Reincarnated in DXD with a summoning system

It was my birthday, my fourth year in this world. It was also the fourth year since this host body of mine lost his family. I didn't get to know them. My memories of my own family in my last life was all too fresh in my head. I knew I would never see them again. I looked in some far-off hope that I might reconnect to some version of them. No house on the edge of a small town. No one existed with their names. I didn't find some version of my old self or my older sisters. Nothing when I died I lost all my ties to my past life. But I wasn't the only person that lost people that day. And that brings me to here. Leaning against a grave listing to a girl talk about her life. Her love of a pervy boy. And how much she missed them. 

"I've made a few friends. Katase and Murayama are really into kendo. I think they might also have a crush on Issei. Then there is Aika Kiryuu… she is nice but a little too handsy. I sometimes think she is a bigger prev than Issei. She has a big crush on one of Issei's prev friends. She sometimes pushes me to be a little more daring… that's my best word for it. The Hyoudou family has been really welcoming. They treated me well. I found it really embracing that Issei thought I was a boy for the longest time. But I got him to promise me that I would be all of his frists. I took his frist kiss that day and he took mine. I know I can't keep him all to myself. It's his big dumb dream to be a harem king. But I will be his first wife. I will see him through all his journeys. But for that, I need to be strong. Stronger than I am right now. I need to be able to stand by his side and protect him. Well, that's all I have to say. Goodbye for now." Irina laid down some lilies on her parent's grave. It took her a minute to recompose herself. "Thank you for waiting. I just need to talk to them."

"No problem. I could of looked for you another day but I needed you to be alone." Lex said his voice distorted by his keyblade armor.

"So what do you want with me, Mr Silver Knight?" Irina asked looking at Lex

"You were never meant to live this life that you are right now. Your fate was changed and you lost those you shouldn't have lost years in advance. You were supposed to be in England right now learning how to be an exorcist with your comrade in arms Xenovia Quarta. But now you are staying with your best friend the Red Dragon Emperor." Lex said

"Why tell me all this? What is your goal with all this?" Irina asked her fists clenched

"I foresee that one day you and your friend Issei will be dragged into a world beyond your current understanding. A world that you would of been prepared for if things went how they were supposed to go. But now you don't have the guidance of the church, the training of an exorcist, or a blade to protect what you hold dear. I am willing to give you something that will help you if you are willing." Lex said 

"What are you asking for in return? Nothing is for free." Irina 

"I wish for you to protect the ones you love. This world faces a terrible fate and it will take you and those you have yet to meet. You might say I feel slightly guilty. I wasn't able to save your family. For one who foresees fate, I feel responsible for letting things go off track." Lex

"I understand… I am willing to accept your gift." Irina got on her knees 

Lex summoned his keyblade and held it by the blade. "In your hand, take this Key. So long as you have the makings, then through this simple act of taking, its wielder you shall one day be… And you will find me, friend,—no ocean will contain you then. No more borders around, below, or above.So long as you Champion the Ones you Love." Irina put her hand on the blade handle. Irina felt the power from the keyblade wash over her leaving an ember in her heart.

Irina took her hand off the handle and placed it on her chest. "How will I call forth the blade?"

"May your heart be your guiding key. You ultimately need to do what your heart feels is right. Well now TTFN." Lex walked backward into a portal made of darkness.

"TTFN?" Irina felt even more confused. Irina went back home feeling the embers growing stronger within her.

"Are you quite sure that was wise? You have yet to hold the rank of keyblade master yourself, but you still sire an apprentice." Lavenza 

"It is what my heart guided me to do. I ruined her life by coming to this world this is the least I can do for her." Lex said unsummoning his keyblade armor.

"Verry well, are we still planning on interfering with the death of the Miko?" Lavenza

"Indeed."

Asia was confused. Where was Issei? Where was the rest of Rias's peerage? Why is Rias so small? Why was Asia so small? Then she saw herself in the mirror. Why did she have antlers and wolf features? 

"Rias what happened to me? Why are we so small? Where is Issei- owch" Aisa felt mass pain when she said Issei's name. Rias's nose was bleeding. Asia quickly ran over to Rias and summoned her sacred gear twilight healing.

"I'm sorry Asia, but what do you mean? Who did you ask about?" Rias

"You know Iss- ow" Asia felt as she coughed out blood. Her body felt like it was being torn apart every time she tried to say Issei's name. Is it just Issei? "What about Xeno-" Asia saw as Rias was bleeding and her own pain got worse. "Okay what about Ros-" nope more pain. Asia saw as her skin was getting covered by an ash color fur. "Ake-" nope can't pain is just to much. I'm going to exhaust twilight healing at this rate. I let my healing do it's work before calming down a bit. Asia had one last name. "Where is Koneko?" No pain this time. But she noticed Rias was out cold.

