retribution.

Solomon was looking into the abyss of the world, and not only did it look back, it smiled. Solomon had not noticed yet, but his power was growing stronger as he read the mind of some of the worst humans he had ever met. His emotions were being riled up, and that affected his powers.

A cacophony of gunshots could be heard as the criminals shot at the perceived monster. Solomon knew that, and decided it was what they deserved.

Three people lost their faces as a laser 4 inches thick, and wide pierced their skull. The burning of flesh was mixed with the stench of blood causing chaos. As the chaos unfolded, Solomon noticed that the more chaos he caused, the more he felt a wall within him was being hit.

It seems like he was going to awaken another ability, and all he needed to do was cause chaos. Solomon noticed the irony of trying to bring peace and order with chaos, but he did not care.

Solomon flew through people as many criminals dropped. Some tried to run through the hole Solomon made, but all were boxed in.

Many more kept coming as Solomon found more and more creative ways to kill his enemies. He found out that as he fought, he got much stronger with his chaos magic compared to just training. He had created a blade so thin the person cut would not realize until they slowly split apart.

He no longer had only concussive attacks anymore. He had recreated hulks clap, that creates force so great that it could destroy buildings. Though not that strong, it was still strong enough to kill 10 people at once.

As Solomon was killed he heard a familiar heart beat. He knew he was being watched, and who it was. This was part of the plan though as he had wanted to separate from the League completely.

As Solomon was crushing skulls, he actually felt something. A grey monster was looking at him as another punch was coming his way. Solomon stood there, as his body did not budge. He could have easily dodged, or immediately killed the thing in front of him, but he didn't.

He was planning on letting some people escape. He wanted to show them that he was more than just a man. He is the incarnation of all the tortured souls who died undeservedly, and was now here to bring CHAOS.

He had made a small hole in his barrier that let three people escape. He felt as the hope of these people sparked as he had opened the hole the moment he was hit. He then closed immediately after, as he was hit again without budging.

He felt the despair pour in again as he looked coldly at what punched him.He decided that they would be a good experiment for what he was about to do.

Solomon knew nothing about magic, but he also knew that what he was using was magic. It was one of the most primal of all magics, Chaos. All his techniques were from his imagination, so what if instead of imagining blasts and force fields he imagined elements.

He had of course already tried this in the base, but it didn't work. Though here, he instinctively felt like it was different.

Solomon raised his hand as a ball of pure chaos magic was produced. He then thought of what he wanted to do. He wanted to burn all the vermin in this place. To purify it of all the filth with pure fire.

The chaos energy transformed to his will as his rage was manifested into will. Such intense heat started to affect everyone in the room. Their skin burning to show the muscle underneath.

The heat of that small ball was almost as hot as the surface of the sun. Solomon was unaffected by his creation as he marveled at its work. Solomon was reminded of one of the animes of his old world, Seven Deadly Sins. He immediately jumped up, and threw his miniature looking sun as it hit the ground.

A bright explosion happened, but it did not escape the building as Solomon's barrier was still up.

Solomon slowly floated down as he scanned the building for any life. The only one left was the one hiding in the vent. He knew it was robin. He also knew all of this was recorded, but he did not care.

Solomon also heard three footsteps coming his direction. Robin had also decided to leave, as he had also seemed to notice the team.

Change P.O.V

Superboy and the group ran as they noticed a fire up ahead. They had met back up with wally and defeated a couple of random guys running in the woods. As one of the men offered us a deal, I heard an explosion up ahead. Then smoke started to come up. We knew it was the bad thing that we were supposed to investigate,so we ran over there. I smelled it first, it was pungent as it permeated the air. The smell of blood and burning flesh. We reached the busted front gates only to see a robin running at us.

His face pale as he seemed to have lost all color to his face.

"What happ-"

"Solomon"

Robin answered in a quiet voice.

"What"

"Are you sure"

I asked as I knew Solomon was not a killer.

"He killed everyone inside too"

"Maybe it was mind control"

Megan added as I immediately got mad that my brother was being controlled. He knew what it felt like when someone took away your freewill.

They ran in only to be hit with the smell of burnt human stench. It was so strong that they reflexively put their arms around their nose. Burnt bodies littered everyone as they saw only one man standing in the middle of it all.

A hole had been made in the roof as Solomon had not created a barrier on it. The moon shone behind it as his cold eyes fell upon his team. Fear immediately filled them as they realized that Solomon killed all these people. Superboy on the other hand did not believe so.

"Let him go"

Superboy shouted as Solomon's face stayed the same. This experience had changed him, and though he loved his brother, he knew he had to do this.

"Its me brother"

Superboy went quiet as he looked into Solomon's eyes. He knew it was his brother, but he had changed.

"W…why"

Superboy could not comprehend how or why Solomon could do something like this.

"I read the minds of all these people. Every crime, cruelly, every life stolen, in the name of greed, power, and pleasure was laid bare for me to see."

"You know they called me a monster when I crushed their skulls, and caved in their chests. They wanted me to play by the rules. I capture them, they escape, kill, and we start all over again. The wound that you Heroes try to patch is infected, and I need to cut it out."

Solomon slowly floated to the sky as he heard all the voices on the island. These people never faced any real consequences from their actions.

Dozens of balls filled with chaos energy appeared in the sky creating a sight so beautiful that most looked up at it in a daze.

"It's time I bring true Judgement"

Solomon said as he whispered the name of his attack

"Judgement eclipse."

Dozens of lasers fired, killing every criminal on the island at an astonishing speed. It was not long before everyone died. Solomon's attacks soon dissipated. He looked at his brother and said something he himself did not expect to say.

"Brother this is where our paths divide, you might hate me, but no matter what…"

Solomon stopped before flying away.

Few minutes Later

Tornado arrived to see the traumatized faces of the team he was supposed to be taking care of. Robin had explained everything as they looked at superboy.

Superboy stood under the moonlight as he did not know what to feel. The sun was coming up very soon, but he did not care.

He had sun bathed with his brother, and now he was gone. His only family had left him. His rage started to grow as the sun peaked out. The ground cracked as Superboy's senses were flooded with too much information.

That did not affect him as his rage blocked out everything. Superboy had finally gained what he had wanted so badly, but now he had lost what was most important to him.

Thank you for reading this far. This chapter was slightly rushed so there might be a lot of spelling mistakes. I have no editor, and I'm trying to keep produce 1 chapter every 2-3 days. So Solomon finally left the team, and now the story can start. I hope you can keep reading and enjoy.
