Reincarnated into pokemon world as a Fanfic

Yes this is my turn. As I was walking towards the stadium I can hear a lot of whispers around me where people discussed lot of things

"It's the youngest, will his pokemon be as powerful as that Glaceon?? "

"I don't think so do you think it's child's play to control such pokemons just with good control Reiss has shown his talent"

"Well it was obvious they inherited it from the Duke"

"Don't you know 4th Duchess also is very talented pokemon trainer"

"really? "

"Yes I am also not sure but I heard it she was very powerful pokemon trainer but she came from different kingdom so not much information is known about it"

"Ohh that should be very powerful background"

As I heard this for first time

What really? I knew she was strong pokemon trainer just seeing her blue aura pokemons but didn't knew such thing is also there coming from different kingdom, most probably a powerful background very troublesome.

I just kept aside these thoughts which I will think about it later as I concentrate on the match before I walked into stadium stood on the spot watching that Gible.

I knew this Gible was strong but it is beyond expectations. And not even just strong it is also very smart.

Before I thought I could just use some tactics to win this as I got Snorunt but it is not possible now.

If I really wanted to win this it is not difficult with advance tactics like controlling whether, hiding in mist, taunting Gible here and there, waring out his enery, and using ice type attacks with hiding to win this.

But the only problem is it is beyond genius. Just think of a one year old getting a pokemon half day ago , learning what moves he can perform that day will be using such advance strategies to defeat a pokemon which even twenty year old trainers with their starters with a good strategy couldn't do it just ridiculous.

If I do such a thing I will be regarded as prodigy of the century or something second coming of Grandfather level trainer.

And what will happen if I get such status. Of course I will get lot of attention with very good pokemons which family can afford and good resources. With the cost of all eyes on me with expectations and jealousy, many people will trouble me in lot of ways, even imperial family with other Duke families will get involved, I am not even thinking about other Kingdom's. Even as I am it's still not problem for me but the only problem is hiding is everything. The joy which you get from hiding your potential and display your brilliance with hidden identity is the greatest joy in the lifetime.

My last life I also enjoyed the life with this I don't even regret any decisions made and in this life also I don't want to loose that joy.

What of the powerful pokemon I will get from Grandfather I can just catch by myself when I am powerful. Just by exploring the wild I will encounter lot of high level pokemons which I can catch.

If this Gible was less powerful or really dumb then I really wanted it to defeat it with average tactics which will make me stand out for some time but not much but now no chance.

With these thoughts I threw the pokeball.

"Go Snorunt!! "

As Snorunt entered the stadium he also saw Gible opposite to him and became nervous immediately.

Even the Gible who saw Snorunt had a grin on his smile and doing hand gestures saying

"Come here little brother, today big brother will teach you how to fight"

Well looking at them I think Gible was caught before Snorunt so it thinks it's his Junior.

Sorry Snorunt today this big brother of yours will really teach you about how you shouldn't hear commands of your such a naive trainer blindlessly.

"Begin"

With this sound match started and immediately I used the move.

"Snorunt use Ice beam!! "

As Ice beam traveled lot of distance Gible causally dodged it and started running towards Snorunt.

"Snorunt use ice shard!! "

This time also Gible dodged it even through it got hit by some part of the impact it was nothing. As it came close and close I started panicking. Of course this is my high standard acting which can even fool father.

"Snorunt use double team and flee from there!! "

Well even before hearing this Snorunt had started fleeing , after hearing the command with double team it started running in every direction which started confusing Gible.

Gible who was happy looking lot of juniors started going behind each of them punching with which the clones started disappearing one by one.

After some time seeing only three clones remained I gave command again.

"Snorunt use Hail!! "

As I gave the command icy mist started forming on the battleground.

People around the stadium also couldn't see a thing for some time but it will not last for long.

"What is going on which move is this? "

"That Snorunt is very good at fleeing how many times it will save himself from Gible"

"Also if this move was there why didn't he used it from the start it would be very advantageous and then bombard it with ice attacks"

"Well what you expect from a one year old and his first match what he has shown is good enough"

"But still it just because Snorunt is old Duke's pokemon."

As this talk was going on I started going on rampage.

"Snorunt use ice beams back to back!! "

With this people started seeing flash of lights from one direction to another and then after some time from other direction.

Even the temperature started dropping with stadium floor started freezing. Gible couldn't see a thing which is advantageous to Snorunt who can also not see the opponent but sense the direction he is in.

After such five or six ice beams consecutively Snorunt got exhausted and even the most surrounding the stadium started disappearing.

Just looking at the shear destruction of the stadium by ice beam people started grasping.

