RWBY : Remnant Hulk

Chapter 2: Debate Of The Hulk Existence

As they headed to Ozpin's office, Weiss continued her conversation with Ruby about The Hulk.

"Seriously, the stories about The Hulk don't make any sense!" Weiss said, crossing her arms.

"Why?" Ruby asked, tilting her head. "What's wrong with The Hulk?" Her curiosity was piqued.

As they walked, Weiss continued her argument.

"Think about it, Ruby. The Hulk's existence contradicts logic—especially when it comes to the Grimm."

Ruby blinked. "What do you mean?"

"You know how Grimm are attracted to negative emotions, right? Fear, anger, hatred—those are what draw them in," Weiss explained, gesturing with her hands. "If The Hulk is as powerful and destructive as the stories claim, then he should be a magnet for them. But instead, that old novel tell us that the Grimm don't just avoid him—they're terrified of him."

Ruby furrowed her brows, trying to process the idea. "Well that... is kinda weird."

Blake, who had been quietly listening, folded her arms. "Unless the stories are exaggerating," she mused. "Maybe he's just another powerful fighter, and people are making him sound larger than life."

"Or maybe he's just that awesome!" Yang cut in with a grin. "Come on, Weiss, you gotta admit—it's pretty cool. A guy so strong even the Grimm are scared of him? That's next-level badass."

Weiss groaned, pinching the bridge of her nose. "That's not the point, Yang!"

"Oh, I think it is!" Yang smirked. "You're just mad because you can't explain it."

Weiss huffed. "I just don't like stories that don't make sense."

Ruby, still deep in thought, glanced at Blake. "But what if it is real?"

Blake didn't answer immediately, but a flicker of uncertainty crossed her face.

As Team RWBY continued their discussion, they turned a corner and nearly bumped into Team JNPR, who were heading in the opposite direction.

"Oh, hey guys!" Ruby greeted, waving cheerfully.

"Yo!" Jaune grinned. "Where are you all headed?"

"Ozpin's office," Yang replied. "But first, Weiss is having a meltdown over The Hulk."

"I am not having a meltdown!" Weiss snapped, crossing her arms.

Jaune raised an eyebrow. "Wait—The Hulk? As in the crazy story about some unstoppable monster in Vacuo?"

"Ugh, don't tell me you believe in that nonsense too," Weiss groaned.

"Of course I do!" Jaune said enthusiastically. "The guy's legendary! Some say he's as strong as a hundred Huntsmen! Even fought them all with his bare hands!"

"Pfft, only a hundred?" Nora scoffed, punching her palm. "If even the Grimm are afraid of him, then he must be, like, super awesome! I bet he could suplex a Death Stalker into the ground!"

"That's what doesn't make sense," Weiss argued, exasperated. "Grimm are drawn to negative emotions. If The Hulk is just a really strong warrior, then the Grimm should be swarming him, not running away!"

Ren, standing beside Nora with his arms folded, nodded thoughtfully. "That is a fair point. If the Grimm are naturally attracted to rage, then why would they avoid him?"

"Maybe he's not human," Blake suggested, half-serious.

Pyrrha, who had been quietly listening, finally spoke up. "Or maybe the stories have been exaggerated. Rumors tend to grow over time—perhaps The Hulk is just an exceptionally strong Huntsman, and the rest is myth."

This sparked a playful back-and-forth between the two teams.

"You're just jealous that someone's cooler than you, Weiss," Yang teased.

"That's ridiculous!" Weiss shot back.

"Okay, but what if he's real?" Ruby asked again, her voice a little more serious this time.

For a moment, no one had an answer.

Then Nora grinned. "Well, if he is real, I wanna fight him!"

Everyone groaned at that, but they couldn't help but laugh.

As the debate carried on, neither side could come to a solid conclusion.

"Well, whether he's real or not, it's a cool story," Jaune said with a shrug. "And if he is real, I hope he's on our side."

"He better be," Weiss muttered. "Otherwise, we'd have more than just Grimm to worry about."

"Aw, don't be such a downer, Ice Queen!" Nora grinned, giving Weiss a playful nudge.

"Don't call me that!" Weiss snapped, causing the others to chuckle.

"Anyway, we should get going," Ren said, glancing at the time.

"Yeah, right! Professor Ozpin must be waiting for us," Ruby replied, suddenly realizing that she had almost forgotten.

"Yeah, we'll see you guys later!" Pyrrha added warmly.

Both teams exchanged waves and parted ways, with JNPR heading down one hallway while RWBY continued toward Ozpin's office.

As they walked, the conversation died down, but Blake remained deep in thought.

What if the stories weren't just exaggerated myths? What if The Hulk truly existed—and was even more dangerous than people realized?

She glanced at her teammates, who were still joking around. They don't seem too concerned... but something about this doesn't sit right with me.

A powerful force that could make even the Grimm cower in fear? That was more terrifying than anything they had ever faced.

For now, she kept her thoughts to herself.
