Reincarnated in the Marvel Universe— A Beginning of a New Life

THIRD POV—

Mother Night was standing just outside Donald's mansion. Some of her underlings spotted Stella in Virginia, and found out that she was living in that mansion. So, as a devoted devotee of Red Skull, she, herself went there to investigate herself.

Entering the mansion, she started searching everywhere for some clues. She believed that instead of living there quietly, Stella would be searching for SHIELD.

After carefully investigating for almost half an hour, Mother Night found that the mansion belonged to someone called Donald Blake. He was a renowned surgeon.

Finding that information, she climbed down the stairs, and entered the living room. Just as she entered, her eyes fell on Kryon. Weird. Was keeping a head in the living room a trend or something?

At that very moment, Kryon's eyes fell on her. Mother Night was shocked. She rubbed her eyes to check what she saw was right or not? Did that head's eyes really move? That was her only thought. Looking him carefully, she found something was stuffed in his mouth. Walking towards him, she pulled out it from his mouth.

Kryon coughed, "D-damn t-that bitch!"

Mother Night frowned. She hadn't encountered anything like a talking head, all her life. But she wasn't shocked at all. She knew that there were countless weird things all around the whole planet. She asked, "What are you? You are not just a talking head, are you?"

Kryon scoffed, "No, I am a kronan."

Kronan? Raising her left eyebrow, she asked, "What's that?"

"Why should I tell you? Are you that bitch's friend or something?"

"Bitch? You mean, Stella Rogers?"

"Yes! Are you?"

She denied, "No, I am not. But tell me where is she?"

Rolling his eyes, Kryon replied, "How the fuck I would know? Do you think I would tell you anything?"

Touching her necklace, Mother Night smirked, "You don't need to say anything? I can just get it from you by my own."

"What—"

Kryon wasn't complete his sentence as Mother Night put her hand on his head's top, and her necklace released a gas, making him unable to say anything. His vision was also affected by that gas. It was as if Kryon was losing both his consciousness and control over his body.

Smiling widely, she said, "Now, you will answer my each and every question, right?"

Kryon monotoned, "Yes, Mistress. I am your humble servant; I will do everything whatever that you demand from me."

(Scene Change)

Donald always knew from his birth that life was unfair. He was an orphan. He was highly intellectual, but he was physically disabled. All his accomplishments were nothing against the label of crippled. It took him years to reach the position where he was today. Years of hardship, determination, and preservation. Along the way, his ex-girlfriend, Jane Foster broke up with him. She told him that she wanted to focus on her career like he hid. He had met her when she was just a nurse at his hospital. After breaking up with him, she went on with her career in the field of astrophysics, leaving him heartbroken.

It's been two years since that incident, and he still hadn't moved on. He was thinking about that while crossing the road.

Donald was in Virginia to attend a medical conference. Just as he was about to cross the road, someone hit him with their car. It didn't hit very hard but still, he fell down on the ground from its impact.

It was a woman who hit him. A very beautiful, heavenly woman came out from her car. He was stunned. He was so mesmerized that he forgot all of his anger for a moment. All his entire life, he hadn't seen such a woman. But remembering what she hit him, he ignored her stunning appearance and started to yell at her. He told her to go away, which she did and tried to stand up on his own. But he failed. Just as he was about to give up, the woman came back. Thinking that she would help him, he tried to order her to help him.

Instead of helping him, she started to ridicule him. Her replies were full of snarky comments and sarcastic dialogues. At that moment, he knew that he had said too much to her. Obviously, it was his mistake that he wasn't looking at the road while crossing. He was completely engrossed in his thoughts of his past relationship. If he was careful then, the car wouldn't have hit him.

After some pleading, she helped him. He was shocked when she lifted him like he was a feather. He had never seen such a strong girl. She was very petite yet, she easily lifted him. Placing him in the car, she asked him where he wanted to go, for which he asked her to take him to the Inova Fairfax Hospital, which she did but after mocking him a bit.
