Enchanted forest, home of the seven dwarves

The dwarves were a hardy people, capable of working for hours on end, slaving away in their mines as they searched for precious stones and valuable ores. Unfortunately, this diligence and skill didn't really translate to culinary skills meaning that their cooking was usually only something they tolerated to survive – food was a mere necessity and not a pleasure. Grumpy would say that the only reason a dwarf would even bother to eat food or sleep was so that he could mine some more afterward…so as one could imagine, the dwarves were blown away by Snow's cooking (even if it was just a pot of soup). They didn't even look up from their respective bowls to talk to Naruto and Snow during dinner, so absorbed in their quest to stuff their faces and fill their bellies. Naruto smirked as he noticed Grumpy's wide eyed expression as he took his first reluctant taste only to be taken back by the explosion of flavor in his mouth. Dinner was a quiet affair, all things considered.

When everyone was done with dinner, the dwarves then wanted to show their appreciation for Snow's efforts and huddled together to discuss how to do so. Meanwhile, Naruto then turned to Snow, who looked curious as to what would happen afterward.

"Look alive Snow – looks like the dwarves are about to put on a show for us. Good food has yet to fail in bringing out the best in people!" Naruto said as Snow giggled (she noticed how the dwarves had voraciously consumed her cooking after all).

"Oh? Are they going to sing a song or dance a little jig?" She asked as Naruto looked towards the dwarves for a second before shaking his head.

"Nah-I don't think they could even dance with the full bellies they have – I think they will treat us to a musical number of some kind." Naruto said as the dwarves turned to them with a merry demeanour about them.

"Alright lassie – since you made us a scrumptious meal that has blown everything we've tasted in over forty years out of the water, we've decided to sing a little song we came up with. It's called The Silly Song – you can thank Happy for that name…" Doc said as the dwarves surrounded Snow and Naruto and started singing. Naruto was a little shy at first when Doc shoved him lightly into Snow, the two looking into each other's eyes as they blushed faintly while they danced together (Bashful looked a little sad at that but couldn't deny that they made a cute couple). After the song was completed, Naruto then turned to the dwarves and scolded them for trying to 'push' him onto Snow (he knew Doc was up to something – that devious old man really wanted to see him squirm). After scolding them to his satisfaction, he then looked towards Snow, only to balk at her excited expression.

'Oh no. I know that look – she's about to break into song again. How come everyone I know can sing unprompted with no rehearsals or even song writing? Come to think of it, how do people know the lyrics of every song to be capable of even singing along??!!' Naruto thought exasperatedly, looking on as Snow then sang her own song in return.

What he didn't account for was the song itself – she called it 'Someday My Prince Will Come' – the song wasn't bad but he wished she didn't look directly at him while she sang certain parts of the song (he was positively elated that she liked him but he didn't want to give Doc and Happy any more teasing material…). After she finished singing her song, Doc then grabbed her hand and started to speak, settling their residence situation out. The dwarves would sleep downstairs and make do with what they had – they would leave the upper floor to Snow. However, that left the question of where Naruto would stay.

"So Naruto, where are you going to stay? I'd invite you to bunk with me and my brothers but you're no longer that little boy so our small home wouldn't house you…a right pickle we've found ourselves in here!" Doc said as he stroked his beard pensively, the other dwarves looking apologetic and Snow looking on worriedly. Naruto just smiled triumphantly though, thumbing his nose with a roguish grin.

"You're right about one thing – I am not that little kid anymore. In my time as Snow's protector, I learned how to use my magical powers! I call it chakra – the name came to me in a dream and while I haven't figured out how to do most of the things I've dreamt about, allow me to show you a nifty trick I can do!" Naruto said as he stepped back a few paces and put his hands together in a strange way.

"Henge no Jutsu!" He exclaimed as his form exploded in a massive plume of white smoke, Snow squealing in surprise and the dwarves knocked on their butts in shock. As the smoke cleared, Snow then started blushing furiously (Naruto was one delicious hunk before but now he appealed to a whole 'nother sense – the Achilles heel of most females, the cute factor).

"So? What do you think – pretty slick right? Now the queen can't find me and I can stay close to Snow in case anything happens!" Naruto said as his form came into view. He was now a dwarf – with a few key differences – he had orange hair and bushy muttonchops, his whisker marks now two red horizontal marks on his cheeks instead. He was still as muscular as his original form – his diminutive height doing wonders for the emphasis on his build(cue more blushing from Snow, realizing that even this form of Naruto could entice her…she was beginning to think that too much romance could overwhelm anyone - even her…it would be difficult to restrain herself in the future).

