Reincarnation in DxD with wishes

Chapter 106: seal

Antares Was Sealed

Yes, he was sealed. He couldn't believe it himself. Damn it, these three Fates had gone insane.

Antares managed to obtain the seal, and his power was currently at High 1-A. If that cursed seal were to break, he wanted to return to his universe.

At the moment, he was trapped inside a structure, chained, and on the verge of losing his mind. He was alone, and he hated it.

He thought about all the people he had come to care about in this place. But one, in particular, lingered in his mind.

Antares: Scatch, I miss you… and my unborn child. Damn it, I need to break this seal as soon as possible.

Antares closed his eyes and put himself into a deep sleep.

Unknown Time Passed

Suddenly, Antares woke up. Someone was approaching.

He realized that standing before him was a child. Blond-haired, small in stature—but most importantly, Antares could sense a special blood connection with her.

The child stood before him, staring. Chained up, Antares looked like a statue. Then, suddenly, a voice echoed in the child's mind.

It was Antares.

Antares: Child, this place is dangerous. Why are you here?

The child puffed out her chest confidently.

Child: I'm strong! Nothing will happen to me. But why are you here?

Antares: Because of fate.

The child gave him a confused look.

Child: Fate?

Antares: Since we've met here, do you have a wish?

The child's eyes sparkled with excitement.

Child: I want to save Camelot!

Antares finally understood the child's identity she was Artoria.

Antares: I can grant your wish, but I have one condition.

The young Artoria—more precisely, Lily—became even more excited.

Lily: What is it? Anything! If you want my soul, it's yours!

A vein visibly bulged on Antares' forehead.

Antares: No. All I want is for you to repeat after me.

Lily took a deep breath and declared with determination:

"Fate has begun. Ancient Crimson King, I break your seal. Grant my wish and stand by my side on Earth. Give me the power I need."

The chains binding Antares shattered instantly. He stood up, feeling the newfound connection between himself and Lily.

He smiled and gently patted Lily's head.

Antares: Believe me, child… this is the best decision of your life.
