The answer is Czechoslovakia.

A Central European country from the Dual Monarchy that couldn't join either Eastern or Western European spheres.

Czechoslovakia, a country born by betraying the Austrian Empire.

During the war, they cut ties with the Germanic peoples and called for their own nationalism, and after the war, they rose as an industrial nation after sucking up all of Austria's industry through absorption.

However, unfortunately, separately from that, Czechoslovakia became a country with truly unstable security.

Having a history of backstabbing, they had bad relations with Germany and Austria but also couldn't fully assimilate with our Russia.

That's when France advocates collective security and proclaims.

That even small countries don't need to cling to great powers anymore. So Czechoslovakia doesn't need to stick to them even if Germany and Russia become friendly.

Perhaps France simply doesn't like this Anglo-American-French/German-Russian structure itself.

Because once the next war breaks out, France as a country will be finished before Britain and America can help.
