I am answering a question, Gods in this story are entities born out of the belief, adoration and worship of living beings. As a result, lack of belief and worship leads to gods fading away, and being forgotten is considered by them to be worse than simply dying.
They are thought-forms created by the collective belief of humanity and by the worship and rituals of religions around the world.
Gods in this are powerful like they can create storms, hurricanes, Earthquake and Tsunamis. They can bless individuals and even curse them. Even bring people back from dead....etc. But they are not the same level as Biblical god from Supernatural.
Even the Biblical god here is even though he is like his Lucifer counterpart,he is still born out of belief and faith.
These beings because they rely on faith, they are careful about how they use there powers. I mean there are gods like Greeks who go on temper tantrums, but the rest know the value and each are in race to get more territory or followers from either capturing or converting others.
