Rebuilding Uchiha By Removing Fugaku

Chapter 69: Chapter 69

After eliminating the hidden sentries,

Toki sat down to recover his strength.

In his previous life, when Toki watched anime, he had often heard about the classifications of Chakra reserves—Jonin, Chunin, Genin. But after being reincarnated, he realized the truth.

Ninjas typically don't store much chakra in their bodies, except for a small amount in their meridians.

The so-called "Chakra Extraction Technique" was more like a martial arts technique for cultivating inner strength.

Under the control of spiritual energy, this technique extracts energy from the cells, circulates it through the meridians, and increases one's physical capabilities.

The release of this energy through various meridians results in different forms, known as "Shape Transformation" when combined with hand seals and ninjutsu.

Chakra's nature changes, however, depend on assimilation through the five internal organs:

The heart corresponds to fire,

The liver to wind,

The spleen to earth,

The lungs to lightning,

The kidneys to water.

Every individual is born with one or two organs that can easily extract chakra, giving rise to their "innate chakra attributes."

Mastery over extracting chakra from other organs to activate different chakra attributes is one of the prerequisites for becoming a Jonin.

Typically, ninjas practice chakra extraction to multitask, allowing them to draw chakra while fighting and apply it to their bodies or ninjutsu without wasting energy.

As Ebisu once explained to Naruto, chakra control is about extracting just enough chakra to execute a technique without waste.

This is why Kakashi and Zabuza, despite their expertise, were exhausted and unconscious after using just a couple of techniques.

Chakra consumption is directly tied to a ninja's life energy and physical strength.

Thus, the upper limits of a ninja's strength are determined at birth.

Ordinary individuals simply can't possess the life energy and chakra reserves of clans like Senju, Uchiha, or Uzumaki, whose bloodlines stem from the Ōtsutsuki.

No matter how hard they train, surpassing those limits and reaching levels like "Kage" is nearly impossible.

This harsh reality was what Kakashi referred to when he told Naruto that some people would always be stronger despite being younger.

The limits of ordinary individuals are locked from birth.

For someone like Kakashi, a civilian genius, his extraordinary chakra control talent allowed him to maximize every ounce of his reserves without waste.

However, the Sharingan he transplanted drained his chakra constantly, leaving him perpetually in deficit.

Now that Toki had removed Kakashi's Sharingan, it seemed like his strength had declined in the short term. But as his body continued to develop, his innate genius and chakra control would eventually help him reach the Kage level far more easily than in the original storyline.

As for Uchiha Toki, though not considered a "genius," he carried the direct bloodline of the Ōtsutsuki.

Even though Indra's inheritance leaned more toward the Divine Tree's power, the Uchiha clan's cellular energy was still several times greater than that of civilian ninjas.

The reason he had been stuck at the Jonin level was due to his abysmal chakra control.

Even with the assistance of the Sharingan, he wasted significant amounts of chakra every time he executed a technique.

However, with the emergence of his Mangekyō Sharingan and the system's "Chakra +1" enhancement, he had finally broken free from these shackles and stepped into the ranks of Kage-level powerhouses.

In the past, Toki's lack of endurance made him risk his life in every battle. His youth and poor chakra control limited him severely. At most, he could utilize 1 calorie of chakra efficiently.

But now, things were different.

Having reached the Kage level, he could finally unleash his true potential and enjoy the thrill of overwhelming power.

When the whistle sounded,

Uchiha Toki slowly stood up.

The ground shook violently as five of his shadow clones quickly sealed their hands at five key points, injecting their remaining chakra into the earth.

"Earth Release: Iron Prison!"

The entire valley sank into a massive circular pit, and towering stone walls rose to enclose the area.

At the same time, three massive fire-breathing creatures emerged from the forest and soared into the sky.

Three archers, part of Bow Team Two, stood atop the creatures and shouted orders:

"Charizards, use Flamethrower and Flame Burst!"

"ROOOAR!!"

The three enormous Charizards, each nearly four meters tall, roared and dove from the sky.

Terrifying flames spewed downward, igniting a sea of fire that spread across the valley in seconds.

The valley turned into an inferno, flames erupting and consuming everything within tens of meters.

---

Inside the valley, Koharu, Homura, and Sarutobi Shinnosuke froze in horror.

Mitokado Homura's face turned pale as he muttered, "This is bad! We've walked right into a trap!"

Suddenly, the radio crackled with the distressed voice of a captain in the ambush force.

"Captain! Our ambush formation has been breached! Half of the squads aren't responding!"

"What?! Are you idiots?!" Sarutobi Shinnosuke roared. "What happened to the traps and sensory barriers?!"

"The traps were disarmed, and the enemy exploited gaps in our barriers. If it weren't for Captain Sparrow spotting them, we might've been wiped out entirely!"

Shinnosuke was about to explode with rage when another roar echoed from the sky.

The Charizards had begun their assault, raining down jet flames comparable to B-rank ninjutsu.

Their aerial advantage rendered the ninjas below completely helpless, and screams echoed as the valley filled with chaos.

Three white-robed elite ANBU operatives stepped forward to counterattack.

One of them quickly formed hand seals and unleashed:

"Wind Release: Wind Cutter!"

Several invisible wind blades shot toward the Charizards.

Bow Two yelled, "Charizard, counter with Air Slash!"

The Charizard howled, flapping its wings to unleash a powerful blade of air that collided with the wind blades in mid-air.

The resulting explosion lit up the sky.

The ANBU captain below watched in disbelief.

"How is this damn summon so strong?!"

Bow Two and Bow Three smirked.

