Reincarnated In Ben 10

Chapter 22: New Transformation

Laughter filled the tent as Zombozo's performance continued, his sinister machine siphoning the joy from the audience. "I already set up multiple protection spells to protect my psyche," Fred muttered as he stood up. The crowd was in a daze, laughter pouring out like a broken record, their consciousness slipping away.

Fred didn't bother to hide. He swiftly changed his outfit, donning a plain white wooden mask with only three holes. It was a simple, emotionless design. His clothes morphed into a cyberpunk style: a bold, all-red tech-wear jacket, sleek and streamlined, with functional black and yellow accents adding an edgy, high-tech flair. Red shorts paired with black and red compression pants, and sneakers combining red, black, and yellow elements completed the look. He changed so quickly that Zombozo, engrossed in his feeding, didn't notice a thing.

"Magic sure is handy," Fred muttered, leaping onto the stage. "Alright, you've had your laughs, now it's time to take you down."

Zombozo's gaze fixed on Fred, his twisted grin unfaltering. "What's this? Don't you know it's rude to disturb someone who's feeding?" he mocked.

"I'm not really in the mood, so I'll make this quick," Fred replied, his voice dripping with resolve. In an instant, he transformed into an Otsutsuki, his presence commanding and fearsome.

Zombozo's laughter echoed through the arena, the crowd oblivious to the brewing chaos. "Is that supposed to scare me!?" he sneered, drawing more power from their laughter. "I'll teach you a lesson for messing with me!"

Fred stood calmly amidst the hysteria, eyes glimmering with a myriad of doujutsu. "Hmm, a weird mix, these eyes of mine—Kokugan, Senrigan, Pure Eye. More of a high-ranking Otsutsuki than Ishiki," he mused, curiosity twinkling in his gaze. "Genjutsu in this world... if I alter my DNA, making myself a mana-based life form, my abilities might function as spells rather than ninjutsu."

A ferocious purple aura encased Fred momentarily before dissipating. "This feels... nice," he said, his transformation complete. He disappeared in a flash, reappearing above Zombozo, startling him with his speed. "Wha..." Zombozo gasped, just before Fred's punch connected with his face, sending him flying.

*Kuaa* Zombozo coughed, struggling to rise. "That tether is latched on pretty tight," Fred remarked, shrinking the device that linked Zombozo to his machine.

"You... How dar—" Zombozo's words were cut short by another punch, this time crushing his nose and sending him crashing into his machine, which shattered on impact.

The crowd's laughter ceased, replaced by confusion. "Hahahaha... H... Wha... What happened?" They blinked, disoriented, as they regained their senses. "Uh... my head," Max groaned, clutching his temples. Gwen shook her head, trying to piece together the events.

Screams erupted as the crowd spotted Zombozo, tied up next to his broken machine with a note revealing his misdeeds. "Ben?" Max and Gwen exclaimed, searching for their hero.

"Not quite," Fred replied casually, standing next to them in his normal state, his clothes a different color. "But I'm sure he took care of the rest."

Max and Gwen exchanged bewildered glances, unsure of Fred's cryptic message. The crowd, hazy with confusion from the recent events, began to disperse. By the entrance to the now deserted circus, the rust bucket stood waiting.

Ben arrived, his expression puzzled as he noticed the retreating crowd and the police moving in. "What happened?" he asked as he stepped into the rust bucket.

Max, with a knowing look, replied, "It seems Zombozo wasn't your run-of-the-mill clown."

Gwen, concern etched on her face, asked, "What about you? Where were you?"

Ben recounted his encounter with the circus freaks, his voice filled with a mix of frustration and relief. "Anyway, I'm just glad we're leaving this place," he said, leaning back in his seat, exhaustion washing over him.

"Not so fast, kiddo," Max interrupted, steering the rust bucket towards a motorhome parking site. "We'll be staying here for the night."

Ben groaned, "Aw man, do we really have to stay in this place? I'm sick of it already."

Fred, who had been silent until now, suddenly perked up. "Right, that reminds me," he said, getting out of the vehicle.

"Hmm, what's with him?" Gwen wondered aloud, glancing at Ben who simply shrugged.

Curiosity getting the better of them, they followed Fred outside. "Whatcha doing this late?" Gwen asked, her voice tinged with both curiosity and annoyance.

Fred grinned, "I figured I'd pull an all-nighter and do some heavy renovations."

The others looked at him, bewildered. Gwen, shaking her head, said, "Just make sure to keep it down, would ya?" She headed back to sleep, while Ben decided to stick around, intrigued by Fred's mysterious plan.

Fred, now in his element, created a tiny bubble about two meters in diameter and pulled out the spaceship from before, still shrunk to the size of a microwave. "Soundproof check," he murmured to himself, satisfied with the bubble's effectiveness. "Now for the fun part."

With a mischievous glint in his eye, Fred shrunk in size, transforming into an UpRigg coupled with Grey Matter. He set to work, his movements quick and precise. Not long after, Ben returned to the rust bucket and drifted off to sleep, leaving Fred to his renovations.

"It's finished! I've done it!" Fred chuckled, his voice filled with pride as he stood, covered in oils and grime. He marveled at the newly renovated ship, still shrunk but no less impressive. From outside the soundproof bubble, he looked like a madman, talking to himself in eerie silence.

"It's still morning and you're already scaring our neighbors," Gwen said, walking up to him. Despite the sound barrier, Fred heard her clearly.

"Huh? Oh, it's morning already?" Fred remarked, turning to see Gwen approaching. A wide grin spread across his face.

"You seem happy," she observed, a hint of curiosity in her tone.

"Well, of course! Look," Fred said, presenting his masterpiece. "Although I borrowed the design from a space mercenary named Krishna, it's even fitted with a space rune. Even at full size, the interior is bigger than the exterior. The defense system can withstand an incursean planet-destroying beam, and don't get me started on the offensive capabilities..." Fred rambled on excitedly.

Gwen's eyes glazed over as Fred delved into the technical details. Realizing he was losing her, he cleared his throat. "Ahem... Aria."

"What?" Gwen responded, confusion etched on her face.

"Her name's Aria," Fred said, referring to his ship with a fond smile.

"R-Right," Gwen replied, clearly uninterested. "I'll go brush my teeth now," she said, walking away.

"Right, I should wash up," Fred said, still beaming. He shrunk down and entered his ship, which he had made as luxurious as possible. Inside, he couldn't help but smile, eager to spend more time in his newfound haven.
