Chapter 11: First Piece (Part 1)
Planning the Mission
As Zoya rested, Aish convened with the other God ranks to discuss the vision. Vairaj,
Jerome, Brooklyn, and the rest of the God ranks, warriors were informed of the development.
Aish: "This forest is unlike anything we've faced. The creature guarding the fragment will be formidable. We'll need a team of our best for this mission. Zoya's vision is our key, but her safety is paramount."
Vairaj: (stepping forward) "Then count me in. If Zoya's leading us there, I'll be by her side."
Brooklyn smirked from the corner.
Brooklyn: "Looks like the kid's got some fire in him after all."
The room buzzed with tension and determination as the warriors prepared for what was shaping up to be one of their most critical missions yet.
The Plan Unfolds
The war room was bustling with activity. The God ranks stood at the head of the table, while master and elite rank warriors sat in clusters, sharing strategies. A large hologram of the forest from Zoya's vision floated above the table, flickering as details were mapped out.
Aish: "Listen closely, everyone. This mission is critical. The fragment is located deep within this forest. The monster guarding it is highly intelligent, and its size suggests immense strength. This isn't an ordinary battle—it's a retrieval operation. The goal is to extract the fragment, not engage in unnecessary combat."
Brooklyn: (leaning back lazily) "So, who's playing bait this time? Or are we all bait?"
Aish: (ignoring Brooklyn's comment) "Here's the plan.Bruce, Jerome and the engineers will handle deploying high-tech traps to slow the monster down. Felix and his close-combat unit will ensure no one gets ambushed. Hems will provide ranged cover with his magic arrows. Mia, you'll copy the monster's movements to learn its patterns."
Mia: "Got it. But what happens if my body can't handle it?"
John: "That's where I come in. My Element power can adapt to counter its attacks. You'll
have backup."
Emma: "And me? Should I prepare molecules to create a containment field for the fragment?"
Aish: "Yes, Emma. That will be crucial. The fragment might have residual energy that can
affect anyone holding it."
Ganya: (sharpening his sword) "I'll lead the offensive strike if the monster decides to get too close for comfort."
Zoya: (stepping into the room) "And I'll guide the team to the fragment. My Brightening Angel ability gives me clarity on the safest path."
Everyone turned to look at her. Her presence, even after the recent turmoil, exuded
confidence.
Brooklyn: "Ah, the vision girl. You sure you're up for it?"
Zoya: (calmly) "More than you know, Brooklyn."
Vairaj: "And me? What should I do?"
Aish: (with a small smile) "You'll stick with Zoya. Protect her. She's the key to this mission, and we can't afford to lose her."
Jerome: (adjusting his upgraded armor) "I'll also keep an eye on him. Vairaj can be
reckless."
Brooklyn: (grinning) "Understatement of the year."

Training for Powers
In the following weeks, Aaron and others who had recently unlocked their powers trained
intensely to gain better control. Aaron's "Ultimate Warrior" ability was tested for endurance, strength, and adaptability.
Aaron: (smashing a dummy monster with his axe) "This power feels... endless. It's like I can't get tired."
Ganya: (observing him) "Don't get overconfident. Strength means nothing without precision. Focus on your strikes."
Meanwhile, Zoya was training under Aish, refining her visions to gain more clarity.
Aish: "Your Brightening Angel ability is unique. It's more than a guiding light—it can influence the outcome of events. Focus harder on what the vision is telling you."
Zoya: (closing her eyes, beads of sweat forming) "I see... more than just the fragment.
There's a path... a dangerous one. If we take it, someone might not return."
Aish: (calmly) "That's the nature of war, Zoya. But your role is to minimize that risk. Trust
your power."

Vairaj and Jerome Return to Fester City
Vairaj and Jerome stood at the gates of Fester City. The once-bustling city was now eerily silent. Buildings were damaged, streets deserted, and the air carried a faint metallic tang.
Vairaj: (looking around) "Hard to believe this was our home. It's like a ghost town now."
Jerome: "People haven't returned because they're scared. And honestly? They're right to be. One breach, and it could all go to hell again."
Vairaj: (nodding) "We need to check the old technology hub. There might be something there we can use for the mission."
As they navigated the city, the silence was broken only by the crunch of their boots on
debris. They entered the old tech hub, a sprawling underground facility.
Jerome: (activating his armor's scanner) "Still some residual energy here. If we can restore power, I might be able to extract useful data."
Vairaj: (smirking) "You mean I restore power while you work your tech magic?"
Jerome: (grinning) "Exactly."
The two worked in sync, with Jerome analyzing old schematics and Vairaj repairing
damaged circuits.
Vairaj: "Think we'll find anything useful?"
Jerome: (focused) "If we're lucky, maybe some old blueprints for weapon
enhancements. Or something to give us an edge."

Back at the Camp
While Vairaj and Jerome were away, the camp continued its rigorous training. During a sparring session, Nate his unique power—Sonic Howl, a devastating sound wave
attack that could disorient and incapacitate enemies.
Nate: (grinning) "Finally, something to make me stand out."
Kaida: "Just don't accidentally blow us out with it"
Logan: "We'll see about that."
Zoya's Brightening Angel ability grew stronger, giving her the ability to momentarily shield her allies from harm with a burst of radiant light.

Plan Execution in a Month
With everyone focused and training harder than ever, the savior organization was also
developing high-tech gadgets, including adaptable armor, enhanced communication
bracelets, and lightweight weapons. The entire camp buzzed with anticipation as the mission date grew closer.
Brooklyn, as usual, provided some levity during the campfire nights, though his humor
carried an edge of melancholy.
Brooklyn: "One month to the mission. Let's hope we all come back in one piece."
Vairaj: (returning from Fester City) "We will. And we'll make sure those monsters regret ever showing up in our world."
Everyone nodded, their determination stronger than ever. The countdown to the mission had begun.