"What was that laddie! Yer now a dwarf?! How did you do that?!" Doc said, fumbling his words due to this flabbergasting development. Naruto chuckled at their expressions as he explained the nature of the Transformation Jutsu.

"Another bonus of this form is that I can join you guys in the mine! I also have another trick involving clones…" Naruto mused as the dwarves' eyes lit up with greed, thinking of an entire army of dwarves making quick work of the mine they were slaving away on their whole lives. Grumpy even grinned a little, rushing forward and shaking Naruto's hand enthusiastically, Snow chuckling at his antics.

Now having resolved everything, they all decided to retire for the night, Snow giving Naruto a good night kiss (on the cheek, unfortunately) as she went upstairs.

Meanwhile, back with Queen Grimhilde…

Grimhilde fancied herself a patient woman – she waited for a whole day, thinking that Naruto would return to the castle after he cooled off. However, it was now midnight and the castle staff reported that Naruto had not been sighted in the castle and town grounds so she was more than a little miffed. Pacing in agitation in her bedroom, she turned to the mirror as she was at a loss at what to do.

"Mirror, what do I do? Naruto has yet to return and I do not know where he could hide in the forest! Surely the death of Snow White has become wide spread news by now…" She said as the mirror hummed in contemplation before adding its two cents.

"Perhaps the man has found clues pertaining to Snow's death? Have you checked the box that your huntsman delivered to you – mayhap the girl still lives as she is the personification of purity? She may have swayed the heart of Humbert before he could deal the finishing blow."

"Impossible! I cannot open the box – it will be a ritual battery for my black magics. However, I can merely invoke your powers to search for the girl's location and status. Now, mirror, mirror, on the wall – who is the fairest of them all?"

The magical command now given, the Mirror then closed its eyes for a second before opening them in surprise.

"Alas my queen, my suspicions were correct – the fairest is Snow White as she still lives."

"What?! Humbert, that bumbling fool! I'll have him flogged to an inch of his life! But first, where is that wench hiding from me? Reveal to me her refuge so that I may plan accordingly." Grimhilde said, frustrated that such a naïve girl had managed to escape death two times over, surviving an assassination attempt as well as the survival challenge that the forest presented. As she mulled over that insane luck, she suddenly had a thought that made her blood run cold – did Naruto find the girl? If he did, he would probably never return as he would elope with Snow and leave the kingdom (of course, if he didn't come back to exact justice – she entertained no illusions about beating him in a direct confrontation since he could beat her easily. Her expertise was deception and subterfuge, not martial arts…).

The Mirror then changed; its face disappeared – in its place was a swirling mass of dark energy that slowly cleared to reveal Snow White talking with eight dwarves in a cottage within the Enchanted Forest. She looked happy and well-fed which really irked the queen (nothing seemed to faze the girl it seemed…).

"So, she is alive and in good company. Hmmm…this requires a delicate touch. As the saying goes, if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself!" She said as she walked down some stairs in her personal tower, straight to her laboratory (convenient room planning – another perk of royalty). She then summoned her magic while preparing a potion, humming a malicious tune all the while. She mixed all sorts of stuff in the cauldron, things which no sane person would as her magic was laced into the potion, turning the muddy liquid into a cool purple liquid with a faint miasma coming off it.

"Ah, here it is – the potion of Living Death. Truly a marvel of alchemy and potioneering, this concoction can, with but a taste, put an individual into a deep sleep. So deep in fact, that their slumber will be mistaken for death! Now after applying a few drops of this potion – three should do – onto certain food like an apple for instance will be the perfect way to trick Snow into partaking of this poison! Ha! I can see it now, those foolish dwarves will bury the fool thinking her dead!" She cackled, holding a poisoned apple aloft in triumph.

"Now, I will need a disguise. I can't approach her as I am so I will need to assume a form that is as unassuming and pitiful as possible. Oh I know! I shall turn into an old woman - a kind old crone that 'just' so happens to be wandering through the woods alone (Snow was rather gullible so she'd try to help her instead of finding it suspicious)."

The queen then cast her magic again, her form glowing with a gray light before it died down, revealing her new form – an ugly old woman. Her face was wrinkly and her nose large, her body covered in warts and sores (truly a disgusting look). Having completed all her preparations, she then made her way to the dwarves cottage (in her current form, she'd get there by the morning of the next day).