"Such a strength , it even looks stronger than the Glaceon which appeared previously. "

"If I was against it I would have been done for, with just 3,4 ice beams it will be enough to defeat my starter"

Meson and Lucan looking at the fight also got excited they knew Snorunt was powerful and even though the strategy was rough and can be improved a lot still it worked somehow.

First and second brother were also nervous. Second brother was still angry that youngest was performing better than him.

Lina was looking without any emotions and Fifth brother who has not yet got his chance was looking with smile on his face but his eyes were didn't have any emotions.

Reiss was looking at battle with gipping on his pokeball. All were waiting for the results.

And as the mist completely dissipated all could see there were two Snorunt each on the opposite side of the stadium. That was exceptional it was still holding on double team after using exhausted for such time. But Gible was nowhere to be seen.

As I also acted like I was surprised and started searching for Gible here and there the Snorunt who was standing on the opposite side of stadium got disappeared with loud thud and Gible appeared from the ground jumping on the stadium.

"Dig!!! "

"How did I forgot such a basic move it was using again and again for so much time!! "

"I also forgot, does that mean that Gible didn't got hit any ice beam? "

"Well it doesn't look hurt at all"

People started mumbling again with some excited shouts coming from here and there.

Well it was obvious it will use dig why so many people are surprised. Even though I can have such tricks defeating Gible with 2 or 3 hits is almost impossible as Snorunt doesn't have such a powerful attack. Even the ice beam will damage a lot but still 3,4 such perfect attacks still not much for beating it. If it was game it would be enough as ice type can have type advantage but in this world there exist type advantage but it's not like any type advantage will have double the damage and half the damage it depends on quality of the pokemon's attribute. By seeing previous battles and seeing it's ice punch I knew it type advantage will not help that much.

So my plan was always to loose gracefully not very good impression but also I don't want bad impression which will again take me into people spotlight as the waste of main family or something. Huh.. being average is the most difficult thing in the world.

Now as the Gible started coming the exhausted Snorunt still holding the grin on his face from the start Snorunt suddenly started looking back and forth between Gible and me who was frozen on spot unable to give next command.

"I knew it, I knew that old man was bad luck from the start when he entered our clan and the chose me. I was greedy at that time for the food in his hand and wanted to eat it every day. But at what cost getting beaten every day by the seniors. Even though I didn't get good food in my clan I was the top prodigy beating others whenever I wanted!! "

"Snorunt, snor... Snorunt.. runt!! "

Probably that was Snorunt telling me. Don't take it to heart I just feel he is telling me that I don't speak and translate pokemon language.

Well sorry Snorunt it will be over very soon.

With this I composed myself again and started commanding.

"Now Snorunt use ice shard!! "

The exhausted Snorunt some used ice shard which was weak from the previously used one showing it's exhaustion.

This time Gible didn't even dodge directly using Dragon rush approaching while taking some damage from ice shard but it's speed still increasing.

In Panic as Gible got lot closer I used the only move to save myself.

"Use protect!! "

With a sheild appearing in front of Snorunt it stopped Gibles attack but with the impact Snorunt again got pushed back by some distance.

And with this the end....

I started muttering some attack names..

"Ice.. Ice..... what was it again? "

Well this was the novice mistake of forgetting attack moves in pressured situation it is common in new trainers and I am average trainer with first match and in front of lot of people and the opponent pokemon will most probably win once it gets closer.

Within the time frame the Gible got lot closer again using dragon rush almost 2,3 m from Snorunt which is lot closer by the way for dragon rush.

I blurrted out my last move which doesn't make sense at all.

"Snorunt Hyperbeam!! "

As soon as Snorunt heard this his eyes went white and very quickly a orange sun like ball appeared before it and from that highly concentrated energy a beam appeared. It was happening so quickly that the Gible who was just 3 m away has not even crossed 1 m distance with dragon rush.

As the powerfully concentrated hyperbeam hit the Gible in an instant Gible with the hyperbeam reached the opposite end of the stadium wall and the hyperbeam not even stopping hitting the barrier of the stadium which started shaking the whole stadium but after some time the invisible barrier with some cracks visible started repairing itself and also started suppressing the hyperbeam impact.

With hyperbeam gone all stadium was silent , all just heard a thud where they can see Gible who almost burried in the stadium wall fell on the ground with face facing the ground.

Stadium was still silent waiting for something.... as all thought time was going slow the invisible Gible was not moving at all?

Even in the main hall father who was mostly indifferent in all matches showing some emotions for his children on face got astonished by the result as he looked towards his father.

Grandfather who also had small smile on his face until now froze with his smile gone seriously analying the situation.

Even I was shocked seeing this. Me and Grandfather have same thought in our mind.

When did Snorunt learn Hyperbeam!!!!!
