Chapter 146: Don't Go, Stay With Me
Suddenly, another memory was given by the second personality in her mind, a memory of a warm and passionate kiss between her and El. The kiss was full of feelings that she could not fully explain.
The warm and tender sensation of the kiss was still vivid in her mind, so real as if it had just happened. Lips and tongues touched each other, and shared saliva together.
With a reflex movement, Seitenshi's hand touched his own lips, feeling the warm imprint left from the memory.
"You! No- I'm so shameless..." she murmured, her face flushing deeper and deeper, realizing how deeply involved she was in those unusual feelings.
The shame was getting the better of him, her heartbeat was pounding erratically and despite Seitenshi's efforts to calm down, her mind kept spinning, thinking about the incident.
Inside her, there was an elusive turmoil of feelings between the desire to forget and the growing attraction to El, including craving for his body.
..
Seitenshi stood frozen in front of the dressing table, his face flushed hot to the tips of her ears. The sound of their personalities echoed in her mind, reminding him of a memory he did not want to remember but could not forget.
"Why... did you- no, I kissed him passionately?" Seitenshi whispered softly, voice almost inaudible, as if only she was allowed to hear his own anxiety.
Seitenshi's body trembled subtly, and she finally bent over, hiding her face between her hands. The burning feeling of shame made it difficult for her body to move.
"Sorry," the second personality's cold voice echoed back, remaining calm and emotionless. "His blood tastes much better and can increase our strength because its vitality surpasses that of normal humans."
"This is what allows us to chat at the same time. Like what i said before, right?" her said with cold tone like nothing.
However, that answer was not enough to satisfy Seitenshi. She straightened her back, though her eyes were still staring down, not daring to look into the mirror.
"Even so, why were you able to kiss her so passionately? And why did you share that memory?" she demanded in a louder voice, despite the trembling tone in it. "I'm such a slut! I'm ashamed to call myself a ruler."
"That means, you want to drink his blood from other places?" retorted the second personality, her voice flat yet sounding piercing. "Like... the neck?"
The word neck spoken in that cold tone instantly made Seitenshi's head fill with unexpected images. In her imagination, she saw herself in the middle of a quiet night, bringing her face close to El's neck.
Slowly, Seitenshi bit into the skin, sucking in the warm blood that flowed, accompanied by a soft moan. The remaining drops of blood she licked away slowly, leaving soft peck marks on her skin.
As if snapped out of a dream, Seitenshi's face turned even redder. She held her head, trying to get rid of the image. "Argh... stop!" she croaked, more to himself than the second personality.
However, the second personality's voice remained unwavering, as if adding salt to the wound. "Just like that, you're already embarrassed? Especially when you actually do it with her? You'll faint."
Those words seemed to stab straight into her heart. Seitenshi's heartbeat became more and more irregular, her thoughts more and more chaotic.
Other wild imaginations began to flood her mind, picturing herself and El sharing a passionate kiss, their bodies leaning against each other on the soft bed, their hands clasped tightly together as if they didn't want to be separated.
The burning shame had now reached its peak. Seitenshi ended up hugging himself, his face hidden between his arms, unable to contain the overflowing shame.
"Why do I have to imagine things like this... I'm such a slut!" muttered Seitenshi softly, almost like a stifled cry.
The second personality merely snorted in her mind, as if satisfied with the main personality's reaction. "Because it's part of you... part of us."
Seitenshi looked up slightly, his eyes peering at El who was still lying helplessly on the bed. Her previously flushed face was now a faint hue, but the embarrassment had not completely disappeared.
In a small voice like a whisper, Seitenshi said, "Why did he have to make me have multiple personalities anyway... What an insolent man..." Her irritated tone was audible, but there was no true anger in it, only confusion and mild frustration.
The second personality immediately replied, her voice flat but sounding sarcastic. "Anyway... You're incompetent, according to Adrian..."
Seitenshi frowned. "Who are you... Whose side are you on?" She hid her face even more, trying to ignore the voice in her mind.
However, that moment was instantly shattered when there was a loud coughing sound from the direction of the bed. "Khuugh!" El coughed up blood, his body convulsing weakly.
Seitenshi's eyes widened, worry instantly filling her face. "Adrian!" she exclaimed, standing up and going over to him. She knelt beside the bed. "Are you... are you okay?!"
El slowly opened her eyes, her face pale but her eyes radiating a returning consciousness.
After a few seconds of silence to calm her breathing, she turned her head, looking around the room. "Where is this...?" he asked softly, his voice hoarse.
"You're in my room," Seitenshi replied quickly. His voice filled with worry, his eyes staring into El's weakened face. "You fainted when I found you. I... I needed to know what happened, so I brought you here."
El nodded weakly, trying to get up but was immediately restrained by Seitenshi's hand. "Don't move yet! You're still recovering!" She said firmly, her tone sounding like an order.
But El just smiled faintly, his eyes looking at Seitenshi calmly. "Don't worry. I'm fine."
After calming himself down for a while, El tried to get up once more. "I have to go. Thank you for your help, but I can't stay here for too long. It could spark a bad rumor."
Seitenshi was surprised to hear her words. "What do you mean, you're not even fully sober yet, and you want to leave?"
El nodded, his expression remaining calm even though his body was clearly still weak. "I appreciate your concern, but I don't want this matter to escalate. Your good name as a leader must be preserved."
But Seitenshi didn't give up. She stood up, blocking El's exit with his body.
"I don't care about rumors! What's important is that you rest until you're fully recovered!" Seitenshi's face looked serious, but there was a slight blush on her cheeks that she couldn't hide.
El looked deeply at Seitenshi, as if to say something that could not be expressed in words. After a moment of silence, he let out a short breath.
In an instant, his body faded away like a thin mist that vanished in the night breeze. Before Seitenshi could react, she already saw El appear on the windowsill.
El's body straightened, preparing to leap into the darkness of the night that enveloped the city. Before jumping, however, El glanced at him with a faint smile that was a mixture of apology and unwavering determination.
"You're still too weak to stop me, wife..." he said in a low but ironic tone.
El's eyes gazed at Seitenshi for a moment, as if holding many things that could not be conveyed. "Sorry... for turning you into a demon and giving you multiple personalities." he said, smiling warmly.
Seitenshi's face instantly turned bright red, a mixture of embarrassment, anger, and confusion. Before Seitenshi could utter a single word, El had already averted his eyes.
With quick and graceful movements, El jumped out of the window, disappearing into the darkness of the night.
Not to be outdone, Seitenshi took a firm step towards the window, but his heart was still filled with worry mixed with annoyance.