Her plan looked foolproof but she had made one fatal mistake – in her outrage over Snow White's survival, she forgot to ask the mirror about where Naruto was.

Oh well…hindsight is 20/20 after all.

Enchanted forest, the next day…

It was the crack of dawn and the dwarves (and dwarf-Naruto) were getting ready to leave for the mine.

"So are you sure that you'll be okay alone here? I can come back early if you feel lonely ya know?" Naruto said as he put on his miner clothes and grabbed a pickaxe.

"Never worry my dear Naruto. I am not alone! I have my woodland friends and they will keep me company until you all return. Now go on – shoo! Try not to get distracted while mining thinking about me now dearie~!" Snow said , her voice gaining a surprisingly saucy lilt in the end.

Naruto's eyes widened at her sudden teasing, huffing at her before he got closer and gave her a hug (now it was Snow's turn to blush…).

"Okay, okay. You're a big girl now I guess. I just can't help but worry sometimes you know."

"Alright, alright – enough of this mushy stuff! It's time to head out laddie! Grumpy really wants to see the clone power you talked about yesterday!" Doc said as Grumpy grumbled affirmatively.

"Hrrmm…yes. We can maximize our productivity quickly with no 'distractions' (he looked pointedly at Snow as he said that – he noticed that both Bashful and Naruto liked her and that was a fourth of their workforce besotted by her already…)."

Snow then kissed the dwarves goodbye (on their foreheads – Naruto got a cheek kiss though…Bashful was a little disheartened about it) as they made to leave for the day. Grumpy was the last to leave and before he did, he warned Snow to keep the door locked and to not allow anyone in, as the forest was not as welcoming to newcomers as the dwarves were (which in Grumpy's own tsundere way, was a way of telling her he did worry for her, even if he was a sourpuss all the time). This wasn't lost on Snow, who smiled prettily at him and nodded her assent. His piece said, he left and now, Snow was alone.

"Now, what to do? Hmmm…I cleaned up the house yesterday so maybe I could make a nice gooseberry pie for Grumpy! That dwarf is a sweetheart under all the gristle he wraps his heart in after all!" Snow said as she began singing a merry tune, the birds and squirrels she charmed with her song helping her with the cooking. After she had put the pie in the oven, she was startled by a knock on the cottage door.

"Oh! Who could it be at this hour and this place?"

Snow made her way to the front door and opened it, only to see an ugly old woman being accosted by the woodland creatures – unknown to Snow herself, this old woman was peeping at her baking the pie before going to knock the door. Naturally, Snow shooed away the animals, their protests going unheard as her human instincts couldn't discern the evil intent hidden behind the old woman's disguise. After she did, she guided the old woman to the cottage – the animals immediately panicked and rushed off to fetch the dwarves (Naruto in particular, as the animals sensed his overwhelming latent strength).

Meanwhile, with Snow and the queen, the old lady was plying the foolish girl with praise and gratitude for helping 'poor old granny' from the nasty animals.

"Oh thank you dearie! How can I possibly thank you for your help? Surely such a beautiful and kind girl like you has everything she could wish for…" Grimhilde said as Snow blushed and waved away the praise, looking sad for a moment.

"Ah, it was nothing! I don't know what got into them – they're usually so well behaved! You don't have to do anything to thank me! I only want to be with my Prince and live happily ever after with him, without having to worry about being hunted down!" Snow said as the old woman looked excited for a moment before rummaging in her cloak, pulling out a large red apple and placing it in Snow's hands.

"I have just the thing for that dearie! This here is a wishing apple – merely take a bite and your wish will come true!" Grimhilde said, unaware that Snow was referring to Naruto as her prince and not the actual Prince.

"Truly?! Well then I wish for my Prince to take me away to live happily ever after then!" Snow said and as the old woman insisted that her wish would grow 'cold' the longer she went without taking a bite, she took a bite. She immediately collapsed and fell into the sleep of Living Death and was rendered insensate until receiving Love's First Kiss. Having accomplished her nefarious mission, the queen cackled in delight before leaving the cottage. However, she still had the guise of an old woman and was ergo too slow to avoid meeting up with the dwarves and Naruto, who were furious with her (the animals said that the old woman was evil, but not what she did to Snow as they didn't stick around to find out).