Asia walked around the room looking at the mirror seeing her reflection she looked like a wolf/dear/human hybrid. Asia felt strong. She was able to bend solid steel with ease. She had sharp claws in this new form of hers. Asia felt she could tape into more strength but she felt something bad would happen to her if she did. Her healing even felt like it had been made stronger. But right now she wanted to go back to normal. Asia focused and saw as her fur receded and became her normal skin again. Her claws became little more than slightly long nails. Her muzzle became her normal human face. She couldn't seem to get rid of new ears, tail, or antlers. So she used a glamore spell to conceal them. She had to make use of glamor more than once to hide Issei's dragon build-up. 

The last thing Asia remembered was Issei getting poisoned and having to be saved by Ophis and Great Red. Everything after that was a blurry mess. She could have sworn she remembered being called Vicar Amelia of the healing church for some time. But those memories were of her drowning in blood. It made her feel sick. But she felt she could draw the strength to fight from it. To defend her fellow peerage members. 

 But now she is in a version of her younger body. She had been taken in by Rias early for some reason that was beyond her. It was so early. Rias hadn't even recruited Kiba yet. Rias had recruited her early. And now she couldn't pray again and she couldn't talk about Issei or anyone Rias hadn't met yet. It would cause both of them great pain if she tried.

Now all she could do was wait. Well wait and train her new form and powers. She will wait till she got to meet Issei again. And this time she would do all the things Xenovia and Kiryuu would talk about and make her blush. At least this time she had a few friends in her life. Will Issei even like me this time around? I'll be older than him mentally… Well, he liked Rosswise so I should be fine. I wonder if he will be into my fluffy form?

(AN: Sorry for flip flopping 1st and 3rd person with Asia here. But I'm not fixing it.)

"Moma! Are you okay? Where is papa?" Akeno asked looking at her mother who had just taken an arrow to the the side.

"Akeno dear, I need you to listen to me. I need you to run away from the temple and don't look back! You need to run and hide. Trust me we wi-" Shuri Himejima was stopped by an arrow coming out of her chest. Akeno saw as her mother fell forward dead. 

"MOOOOOMMMMMAAAA!!!!" Akeno ran and kept on running. Her tears fell. She felt the pain of loss and rage towards her father for not being around to protect his family. Akeno spent the next few weeks begging for food working as a Miko. On one of her jobs, she drew the attention of Rias Gremory. With little to no other options, she took Rias up on her offer to join her peerage.

"What a shame they had to part ways like this." Kuroka said undoing her illusions to reveal a sleeping Shuri Himejima with a treated arrow wound.

"It had to be this way. Shuri had to die for the whole clan to think she is dead. Akeno had to run or she would have been killed by the clan. But at least this way they might meet again." Lex picked up the unconscious older woman.

"Well, that's something I'm going to have to tell Yasaka about." Lex

"Shuri Himejima has been cursed with eternal sleep." Lavenza "What an odd condition for the curse to end." Lavenza said appearing out of nowhere.

"AHHH, stop doing that!" Kuroka yelled jumping to the roof.

"All attacking clans men dealt with. Baraqiel is still four minutes out. The fire set to go off in a minute." Yoruichi 

"Well, we were leaving anyway. I'll open a path." Lex opened a dark corridor to Kyoto.

"Big sis you're back!" Shirone tackled Kuroka

"What, I don't get a hug?" Yoruichi 

"No ero neko." Shirone

Lex made his way to talk with Yasaka and hand Shuri over to her care. "So you are asking me to keep her existence to myself until I'm next approached by Azazel." Yasaka

"Well, it's my best bet for now. When I altered fate this time it inflicted a curse on Shuri Himejima. Which is better than her just being dead. But anyway Akeno must still become a part of Rias Gremory's peerage. I think there will be more backlash if that dosen't happen. So for now Baraqiel must not find out the true fates of Shuri and Akeno." Lex

"Very well. Are you planning to stay for dinner? Kunou has been wanting to play with you again." Yasaka

"She is just wanting to steal my hat again. If it wouldn't be too much of a bother I would like to stay until Shirone finishes her senjutsu training. I want things to calm down in Kuoh before I return." Lex

"Well if that's what you want, you'll be waiting till the end of the year. With her rate of progress, she will be done training by the end of January at the latest. It should be fine." Yasaka 

"I'll be 11 when I get to Kuoh. Not too much more time left till I start high school." Lex 

"Four years is indeed a short time. Oh, you might want to know your hat has run off." Yasaka giggled

"Fiddlesticks. Kunoh when I find you I won't have mercy!" Lex ran to find where his hat went.

