Chapter 418: Chapter 110
I had taken out five jonin, and I had managed to capture a couple of them alive, unlike the more modest result of the famous Sakumo Hatake. This result raised my already low rating in the eyes of the Konoha population, so that if I was recognized on the street, even some strangers respectfully greeted me and nodded (even non-shinobi), though nothing like this had ever happened before. Though, with the speed at which rumors spread throughout Konoha, there was nothing to be surprised about.
- Sensei, may I? - Another patient knocked on the door, and the resting time was over.
- Yes, come in.

With only eight hours of work a day and two days off a week, not only was I able to take it easy and save chakra, but it also freed up a lot of time for personal research. And of course, I returned to modifying the Shikon no jutsu. The technique was different from the original, but it was far from the Shoten no jutsu used by Akatsuki in some respects.
Before I went to Suna, I had just found the right pair of spatial seals to pump chakra in both directions and successfully integrated it, increasing the number of seals to sixty-eight, but I hadn't had a chance to try it out. There was also a slight disadvantage - the technique now required me and the body being used to be keyed before it was worth trying to create it.
After all, the built-in spatial seal should identify the connection points (actually becoming the same point in space, thanks to fuinjutsu) when activated. Of course, I won't be testing it on myself, but on clones that have a fake chakra point, but are quite suitable for testing.
Having printed out the corpse, I summoned a clone and armed with a brush, began to apply the key to them, using chakra-conducting ink mixed with blood. Fortunately, they could be placed directly over the sources without having to use one of the eight gates or the many main tenketsu.
Fuinjutsu masters in general should avoid chakra emission points when applying seals to the body, otherwise there's a very good chance of random activation or even destruction of the fuin (in case of chakra overflow) when using ninjutsu. Finished with the keys, I took a deep breath and began folding the hand seals over the paper held by the kage bunshin. It was too long a chain to memorize quickly, especially since speed didn't matter right now.
After completing the tiger seal, I placed my fingertips around the key and immediately bounced back and wrapped myself in a protective barrier to watch the small curl and the chain of hieroglyphs around it grow into a brand new fuin.
A similar process could be seen on the kage bunshin, except that on it, the key had only turned into an active spatial seal. A sudden thought made me chuckle - it was the same one Minato had used, but slightly modified, to get the nine-tailed Bijudama away from Konoha. I, on the other hand, don't need anything so epic - a simple chakra transfer both ways is enough.
As soon as the formation of fuin on the corpse was complete, the second part of the technique came into play and glowing lines of chakra ran down the skin, gradually sinking into the flesh. After a moment of waiting, the dead body twitched and sat up, gaining more and more fluidity and confidence in its movements with each passing second.
- I hate this moment," the guy in Iwagakure no Sato's bloodstained chunin uniform coughed.
- Great, the technique is working, I just need to check the pumping," I muttered and nodded to the clone.
