Chapter 16: Chapter 16: The Shikotsumyaku and Tenseigan
Now, fully empowered with the Rinnegan and the Wood Release, Tetsuya sought even greater abilities. His desire for supreme control over life, death, and all things in between led him to another ancient power—the Shikotsumyaku and the Tenseigan.
The Shikotsumyaku, the ability to manipulate and control his own bones, was a unique kekkei genkai of the Kaguya clan. Tetsuya sought out the remnants of this clan, tracking down rogue survivors in the land of the Kaguya. Through strategic manipulation, he convinced the remaining Kaguya clan members to share their knowledge of their deadly ability. By using the Rinnegan to integrate this power into his own body, Tetsuya was able to control his bones with precision, creating weapons and barriers from his own skeletal structure. He could even regenerate bones at will, making him virtually impervious to physical damage.
As Tetsuya's quest for power continued, he also uncovered the secret to obtaining the Tenseigan, the dojutsu of the Otsutsuki clan that granted control over the truth-seeking orbs and the Tenseigan chakra mode. The path to unlocking the Tenseigan required him to find the remains of Kaguya Otsutsuki's legacy, which lay hidden in an ancient temple on the borders of the Land of Lightning. By combining his powerful Rinnegan with the chakra of the Otsutsuki bloodline, Tetsuya was able to awaken the Tenseigan, an even greater manifestation of ocular power that rivaled the abilities of the Sage of Six Paths himself.
Now with the Tenseigan, the Rinnegan, and the Shikotsumyaku, Tetsuya was no longer just a force of nature—he had become a true god in the shinobi world.
