Chapter 2: Note
Note: Yeah, honestly, this is the first time I've written an Eldritch Horror story where they invade an anime world and transform the heroines' obsessive hearts into reality-bending, monstrous creatures—as long as their hearts are cracked. For now, the antagonist in the story remains vague, and the true source of this twisted abomination will be kept secret for a while.
I guess some of you probably already know that Eldritch Creatures or some Evil God are the sources of this nightmare and mental pollution. I might also incorporate elements of the Old Testament into this.
This is a story about how the MC survives, saves himself, the heroines, and the world—using morally questionable methods. So, yeah, even though his cause may be righteous, he'll occasionally resort to greater evils to solve the problem. His enemies are Eldritch Horrors, after all. You've seen how insane the MC becomes in his diary when pushed too far.
For now, he's still a decent human being, currently in a lawful good state. Over time, he'll shift to chaotic good, then chaotic neutral, and eventually become lawful evil under the constant torture of Eldritch Horrors and the nightmares he endures to survive and save the Multiverse from their invasion.
Yes, I want to create a world-travel aspect into Eldritch Horror settings. For example, in the Classroom of the Elite world, it won't remain an elite competition but will transform into a deadly survival game. In Seraph of the End, which we'll visit in the future, mental pollution will also affect its world and others. What the exact details will be? Well, let the story tell itself.
Even angels in this world and others will be invaded and transformed into Old Testament forms. You'll see more of this later. Of course, Gabriel in this version will be a target of conquest—yeah, it's High School DxD, lads!
Currently, the MC is still weak, but later, he'll grow stronger through quests and completing routes of his targets in a Dating Sim game. Eventually, he'll gain the ability to bend reality, space, and time after surviving numerous trials and conquering the heroines.
Even heroines corrupted by the Eldritch Horror will retain their superhuman strength, absurd regeneration, and many more abilities—but they'll lose their reality-bending powers, which could have killed the MC instantly, once they are cured and become his allies.
But make no mistake: even if they're overpowered and the MC grows stronger, the monstrous reality-bending creatures can still kill them instantly—or almost instantly. However, the MC and his sane heroines might withstand one or two moves to escape.
That said, when the MC becomes truly overpowered—capable of destroying the Multiverse, even the Omniverse—his attack potency will scale to absurd levels. Near the end of the story, he'll be able to bend reality, time, and space and even approach Omnipotence and Omniscience.
For now, though, the MC starts as a mere chess piece—a pawn in a larger game—before growing into a monstrous being capable of bending reality to his whim and becoming the chess player.
Now, enough talking—let's begin the story!
...
Diary 1:
[When you read this Future Diary, please believe every single word it tells you. This is not a game. I learned that the hard way. In the past, I treated this world like a dating sim—a perfect playground where I could date Alya, hang out with my sister playing games, and discuss trending manga.]
[We'd laugh, argue over plot twists, and bond over shared hobbies. We even went out for ramen together, the three of us.]
[Everything was good. No—everything was perfect. At least, that's what I thought. That's probably what you'll think too.]
[But I was so, so wrong. It wasn't perfect. It was a lie, a trap, something twisted waiting for me to fall into it. It started with the ramen. My sister had recommended it enthusiastically, her eyes shining like she'd found a treasure.]
[But when I refused it because I didn't like spicy food, something shifted. I didn't notice at first, not until it was too late. My sister... changed. Alya changed. The cheerful chatter of the ramen shop faded into silence.]
[The rain outside grew heavier, pounding against the windows. The other customers vanished without a trace. My sister and Alya smiled, but something was wrong. Their smiles were too wide, too forced. They told me everything was fine, that this was normal.]
[But then their necks began to stretch, grotesquely long and unnaturally thin, like something out of a horror movie. Their eyes bled crimson, the sockets bulging until their eyeballs almost popped out. And then... I died.]
[No, that's not even the worst part. I loaded the game, thinking it was just a glitch, a bad dream. But when I came back, Alya and my sister remembered. They remembered my rejection.]
[Their twisted smiles returned, and they became something I can't even describe, something that didn't belong in this world. They killed me. Again. And again. Over and over, in ways so horrible I can't write them all down here.]
[Ah... what was I saying? Oh, right. When you read this diary, it's not too late for you. Please, eat the ramen. Even if you hate the spice, even if it burns you alive, just eat it. Loading the game won't save you.]
Diary 2:
[No... The ramen was wrong. The taste wasn't just spicy—it was like swallowing molten lava. My throat felt like it was boiling from the inside, the heat tearing through me like fire and magma. It burned so fiercely that I couldn't stop screaming, my voice raw and shredded.]
[Every breath felt like a new punishment, like the flames were spreading deeper into me. I clawed at my throat, trying to stop the pain, but it wouldn't end. The torment was beyond anything I'd ever felt, a fiery agony that wouldn't let me go.]
[When Alya and my sister saw me writhing in pain, they didn't rush to help. Instead, they grew angry. Their faces twisted with frustration, their voices hissing accusations about how I didn't appreciate their kindness. Their words were venomous, dripping with spite.]
[Then, it happened again. The same as before. Their necks stretched unnaturally, their bleeding eyes staring down at me with madness. And then they killed me. Tortured me. Again and again. In every load, no matter what I did, they were there, waiting to make me suffer.]
