Chapter 32: chapter 30
Theo teaches Scathach how to hold a sword first, then teaches her to wield it without her index finger like a sparrow's finger, or to write with her unfamiliar hand, so she must have complete control over her body. Thus, when they do this, Scathach gets bored because controlling her entire body only lasts for 20 days.
Scathach: Damn you, master! For the past 20 days, I've only done nonsense, weird movements and requests.
Theo creates a stick and lightly hits Scathach on the head. Scathach flinches but maintains her balance while in the air, surprising even herself.
Theo: Don't question your master. You can already control 100% of your body from now on. I've taught you real training; I hope you're ready, my foolish student.
Scathach: Who are you calling foolish, damn master!
Theo ignores her and creates a running field, stretching a hundred kilometers. It's difficult for Scathach to see the entire field.
Theo creates heavy clothes, approximately 5 tons, and Scathach wears them but moves with great difficulty. The only reason she can move is because she is a demigod.
Scathach, out of breath.
Scathach: Master, you didn't create this for no reason.
Theo smiles.
Theo: Of course. Now that you've put on your clothes, run.
Scathach is surprised and begins to think that her master is indeed a demon.
Scathach: Master, I can barely walk. How am I supposed to run?
From Theo's shadow, Cerberus emerges, a memory from the Greek pantheon, becoming a shadow soldier. Then Theo points to Cerberus with his hand.
Theo: Do you see this cute dog? It will chase you to death, but don't worry, at most, it will only tear off your arm or leg. Healing you is a simple matter for me, after all, one's strength increases when faced with death. So, we'll even apply this in training; you better run well, Cerberus is hungry.
Cerberus immediately starts running, and Scathach reacts quickly, running as well, but Cerberus is very close to her. Scathach shouts:
Scathach: Damn you, Shisho! I will kill you after my mother!
Theo ignores these curses, focusing on Scathach's run. He creates shadow clones and instructs each one to master a weapon. There are a total of 100 clones, and Theo is already advanced in sword and stick techniques. While practicing bojutsu techniques, he mimicked Jin Mori's Monkey King style and can summon Ruyi Jingu at will to fight.
He can use "Weapons of Three Gods" according to his desires and is highly proficient in hand-to-hand combat. Thanks to time manipulation, he can see his opponent's moves before they even make them (an advanced version of observation haki). He copied sword techniques from Anos, making it easy to kill someone even with a stick.
Therefore, he can be called a god of war. He is also a master in other weapons, so his clones are trying to elevate him to god-like levels.
Scathach finishes her run. With her original body being very strong, she doesn't have to worry too much about her training.
Scathach can't bear it and falls to the ground. Theo uses a healing spell on her, and Scathach gets up, trying to attack Theo.
Scathach: Damn you, master! I almost died there. You don't know how many times I wanted to give up.
Theo does nothing, not even defending himself against her attack. Scathach eventually stops, realizing that her actions are meaningless.
Then Theo creates Ruyi Jingu. From now on, he'll carry it with him. He shrinks it and taps Scathach on the back.
Theo: Who said training is over? With these clothes, you'll do a thousand repetitions of push-ups, pull-ups, squats, and similar exercises. You have a 10-minute break between each set. If you take more, I'll beat you.
Scathach pouts and whispers:
Scathach: Foolish master.
Theo hears but ignores her and starts the training.
One year later,
Theo's body remains the same, but Scathach has grown a bit taller and more graceful. By now, she can lift 1000 tons and endure 20 times the gravity due to her demigod status. Theo didn't teach her how to use weapons; instead, he focused on developing controlled movements and her basic abilities like strength, speed, and flexibility. They haven't touched on magic yet.
The relationship between Scathach and Theo has evolved significantly. Despite seeing Theo as a demon at first, Scathach now fully trusts him. In just a year, Theo strengthened her and deepened their bond. Now it's time for them to step out of their dimension.
Scathach is happy; finally, she can rest. She hasn't bathed in a long time, but Theo cleans her with a spell.
On the other hand, Theo's clones have mastered techniques to an advanced level. For instance, killing someone on one planet from another is easy with proper weapons. But if energy is added to the attack, its power becomes immeasurable.
So Theo dresses Scathach like a little girl, and they step out of the dimension.
Scathach turns back and reminds him:
Theo: Even though a year has passed inside, only ten days have passed outside. So, let's rest for a week and then resume training. Enjoy it.
Scathach smile.
Scathach: As you wish, Shisho!
And so, Theo and Scathach enter the town and go to the theater together. They watch a play about an orphan's life. Theo creates popcorn, and Scathach watches, her eyes welling up. Theo creates another batch, and Scathach takes it from him.
Scathach looks at Theo in astonishment, and Theo, without shame, leans her head on his chest, comforting her.
They head home together. That night, Scathach secretly enters Theo's room, waking him up.
Scathach, blushing.
Scathach: Father, can I sleep with you tonight?
Theo: Of course, daughter. There's always a place for you.
Scathach jumps into bed and hugs Theo tightly. Theo hugs her back, and they fall asleep together.
6 days pass
Theo wakes up, and Scathach is beside him as usual. Theo understands; that Scathach never experienced her parents' love, so she fills that void with Theo.
Theo gets up, puts on new clothes, and goes downstairs to prepare breakfast. Scathach catches the smell and joins him.
Scathach: Good morning, father.
Theo: Good morning, daughter.
(Theo wanted her to call him master(shisho) only during training.)
They have breakfast together, and when Scathach finishes, Theo starts talking.
Theo: Daughter, how about father-daughter fishing today? It'll be fun.
Scathach: YES! Please, let's go!
So they go to the River Fan in Ireland, and Theo creates fishing gear.
They fish until sunset.
Then Scathach seems to be contemplating something and turns to Theo.
Scathach: Father, can I ask you a question?
Theo: You can ask whatever you want.
Scathach's voice trembles slightly as if she's afraid to ask:
Scathach: You won't leave me like my mother did, right, father?
Theo looks at her, seeing almost tears in her eyes. He turns his head towards her and smiles.
Theo: Scathach, I know it's hard for you, your mother leaving you and killing your twin. But despite all that, don't worry. You are my daughter, and I promise to always be with you.
Scathach hugs him.
Scathach: I won't leave you either, father. Thank you for everything.
And so, the day passes, and it's time to return to their dimension.