The dwarves gave chase; Naruto quickly darted into the cottage, only to find Snow in her poisoned sleep. Upon closer inspection, he recognized the smell and taint of the magic of the apple – it was the same miasma the queen's laboratory had!

"Damn it! The queen has found us! Now I have to find that old lady – she's probably the queen in disguise like me. I need to get her to undo this condition before the dwarves beat her to an inch of her life, if Grumpy and Bashful don't kill her outright!" Naruto yelled in anger as his Henge dispelled and he ran out of the cottage at super speed, catching up with the dwarves quickly. They had chased the queen to a cliff edge, the queen being on a higher ridge than the dwarves.

When he arrived, he was just in time to see the old woman try to push a rock onto the dwarves and crush them. He yelled at them to look out but he didn't have to – the sky suddenly turned dark, a bright bolt of lightning lancing down and striking the ground in front of the queen, blasting her off the cliff edge, the boulder she was pushing falling after her. When he saw this, Naruto's eyes bugged out in disbelief.

"Damn it! I need her alive – Snow's life depends on it!" Naruto yelled as he glowed blue for a second rushing past the surprised dwarves and jumping down after the falling queen, running down the cliff face. He smashed the boulder into pieces as he went down, not wanting to have it pulverize the queen when she hit the bottom of the cliff. When he did finally reach the bottom of the cliff, he found the queen in a sorry state – she had broken her legs and left arm and she looked to have an internal hemorrhage somewhere as she was coughing out blood with every breath she took. Truly, it was a testament to her magical ability that she didn't die immediately. Her disguise had broken, all that remained was a broken woman, a woman who was…crying?

"Grimhilde. Looks like you've had quite a tumble down the cliff haven't you? Looks like I won't have to beat you up for what you tried to have Humbert do…" Naruto said as he knelt down near the queen, whose eyes widened upon seeing Naruto.

"N-naruto? Is that you? Ah, at least I can see your handsome face one last time before I *cough* die…mayhap this is simply the delusions of my dying brain but I guess I can finally tell you how I feel and why I did what I did…" The queen gasped out as Naruto shook his head and put a glowing hand on her chest, slowing her internal bleeding a little.

"Huh? Never mind that…I need you to tell me what you did to Snow. How do I fix it?!"

"Haha…even now you can't see it…my feelings for you…she's in the sleep of Living Death – only Love's First Kiss can free her…" Grimhilde said as Naruto nodded and looked at her curiously.

"Thanks for that. I'll heal you up a little more so you don't die on me while I do that but first, tell me – why did you do all of this? You are the Queen! You have all the power somebody could want – why would you want to kill Snow?"

"At first, I was jealous of her beauty – I had to work so hard to become who I am. I made pacts with so many demons that I don't even remember what I looked like originally. Snow was naturally beautiful and she bewitched everyone effortlessly, yourself included. Later on, I began to be jealous of how she commanded your attention – you are such a powerful young man and with you by her side, she would become a powerful monarch with all the power in the world. Unlike me, her rule would be uncontested – her subjects would revere her and she wouldn't have to rule with an iron fist…I wanted power at any cost and you were the easiest way to get it. At first, it was just about your power and how I could use it to bolster my own but after a while, I began to fall in love with you. Haaa…come to think of it, it is actually funny – I never loved another person other than myself and when I fell for someone at last, it had to be someone who already loved another…"

After that long spiel, she then took a long shuddering breath as she chuckled at Naruto's gobsmacked expression, raising her good arm to stroke his cheek lovingly.

"I wanted to be the apple of your eye – I wanted you to be mine as I was already yours. I was even ready to give you my body that fateful day before I saw how you and Snow affirmed your love for one another. She already knew something about my affection for you but she still wanted you – even after a literal Prince had fallen for her! I couldn't let this stand so I tried to have her killed – I could have had her married off to that Prince instead but my mind was clouded by something at the time. I tried to seduce you but that obviously failed and you know the rest…"

Naruto then noticed something – as the queen spoke, her magic seemed to unravel before his eyes. Her beauty was still there but her imperious and svelte nature seemed to dispel, leaving an ordinary but statuesque woman behind. She also seemed more honest, the words spilling from her breast like a waterfall.

"Grimhilde, why say this now? Why weren't you honest from the beginning? Your magic has dispelled and yet your beauty remains – someone must have lied to you." Naruto said as the queen gasped and looked at herself in surprise.

