Chapter 30: Chapter 27: Transformation and the Path to Slytherin

Kai's head throbbed as he absorbed the words of Morgana le Fay. The world around him was heavy with magic, a foreign yet intriguing force he needed to understand if he was to regain control over the powers that had once made him unstoppable. He had no choice but to adapt. He had been ripped from his world, torn apart by Darkseid's might, and cast into a world of magic where nothing made sense. But now, he had a renewed sense of purpose: to master magic, to rebuild himself, and, most importantly, to return to his old world stronger than ever.

But something strange began to happen as Morgana guided him through the process of understanding his new environment. As he sat, focused on the ancient tome, he felt a subtle but unmistakable change in his body—a shifting, a return to something long buried deep within him. His senses heightened as his elven heritage began to reassert itself, and before he could fully comprehend what was happening, his body began to glow faintly with a golden light.

His bones elongated, his muscles refined, and his skin took on a smooth, slightly luminescent quality. His ears tapered to sharp points, and his once-human form now bore a resemblance to the ancient elves of Asgard, his elven heritage awakened by the magic of the wizarding world and the influence of Morgana's arcane powers. The changes were subtle at first, but they became undeniable as his body began to shimmer with the power of ages past.

Kai's reflection in a nearby mirror revealed the transformation fully. His hair, once dark and wild, now had a silver sheen, as though the years had passed in an instant. His eyes, once burning with the rage of the Red Lantern Ring, now glowed with an ethereal light, sharper and more focused. His features were refined, elven, regal, but marked with an air of mystery, as though the very essence of magic itself flowed through him.

"You have been marked by this world's magic," Morgana observed. "The magic here has intertwined with the very fibers of your being, awakening your ancient blood. You are no longer just a child of the Red Lantern Ring or a warrior from another universe. You are something more now."

Kai didn't speak, feeling the power flow through him, his once-stormy aura now tempered by an ancient grace. The Red Lantern Ring still clung to his finger, but the magic of the wizarding world mingled with it in ways that were both unsettling and promising.

"Where am I meant to go now?" Kai asked, his voice deeper, more resonant with the transformation.

"There is a place in this world where you can learn more—hone your magical skills and perhaps discover more about your true potential. A school of sorts. It is called Hogwarts. It is there that your path truly begins."
