Chapter 1: Episode 1
The story of the two greatest sorcerer's in history.
In the mystical realm of Albion, a young Merlin, barely twelve winters old, embarked on a journey to become the strongest wizard of all time. With an insatiable thirst for knowledge and a heart full of wonder, he ventured into the enchanted forest, seeking the ancient wisdom of the druids. As he wandered deeper into the woods, the trees grew twisted, and air thickened with malevolent energy. Suddenly, a dark figure emerged from the shadows. He was a dark elf, his energy as dark as coal making anyone who neared it sick, his eyes glowing with an otherworldly green light. He introduced himself as Malakar, a master of necromancy and the only user. Initially, Merlin was wary, but as they conversed, he discovered that Malakar's powers were not solely for evil. The dark elf sought to understand the balance of life and death, to wield his magic for the greater good. Intrigued, Merlin proposed a pact: together, they would journey to the farthest corners of Albion, seeking ancient artifacts, forbidden knowledge, and untold power. Malakar agreed, and their unlikely friendship was forged. As they traveled, Merlin honed his elemental magic, while Malakar delved deeper into the mysteries of necromancy. They encountered formidable foes, overcame treacherous landscapes, and unraveled ancient mysteries. Through their adventures, Merlin learned that through strength lies not only in magic but also in understanding and compassion. Malakar, in turn, discovered that his powers could be used to protect and preserve, rather than merely destroy. As Merlin and Malakar continued their journey, they stumbled upon an ancient tome hidden within the labyrinthine libraries of the druids. The worn leather book was bound with strange symbols that shimmered with a chronal essence. The tome revealed the secrets of temporal magic, and Merlin became obsessed with mastering the art of time manipulation. However, the task proved to be his most daunting challenge yet. The fabric of time resisted his spells, and the consequences of failure were catastrophic. Hours became years, and seasons blurred together as Merlin struggled to grasp the fundamental forces of chronology. Meanwhile, Malakar received a haunting vision from the spirit realm, beckoning him to the underworld city of Erebo. His father the dark elf Xandro's, had summoned him. Malakar hesitated knowing his father will try to steer up the darkness within him. Upon arrival, Malakar found Erebo shrouded in an eternal dark fog. Xandro's revealed a shocking truth: he had made a pact with a malevolent being from beyond the veil, trading their family's souls for unfathomable power. Horrified, Malakar realizing the horrific truth of his family's death, Xandro's continued saying and this being wanted to enter our world but he couldn't so i offered all of you but sadly they weren't compatible he then turned as he stretched his hand smiling menacingly as he continued saying but you, my son you are more than compatible. Xandro's continued offer yourself my son and let's rule this world together, Malakar swallowed by rage rushed at his father as a heart -wrenching battle ensued. Father against and son, darkness against darkness. As the battle was reaching it's climax Xandro's grabbed Malakar on his neck chocking him, at that point Merlin finally grasped the essence of time magic. He appeared in Erebo, weaving a temporal shield around Malakar and shattering Xandro's hold on his son and he was defeated by a combined effort of Merlin and Malakar. Together, they fled Erebo, their bond stronger than ever. Merlin's control over time was still in it's infant stage but with Malakar by his side he knew he could face any challenge the universe presented.Centuries later .... As Merlin's mortal coil began to unravel, he summoned Malakar to his side. With a frail but determined hand, he grasped the dark elf's shoulder. "Malakar, my friend, my brother," Merlin whispered, his voice trembling with the weight of centuries. "I have one last request for you. Spread magic throughout the world, that it may never fade. Share our discoveries, our triumphs, and our struggles with those who thirst and have the zeal for magic." Malakar's eyes welled with tears as he nodded, his heart at the impending loss of his friend and brother, Merlin seeing this gave a slight chuckle, Malakar asked what made him laugh Merlin replied saying it was nothing his just surprised that Malakar will cry for him, Merlin smiling said it makes me happy, Malakar chuckled and told him to "shut up". Merlin's gaze swept across the realms, as if beholding the vast expanse of their adventures. "From the misty isles of Albion to the scorching deserts of Zahran, from the mystical forests of Elvendom to the snow capped mountains of Nefaria, take our legacy to every corner of the world." With a gentle smile, Merlin placed a wrinkled hand on Malakar's forehead. A surge of energy coursed through the dark elf, imbuing him with the essence of their shared journey. "Carry the torch of knowledge, Malakar. Ignite the spark of magic within every heart. Let our friendship be the beacon that guides generations to come." As Merlins vision faded, Malakar vowed to fulfill his final wish. With a heavy heart, he bid farewell to his beloved friend, knowing that their bond would transcend time and mortality. And so, Malakar set out on his new quest, traversing realms, sharing wisdom and kindling the flames of magic in heart of the humans who sought it. Malakar saying the world will never forget our legacy as he watched the sun rise centuries later, Malakar sighed saying i miss you old friend. Malakar journey came to a stall when he wasn't able to teach Necromancy but his disciples were only able to use different variations of unique abilities. As Malakar's life drew to it's final stages he discovers the forgotten art of reincarnation. With this knowledge, he binds his soul and Merlin's soul to a time where the darkness begins to run rampant and powerful sorcerers are scarce. Merlin having passed away before Malakar, is reborn five years earlier, establishing himself as the strongest in Japan. Malakar reborn later, must navigate this new world unaware of merlin's head start and both been unaware of their past.Merlin's reincarnate at the time built has already built his reputation as the strongest and well versed sorcerer in