"I'm so glad to be home again." Lex said sprawling out on the floor. 

"I concur it is pleasant to return to our main domicile." Lavenza

"Well, no more delays you have had those summon cards for years now. Now it's time for me to get some fresh meat to play with I mean train. Yes… train." Yoruichi

"Uggh, fine let's get started." Lex rolled over and stood up holding his first summon card. "I call you from beyond the chains of time and space to come serve me."

Black and red lighting coalesced into a female body made of galaxies, eyes, and angel wings. Her hands looked to be DNA helixes. I saw she incarcerated the couch with her presentence. 

"Somethings wrong! Lavenza you're on barrier detail with me." Kuroka 

"Well, she is a mess. Someone tried to make a scientific angel. What a poor creature." Lavenza 

"No fucking shit. STOPZA!" Lex saw as the world around him was mostly frozen. Some of the black lighting coming from Misaka Mikoto was slowly moving and Lavenza didn't seem at all effected by my use of time magic. I took out the rest of my pawns and used them on Misaka Mikoto. Her wings around her body cocooned until my time spell ended. Then her cocoon of wings exploded sending white feathers everywhere.

Mikoto's body now looked closer to that of a twelve years old redhead with two sets of wings. One was an odd-looking pair of angel wings, the other was the normal set of devil wings. Well she could no longer be compared to a wash borde in the chest department.

"Raptaili can you please fetch her a bathrobe or blanket?" Lex was using his magic to place seals on her power.

"Here you go! I brought a few more just in case this happens with the rest of the summons." Raptalia

"Thank you very much. If you wouldn't mind please put Misika Mikoto on a bed." Lex

"Got it." Raptalia 

"You sure you want to continue?" Yoruichi asked her hair looking like she just took a large static shock.

"Well, you know what they say in for a penny in for a pound." Lex used another card

This time what looked to be an orange-haired girl encased in a green crystal. The girl smashed her way out of the green crystal. "Can I have a minute?" the girl asked

"Sure take time for whatever you need." Lex the girl flew onto the top of the house and cried for a few minutes.

"Okay, I'm ready my name is Penny Polendina. I'm a Bio-Mechanical Android that is the current host of the Winter Maiden powers. Oh and on a fun side note currently going through rapid cell death due to an attack inflicted to me by one Cinder Fall. So if you wouldn't mind please hand me what you need to save me. I would be of better service as a living Individual instead of a dead one." Penny

"Penny Polendina are you willing to join my family?" Lex

"I am without objection." Penny

"Then with my power as the Master of House Laplace, I declare you as my devil servant and Rook. Now rise and stand by my side Penny Polendina." Lex

The Rook became one with Penny Polendina. Her body was covered in snow for a moment after that a pair of robotic-looking devils came out of her back. "Well it appears I am no longer in immediate danger of cell death. That is sensational! Quick question. Why have I lost biomass? I should be taller and have a more developed figure." Penny 

"I have no idea why shrunk down to the size of a 12-year-old. Maybe it's a side effect from the Rook trying to heal your damaged body." Lex

"Okay, I will take that as the most plausible answer until I find evidence that contradicts that answer with a more compelling answer." Penny

"Ugh, why is she so hard to understand? It's not as bad as Lavenza but I still feel like I need a dictionary just to understand her." Shirone complained her ears were flopped down.

"Well, any which waves last card time." Lex

What lay in front of Lex was the mostly dead body of a fox girl. Well, at least she looks older than 12. It looks like was stabbed through the heart and barely clinging to life. Not much else to do Lex used his bishop to save the poor girl. The main entrance to the house being smashed down distracted everyone from seeing the fox girl transformation into a devil. 

"Alexander Laplace! Where the hell have you been all this time!" A short woman in a magical girl outfit yelled from the broken down door.

"Michael look! Look!" Gabriel

"Okay, Gabriel what am I supposed to be looking at?" Michael

"We had a new angel appear and connect to the SYSTEM for all of half a minute. See where it left its mark!" Gabriel said pointing to a cluster of points that had electrical burns.

"And you sure it was an Angel? That doesn't make sense. The brave saints system has yet to be finished and we both know Father is gone." Michael

"I know what I saw! I'm going to go look for the new Angel!" Gabriel

"Just be carful we don't need another angel to fall or for you to start another war by accident." Michael

"Don't worry I won't cause any harm." With that, Gabriel disappeared from the sixth heaven