"My pact with the Mirror Demon must have ended – I have been deprived of my magic but my mind is my own once again! My thoughts are clearer to me now – the Mirror must have been manipulating me somehow but why would it do such a thing? I guess making pacts with a demon has its downsides after all, even if you were evil once yourself…" She mused as Naruto deadpanned at her.

"Yeah, no kidding. That was a dumb mistake there 'Miss' Grimhilde – magic lesson 101: never make pacts with beings you don't fully understand!" Naruto said as Grimhilde smiled and blushed sheepishly. She then gasped in elation and…arousal as Naruto's hadn began glowing gold and her body glowed orange for a second before all her injuries were healed.

"What was that?! I have been restored!" She said as she twirled around in a circle once she got to her feet.

"I healed you Grimhilde. Now that you've turned over a new leaf, I just need to save Snow and you can return to being Queen." Naruto said as Grimhilde shook her head at that.

"You can save Snow but I can't return to the kingdom – it is probably under the dominion of the Mirror Demon as we speak – it wanted power over people's souls and I gave it to him as Queen but now he has released me although my soul can still feel his grip on it." She said as Naruto hoisted her on his back and made his way up the cliff face.

"Looks like I have another quest after this then! I'll save Snow then I'll save your soul along with the kingdom!" Naruto exclaimed as Grimhilde smiled and burrowed her face into his broad back, a rosy hue on her cheeks.

"Yes darling…"

A few minutes later…

When Naruto got to the top of the cliff face, he found the dwarves mourning his demise. Upon informing them of his status and the queen's condition and motives, they then begrudgingly forgave her and took her back to their cottage, where Snow still laid undisturbed in a bed after Naruto left her.

"So here it goes. You know, this isn't how I wanted to have our first kiss together but I guess I should just be glad that we can finally be a couple after this. I will be your Prince and fill your heart with joy – this I vow." Naruto said as he knelt close to Snow, closed his eyes and laid a gentle kiss on her lips, a brilliant golden light emanating from the pair. Surprisingly, it didn't blind the dwarves and Grimhilde but it filled their hearts with a joy they couldn't explain. Outside, the forest seemed to pulse with life, the very grass looking positively vibrant and flowers coming to bloom.

When he finished kissing Snow, he opened his eyes to see her looking at him with a massive blush on her face but an equally large smile on her face.

"Naruto? My wish did come true after all! You were my prince all along – my heart sang true and now there's no doubt that you love me, just as I have as long as I have known you." She said as Naruto smiled at her and pulled her up to her feet to hug her tightly.

"I have loved you for a long time Snow…I just didn't know how to bring it up. Now I believe that there's someone here who has something to say to you…" Naruto said as he let Snow go and brought her to Grimhilde, who looked shamefacedly at her estranged step-daughter.

"S-step mother?! What are you doing here?"

"Sit down child…this will be a long story…"

One information dump later…

Having being brought up to speed on current events, Snow had forgiven the queen and they were now making their way back to the kingdom. Naruto initially wanted to lay siege to the castle himself but Grimhilde and Snow refused to let him go alone so the trio were now walking to the castle together.

"The Mirror Demon is a trickster – be wary of his lies. The people of the kingdom haven't been corrupted yet, so he must be using a doppelganger of me to fool the people into thinking that I am still alive." Grimhilde said as the three of them entered a secret castle passage on the outside of the queen's personal tower – it would lead them to the queen's laboratory without meeting anyone along the way.

" Roger that! Now it's time to send that demon packing – he's messed with my family for the last time!" Naruto said as the two women smiled at him warmly.

Upon their arrival at the queen's laboratory, they found the mirror levitating in the center of the room, a massive black spell circle glowing and rotating below it.

"Ah. Grimhilde, you survived after all. I was so hoping to have your body join your soul in eternal servitude to me in my domain in the Underworld but no such luck it seems…" The Mirror said as its face looked at Grimhilde lasciviously as Naruto growled and cracked his knuckles menacingly.

"You freak! What do you mean you wanted her to die!"

"Oh. You. The ever present thorn in my side – your energy kept me from fully corrupting Grimhilde for so many years (fun fact, Snow White was 14 in the original tale) and now you kept me from getting my own slave! She would have served me body and soul as my personal concubine and thrall! Now that you're here, I can finally do what I wanted to do for so many years – I can END YOU!!!"

The mirror's face suddenly grimaced before grinning demonically – the mirror turned purple as a black hand with red stripes reached though the mirror, seemingly pulling a massive body through it. As it's torso came through the mirror, Snow suddenly felt a twinge in her heart as she turned to Naruto with a serious look in her eyes.

