( Yuuki's POV )

I didn't need to go anywhere to talk to Melina, she was always watching but didn't come out when others were present, the rest of the girls knew about her and I was going to tell them that they needed to talk to her but when I turned to them I noticed that they were strangely quiet.

Yuuki: What's wrong?

Shera: What was that transformation?

Yuuki: What, I didn't tell you, I'm a dragon.

The girls put on a shocked expression but I was confused why Astraea reacted like that when she already knew about it.

Yuuki: Astraea, you already knew that.

Astraea: Huh really? Mmm oh right you and Lucoa are both dragons.

Erica: I don't like the sound of that, wait a minute didn't you say you were an alien?

Lisanna: I'm a little confused.

Yuuki: I'm both, but there will be time to talk about that later.

I gave the girls a new mission and I then went to talk to Melina, sitting near site of grace waiting for her to materialize but she was taking her time.

Yuuki: Oh my precious companion, can you give me your guidance?

Melina: ... Do you need my assistance?

Yuuki: You've been a bit cold lately, is there a problem?

Melina: What you choose to do or who you ally yourself with is none of my concern but I think you should stay away from the blue witch, I don't think you need her to accomplish your goals, although I don't know exactly what those are.

Yuuki: I'm feeling a bit of jealousy there, don't worry, you're my number one companion.

Melina: ... You wanted to go to the roundtable hold? I can take you there.

Melina remained serious against my attitude and when I gave her a wink, she transported me to an unknown place but the huge round table in front of me told me that I was in the right place.

Nepheli: Yuuki, you finally decided to come.

The first person I met was a familiar face, the warrior Nepheli was in front of me and after a short greeting she took me to where Roderika was.

She no longer had her red hood and she was sitting in front of some tools, it seems that she had a job in this place.

Yuuki: Hi Roderika, it's good to see you again.

Roderika: Oh Yuuki, it's you, nice to see you again, I've heard your name a lot around here recently, it's amazing that you've gotten another two Great Runes.

Yuuki: It's nothing really, I'm more curious about what you have here.

Roderika: Well, I'm now a spirit-tuning apprentice, it's not a big deal but I'm very excited about this.

Yuuki: If it's a big deal, that's an impressive talent, I've been looking for someone like you.

Roderika: R-Really? Well I'll be happy to help you with all your spirit tuning needs, I just need the necessary materials.

With that interesting discovery from Roderika, I spent more time than expected talking to her.

After my meeting with Roderika, a series of events unfolded that had me flying all around the lands between.

First, Ranni told me about the next part of her plan, it was to explore a hidden city that a path was opened by the meteorite that appeared when I defeated Radahn, that to retrieve a special dagger, I did that and gave the dagger to Ranni.

Then she pointed me in the direction of something that could be useful to me and my quest to take the throne of the Elden lord, I don't know when that became my quest but I was interested nonetheless, but before that I returned to Caelid.

Scarlet rot, it was something that was poisoning the lands of Caelid, and I wanted to fix that, but to do that I needed to know more about the infection, with the girls we explored the place for samples and information which led us to a strange old man who gave me a gold needle and asked me to help a woman being afflicted with Scarlett rot, of course I accepted and we got there quickly.

The woman in question was called Millisent and to help her I had to inject the golden needle into her body, that didn't cure her but she felt much better now, she said she had a mission to accomplish so we let her go, as a reward for helping her I took a sample of her blood.

Then I went to where Ranni had pointed me and after facing a minor guard I found a corpse with a death rune on its body, I don't know why Ranni thought this would help me but then I remembered that on my recent visit to the roundtable hold there was someone talking about living in death, I followed that lead but she was no longer in the roundtable hold.

I gave the task of tracking down that person to Astraea and I returned to Ranni's tower to question her about the strange rune but she was not present, searching for her I found a portal in a room above where she always was.

As I crossed the portal I ended up in an unknown place with some coffins around me and inside one of them was a miniature Ranni doll, this was not just any doll so I took it with me.

Then I sat down on a seat of grace and carefully placed the doll next to me and I began to stare at it, nothing happened and I stared harder and harder and after a few minutes of intense staring Ranni's voice came out of the little doll.

Ranni: My kindred soul, is it your habit of collecting and staring at random dolls? it makes me doubt our kinship.

Yuuki: only special dolls and I would think that someone with two different doll bodies would be someone who would appreciate them.

Ranni: What really brings you here, I doubt you only made the trip to talk about my body.

Yuuki: Why are you so sure that's not exactly why I came.