"Charizard, use Smokescreen!"

Thick clouds of smoke erupted from the Charizards' mouths, shrouding the entire valley in darkness.

Ninjas below coughed and struggled as the carbon monoxide-laden smoke seeped into their lungs.

The ANBU leader gritted his teeth in frustration.

"Wind Release users, disperse the smoke!"

However, in their confusion, the ninjas couldn't coordinate their directions.

As wind blasts blew in random directions, smoke was not only trapped but intensified, incapacitating many of the ninjas.

From the treetops, Toki watched and sighed.

"Rookies... They've never seen a battlefield, have they?"

Despite their numbers, their lack of experience in large-scale combat was glaringly obvious. Instead of working as a team, they still operated as isolated squads.

In reality, on the battlefield of the Ninja World War, the strength of individual ninjas often pales in comparison to the devastating effects of coordinated, large-scale, multi-ninja compound techniques.

Just as Toki had envisioned, the battlefield became a stage to demonstrate this principle.

His four remaining shadow clones positioned themselves at the riverbanks surrounding the valley. At a synchronized moment, they performed 44 intricate hand seals simultaneously, chanting in unison:

"Water Style: Great Waterfall Jutsu!"

The river erupted into chaos as massive waves surged forth, engulfing the entire valley.

The enemy ninjas, whose vision was already obscured by thick smoke, failed to anticipate the approaching onslaught. By the time they noticed, it was already too late—the waves had crashed down upon them, sweeping countless ninjas off their feet like helpless leaves caught in a storm.

The entire valley's terrain changed as the torrents converged, leaving the ninjas floundering in the deluge. Only a handful of Jonin and the likes of Koharu Utatane and Mitokado Homura managed to avoid the brunt of the attack, using Earth Style: Earth Wall to lift themselves above the flooding chaos.

Mitokado Homura stared wide-eyed at the devastation, his face pale with disbelief.

"This level of jutsu... How is it possible? Could Konoha have brought this many Jonin to the battlefield?"

The scale of the Great Waterfall Jutsu was immense—something requiring the chakra capacity and control of at least ten Jonin acting in unison. It was incomprehensible to Homura that such power could come from just one clan.

Koharu's sharp eyes caught sight of Toki's shadow clones riding the raging currents toward the valley's center. Her voice trembled in realization:

"Look! It's them! Those are shadow clones!"

At the valley's center, Toki's clones stood tall on elevated platforms, grinning with triumph.

"This," one of them declared with a smirk, "is how wars are truly fought."

And then they activated their next move:

"Lightning Style: Thunderous Wrath!"

---

Meanwhile, as Toki unleashed chaos on the battlefield, another war front was intensifying.

In the Land of Hot Springs, stationed forces from the Village Hidden in the Clouds (Kumogakure) finally launched an all-out attack.

For months, Kumogakure had endured relentless guerrilla attacks. Konoha's ninjas had exploited every trick—ambushes, traps, hit-and-run tactics—leaving the Cloud forces in a perpetual state of frustration. The attacks were so relentless that Troy, Kumogakure's field commander, had been driven to despair.

However, recent intelligence brought a glimmer of hope: Uchiha Toki, the bane of Kumogakure's existence, had supposedly left the battlefield. Confident that Konoha's reinforcements couldn't possibly replicate Toki's devastating efficiency, Troy decided to press forward with a massive assault.

Their forces—around 2,500 strong—marched in disciplined formations, brimming with confidence in their superiority. This time, they believed they could overwhelm Konoha's defenses and secure a decisive victory.

But Konoha was ready.

Stationed atop a hill, the Uchiha clan and their allies had prepared an elaborate defensive strategy. As Kumogakure's forces advanced, they were met with a cacophony of explosions—detonating tags rigged in traps by Konoha's Hunter Squad.

Screams and chaos erupted among the advancing Cloud ninjas as the traps claimed over 200 casualties.

Troy's face darkened as he barked orders to push through the traps, his frustration mounting. Despite his efforts, the Uchiha-led defense proved formidable.

---

Atop the hill, Uchiha Yatsushiro stood at the forefront of Konoha's trenches. A seasoned Jonin and once loyal to Uchiha Fugaku's ideals, Yatsushiro now found himself questioning the integrity of Konoha's leadership. The timely attack by Kumogakure only confirmed his suspicions—there were traitors within Konoha leaking critical information to the enemy.

But there was no time to dwell on betrayal. With calm determination, Yatsushiro issued his command:

"Prepare the Wind and Fire units! Follow the plan!"

At his signal, dozens of Konoha ninjas stepped forward, forming seals in perfect synchronization.

"Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!"

"Wind Style: Gale Palm!"

The combined Wind and Fire ninjutsu created a massive inferno, a blazing sea of flames that swept down the hillside like an unstoppable tide.

Kumogakure's forces scrambled to respond, erecting Earth Style: Earth Walls in a desperate bid to block the inferno. While some managed to shield themselves, many others were caught in the blaze, their screams echoing across the battlefield.

Troy clenched his fists, his frustration boiling over. The uphill battle was taking a heavier toll than anticipated. The traps, the coordinated elemental attacks—Konoha had planned for everything.

His gaze turned to the young kunoichi standing confidently at his side. Nii Yugito, the Jinchuriki of the Two-Tails, stood with an air of pride and calm assurance.

Troy's voice was filled with desperation as he turned to her.

"Yugito... it's your turn. Show them the power of a Jinchuriki."

A confident smirk spread across Yugito's face. She stepped forward, her eyes gleaming with the feral glow of her tailed beast's power.

"Hmph! Finally, my time to shine!"