Japan.Malakar, at this time is till 16 yrs old and will soon have to navigate through the world of sorcery and discover his past. Akira floated in a dark void, the weightless quiet surrounding him. He looked around, but there was only emptiness. Then he glanced upward and murmured to himself, "Oh, i see. Just a dream." With a small smile, he relaxed, enjoying the peaceful silence. But soon, a strange feeling crept in a nagging sense that he'd forgotten something important. In the distance, he heard his mother calling his name, her voice faint but urgent. His eyes widened as he remembered: I have school today! He bolted awake, panic flooding him. "I'm late!" he muttered, scrambling to throw on his uniform. As he dashed through the kitchen, his mom asked, "Aren't you going to eat?" " No time!" he called back, already halfway out the door. Watching him leave, his mother sighed in disappointment. "who's going to eat all this then?" she muttered. His dad, flipping through news paper, replied, " Don't worry, I'll take care of it". Akira sprinted down the street, nearly colliding with his friend, Yuta. "Hey, Akira! Always running late, huh?" Yuta teased. Akira laughing, catching his breath. "look who is talking you're late too!" They grinned at each other, and after a bit, took off again, both shouting, "Late" at the top of their lungs. As they ran, Yuta suggested, "Let's take the shortcut! Without hesitation, they jumped a fence and continued sprinting. But as they landed on the other side, they stumbled into a tense standoff. Three gang factions were facing off, guns drawn. Before Akira or Yuta could react a gun shot rang out. The first bullet was heading straight for Yuta. In a flash, Akira's eyes darkened, an eerie shadow flickering over them. Without thinking, he leaped forward, shoving Yuta out of the way. The bullet struck him in the chest, and he staggered, clutching his wound as blood seeped through his fingers. The gang members froze, realizing they'd hit a kid. They scattered, leaving Akira bleeding in the alley. Yuta fell to his knees beside him, desperately pressing on the wound, shouting for help. Akira's vision blurred, his breaths shallow. Yet somehow, he managed a weak laugh. "I feel.... cold," he whispered, as his eyes drifted shut. As Akira opened his eyes, he found himself floating in the vast, dark void. He looked around, confusion settling in. "what... happened?" he murmured. Slowly, memories of the gunshot and his lasts moments flooded back to him. He sighed, realization dawning on him. "So I'm dead, huh? What a shame. I never really did anything with my life." Drifting in the emptiness, his thoughts turned to his parents. "I wonder how they're feeling right now..." His voice broke as he imagined their pain, and he felt an unexpected ache in his chest. Tears began to slip down his cheeks. "Why am i crying?" he asked himself, sobbing louder as the void amplified his loneliness. "I want to see my friends again," he whispered, voice choked with emotion. "I already miss my parents... and i haven't even tasted the sacred fruit..." Just then, a deep, resonant echoed through the darkness. " So... you want to live?" Akira looked up, still sobbing, and managed to whisper, "Yes..." "That's good to hear," the voice replied, In an instant, Akira gasped as he was jolted back to life, his chest heaving. He opened his eyes, breathing heavily, his voice hoarse as he asked, " Water... please." Around him, nurses and doctors stood in shock, staring at the boy who had been declared dead. Word of his miraculous return quickly spread, sparking a media frenzy. In the shadows of a hidden room, two figures watched the scene unfold. One leaned forward, voice low and menacing. "You know what to do." the other nodded, replying, "Yes." The first figure's eyes gleamed. "If he refuses... I'll drag him here myself." Akira walked down the dimly lit hospital hallway, his footsteps echoing. Passing a window, he felt a echoing. Passing a window, he felt a chill echoing. passing a window, he felt a chill as two piercing red eyes suddenly appeared, staring right at him. He whipped his head towards the window, but the eyes were gone. "Strange," he murmured, frowning. "I could've sworn something was watching me." Continuing toward his room, his mind churned. Ever since i came back to life, doctors and scientists worldwide have wanted to examine me. But something about their interest felt... off. Maybe I'm just overthinking it, he thought, stepping into his room. He looked around, his gaze lingering on the empty bed. The doctors said they'd take my blood today, but... they haven't shown up. In fact, I didn't see any staff anywhere. No doctors. No nurses. All the rooms are empty... A prickle of unease crept up his spine. Something's wrong. He stepped back out of his room, but froze. A dark, horrific creature stood in the hallway, it's grotesque form shuddered as it rasped a single word over and over: "Capture... capture..." The creature lunged, claws slicing through the air. Akira barely dodged, stumbling back before spinning on his heel and running. His heart pounded as he sprinted toward the exit, but the hallway seemed to stretch endlessly, the door growing further away with every step. "This has to be a dream," he panicked. He dared a glance back, and his blood froze. The creature dashed towards him at a terrifying speed, claws outstretched. Akira braced himself, closing his eyes, sure he couldn't escape this time. the sharp claws reached for him. But then a flaming arrow shattered the window, blazing past him to strike the monster. The creature recoiled, hissing as it went up in flames. Akira fell back, wide-eyed and panting. "What.. what is happening?" A figure in a tuxedo appeared, towering over him. The man's face was calm, and he bent down, looking Akira over. " Are you hurt?" Akira tried to speak, but words failed him. Behind them, the monster began to rise, it's charred skin regenerating. The man straightened, his face partially transforming, magma cracking across his skin as he grabbed the creature's claw mid- swing. His voice was low, almost amused. "Why don't cockroaches die immediately?" With a wave of his hand, the monster burst into flames disintegrating to ashes. Turning back to Akira, the man offered a hand. "You're coming with us." Akira hesitated, swallowing hard. " Who... who is us? Before he could get an answer, everything went black.