"Naruto, don't let that thing touch you – it will infect you with its energy and steal yours!"

"Heh…no problem – this thing isn't the only one that knows how to weaponize its energy!" Naruto said as he flexed his muscles, a thick layer of chakra covering his body as his eyes turned a dull amber in color.

By now, the demon had fully emerged from the mirror. He stood at a massive nine feet and only wore an opulent loincloth and gold sandals. He was powerfully built, his muscles pulsing with power. As he looked over to Naruto after admiring himself for a while, his eyes were revealed. They were purple – the sclera that is, the irises were a malevolent red.

"Now you see what you are up against boy? You challenge a god! I shall kill you and take your females for myself – they will make a fine addition to my harem!!! Hahaha *Urk!!!*"

As the demon was having his monologue, he was interrupted as he found Naruto's fist lodged deep in his gut, the punch so powerful that felt as if it should have punched right through him. Behind the man, Grimhilde and Snow gasped at Naruto's speed and strength, having never seen him get serious like this.

"You know…I wanted the fight to be epic so that Grimhilde and Snow could have a good show of me kicking your sorry ass but you crossed a line buddy! No one talks about my precious people like that!" Naruto said as he clenched his other fist and punched the demon in the jaw, his fist now glowing gold, so great was his rage.

The results were obvious – the demon's face FOLDED around Naruto's fist, blood, bone and teeth flying as the demon was smashed into the ground at Naruto's feet. It was only due to the strength of the dimension seals on the ground that the entire castle wasn't obliterated, although the entire kingdom felt the quake from his punch. The demon was already dying – having never expected such a power gap, it was swatted like a mere fly and even as its life force was waning, it had one card left to play.

"Aghhhh! You stupid pest! You may have killed me but your body will be mine! If my body fails me I'll just take yours!"The demon said as it exploded in a shower of gore, covering Naruto in it as the mirror began to glow green.

Naruto was relatively unfazed at first – that was a very anticlimactic fight before he suddenly doubled over, feeling his energy leaving him at a rapid pace. Snow and Grimhilde rushed over to him as he fell to his knees, an intricate black pattern crawling up his body.

"W-what's happening?! I killed the bastard in two punches but I still feel his presence!" Naruto said as Grimhilde grabbed his face in both her hands.

"He's trying to take over your body Naruto! I can stop it before the energy gains sentience but I don't think Snow will like it very much…" Grimhilde said as she turned to Snow, who nodded at her seriously.

"Do it Grimhilde – I can sense Naruto's energy dissipating quickly!" Snow said, her skin glowing a faint white.

"Alright. Well this is one magical ritual I'll enjoy at least…" Grimhilde mumbled as she kissed Naruto in a deep French kiss, her body now glowing purple as Naruto's shone gold. After a minute or so, they broke apart, Naruto now feeling fine and Grimhilde manifesting her queenly robes through magic once more.

"Grimhilde! You have your magic back now! How did that happen?" Naruto asked as Grimhilde smiled at him and shook her head.

"Not now darling – first finish the job and destroy the Mirror. It is now a portal to the Underworld."

"Alright…but I am holding you to that!"

Naruto then walked over to the mirror and punched it, the mirror immediately shattering into purple shards and motes of light as the seals below it exploded with energy and all melted into white.

Epilogue

Grimhilde was no longer a queen – the vanquishment of the demon had erased the people's memories of her – except Humbert as he was the 'familiar' of the queen. She had regained her magic and what's more, she had all the demon's power, meaning that she didn't need to make pacts for power. She joked that she was the Dark Queen to Snow's White Queen as Naruto's loves. Oh yeah, Grimhilde was now free to love for love's sake and of course, she picked Naruto (Snow huffed a little but got over it – she knew she had been pining for Naruto almost as long as she did anyway).

Humbert was now the regent – Naruto announced it to the kingdom and since Naruto was the most senior castle staff member at the time; this was taken smoothly by the people. Humbert was a down to earth ruler – he only waited for the Prince to return before ceding control over to him and thus the kingdom was assimilated into the dominion of the Fairytale Castle in the Clouded Heaven.

So where were Snow, Grimhilde and Naruto now? Well, we find them travelling the roads, looking for the next adventure – the queens of twilight and their sage of hearts, the one who healed and brought them together, as a family…
