Reborn with Infinity Money System, I was Worshipped by All Universes!

Chapter147-Frostfire

"Thankfully, I'm no longer an alchemist. Being a mixologist, a class without much conflict, really suits me better."

Alan squinted his eyes, feeling more convinced than ever that his decision to fully dedicate himself to mixology was the right one.

Otherwise, Velen's sudden whims were not something an ordinary person could handle.

As far as he knew, Frostfire contained both extreme cold and extreme heat, making it the supreme dream of all alchemists.

In the entire Titan Galaxy, no alchemist had ever been able to obtain it.

If Ironback Centipede truly absorbed Frostfire, he would become the first being in Titan Galaxy to wield it.

Not long after.

Velen booked a luxurious suite and led Ironback Centipede and Alan inside.

"Ironback Centipede really respects Velen to the core. Velen tells him to become the greatest alchemist, and he actually accepts it without resistance."

Inside the room, Alan watched as Ironback Centipede began the process of merging with Frostfire, his expression complicated.

Ironback Centipede was a Spellbeast.

Having a Spellbeast become an alchemist—and not just any alchemist, but the very best—was outright absurd.

As Alan watched, the fusion process did not last long.

Once Ironback Centipede had fully absorbed the cold energy, he slowly opened his eyes.

A peculiar aura, a mixture of icy frost and blazing heat, suddenly burst forth from him, giving Alan an incredibly strange feeling.

Before Alan could fully process it, he saw Ironback Centipede tightly clutching his Level 9 Forge, his face filled with regret and sorrow.

Immediately, Alan tried to comfort him,

"Iron Cub, don't do anything rash!"

Ironback Centipede turned to glance at him, then shook his head.

"Who's being rash? I just feel bad for my Level 9 Forge, which I've only had for a short while."

"If I had known I was going to become an alchemist, I would have taken better care of it. But now, there are already some battle scars on it, and that hurts me deeply!"

Hearing this, Alan was about to say something more reassuring when suddenly, a knock came from the door.

To their surprise, Velen had returned after already leaving earlier.

"Oh, right. I forgot to mention something."

"Since you're going to be the greatest alchemist in the Lower Plane Universe, I obviously need to provide you with proper support. How could you possibly manage without a superior forge?"

"This Super Dragon Flame Forge is for you. As for your Level 9 Forge, keep it. Just use it as a weapon like before!"

As he spoke, Velen pulled out a Super Dragon Flame Forge from his storage bag and placed it before Ironback Centipede.

With a deep, resonant hum, an intense heat wave surged outward from the forge, spreading across the entire room.

Feeling the overwhelming heat, Ironback Centipede's eyes immediately lit up.

For an alchemist, having a great forge was crucial!

Even though Ironback Centipede had never formally studied alchemy, he still knew this basic principle.

Now, he not only had Frostfire but also a top-tier forge—his confidence soared to unprecedented levels!

After all, Velen had already solved the hardest parts for him!

Alan, on the other hand, stood stunned, mouth agape.

As a former alchemist, he fully understood the importance of a Supreme Forge to an alchemist.

Now, Ironback Centipede had both Frostfire and a Supreme Forge.

Alan couldn't even begin to imagine how terrifying he would be once he fully embraced alchemy!

"Mentor, it's a good thing you've ascended. Otherwise, if you saw a Spellbeast become the greatest alchemist, you probably wouldn't be able to handle it."

Alan sighed.

He knew Pamelamentor well—he was extremely obsessed with alchemy. Otherwise, he wouldn't have become one of the greatest figures in the field.

Meanwhile, Ironback Centipede was now practically glued to the Supreme Forge, unable to pull himself away.

His previously beloved Level 9 Forge had already been kicked aside halfway through his rush to embrace the Supreme Forge.

His face showed none of the previous heartbreak—not even a shred of emotion for his old forge.

Compared to a Supreme Forge, a Level 9 Forge was nothing more than a joke.

"Iron Cub flipped sides way too fast..."

Alan looked at the Level 9 Forge, now discarded on the ground, feeling a strange sense of pity.

It was one of the rarest forges in Titan Galaxy, and yet, it had been reduced to a mere combat tool—now even cast aside like garbage.

How tragic!

Time flew by.

Early the next morning, Velen once again checked the system's refreshed special item—Frostfire!

Again?!

Velen was momentarily stunned.

Was this a system glitch, or was his luck simply otherworldly?

After double-checking, he confirmed that it really was another Frostfire.

At that moment, Alan's image surfaced in Velen's mind.

Alan was a mixologist now, but he had been an alchemist before.

Giving this to him wasn't a bad idea.

But then, Velen realized—that wasn't really flaunting wealth.

So, he temporarily set the idea aside.

"Since Ironback Centipede already has one Frostfire, why not give him another? Holding two Frostfires—now that would be worthy of my tycoon mount!"

The thought delighted Velen.

"Genius idea!"

Not long after.

Velen once again entered Ironback Centipede's room.

Seeing Velen looking at him with that familiar expression, Ironback Centipede's mouth twitched.

Whenever Velen stared at someone like this, it never meant anything good.

"It's early morning... does my master have a new scheme for me already?"

"I've already been 'taken care of'... shouldn't he switch targets and torment Alan for a change?"

"Iron Cub, why are you so nervous? I'm here to give you a gift."

Velen grinned at Ironback Centipede.

Ironback Centipede's heart dropped.

"Damn it. Your 'gifts'... can I refuse them?"

"Relax. I'm just giving you another Frostfire to help you grow faster."

Seeing Ironback Centipede tense up, Velen smiled reassuringly.

"Another Frostfire?!"

Alan, who had just been feeling relieved, suddenly froze, eyes widening in disbelief.

This was Frostfire—a once-in-a-lifetime rarity.

Yet, in Velen's hands, it felt like a mass-produced commodity.

Alan's heart clenched as his face filled with grief.

This had been his dream for years.

Now, two Frostfires were being wasted right in front of him, and he could only watch.

It was agonizing!

Even though Alan was now a mixologist, Frostfire would have immense benefits for his craft.

A mixologist still needed fire and ice for their creations!

Yet, Velen had given both Frostfires to Ironback Centipede instead.

Alan had never witnessed such unrestrained extravagance!

His mentor had spent centuries searching for Frostfire, only to fail.

If his mentor knew what Velen had done, he would probably die from rage!

A few minutes later.

Now possessing two Frostfires, Ironback Centipede flew through space on the Arcane Carpet, carrying Velen and Alan toward Celestia Academy.

On the way, Alan rubbed his hands and curiously asked,

"Iron Cub, now that you have two Frostfires, what's your plan?"

Ironback Centipede nodded seriously.

"I've thought it through. Left-hand Frostfire—for cooking Master's favorite barbecue. Right-hand Frostfire—for alchemy."

Alan: "..."

Ironback Centipede had clearly spent too much time around Velen.
