When the car started, Du Wensen pressed his body tightly against the back seat, his feet firmly planted, and remained silent.
Jaylen glanced at him and noticed his tense demeanor. Smiling nervously, he tried to reassure him, "Hey, you don't have to be so nervous. As long as we get you out, everything will be fine."
Du Wensen ignored him, his gaze fixed outside the window. Suddenly, when a familiar Tamilar vehicle appeared in his sight, he grinned and exclaimed, "Here it comes! I love this show!"
"What?" Jaylen asked, confused.
Before he could process the statement, a speeding truck rammed into their car.
**Boom!**
The car rolled over multiple times before coming to a stop, more than ten meters away. Jaylen and Art were knocked unconscious instantly.
Du Wensen, however, emerged unscathed. He kicked open the car door, stepped out calmly, and shook his head. Raising his middle finger at the man in black holding an RPG launcher across the street, he taunted, "Shoot me!"
The man in black smirked and pressed the button. A rocket shot out, trailing white smoke.
At a speed of 100 to 300 meters per second, the rocket was set to reach Du Wensen in less than a second, but Du Wensen moved faster.
In a flash, he sprinted past the rocket, closing the distance between him and the man in black in a heartbeat. The rocket exploded behind him, illuminating the sky with flames as Du Wensen continued charging forward without hesitation.
The man in black, momentarily stunned by the explosion and Du Wensen's speed, dropped the RPG and turned to flee. But before he could take a single step, Du Wensen was already upon him.
Grabbing the man by the neck, Du Wensen slammed him into the ground with such force that he slid two or three meters before stopping. The friction tore the back of the man's head raw, leaving blood dripping down his scalp.
"Don't kill me!" the man pleaded in panic. "I can tell you who sent me. I can take you to them!"
Du Wensen sighed in disappointment. "I hate it when people ruin the fun by telling me the answer." With a swift motion, he snapped the man's neck.
Searching the body yielded no significant clues—only a leather bag containing a few thousand dollars and no identification. Taking a hundred-dollar bill, Du Wensen tossed the bag aside.
At a nearby store, he grabbed a pack of cigarettes and a lighter from the counter, leaving the bill on the counter. He lit a cigarette, humming a tune as he walked away.
The Asian shopkeeper rushed after him. "Wait! Sir, your change!"
"Sorry, you've got the wrong person," Du Wensen replied without looking back.
"It's your money! You just bought cigarettes and a lighter. I couldn't be mistaken!" the woman insisted.
Feigning surprise, Du Wensen pointed behind her. "Look, someone's stealing from your store!"
When the shopkeeper turned to look, Du Wensen vanished into the crowd.

Returning to the prison after half an hour, Du Wensen found the alarm bells silent, as if the authorities had given up on pursuing him. He knocked on the iron door and shouted, "Open up! I'm back!"
The warden, accompanied by several guards, appeared and escorted him back to his cell.
To Du Wensen's surprise, no one interrogated him about his escape, nor was he punished. It felt as if he had simply gone for a stroll.
Frustrated by their indifference, Du Wensen re-entered his cell. His cellmate, Kevin, recoiled in terror. "Don't kill me! Please, I was wrong! Just let me go!"
Annoyed, Du Wensen turned to the guards. "Get this guy out of here and bring me Michael Scofield!"
Without hesitation, the guards removed Kevin and brought Michael in.
When Michael saw Du Wensen, his expression turned grim. "Why is this lunatic out of solitary confinement?"
"Hi, Michael!" Du Wensen greeted cheerfully. "Tell me about your escape plan."
Michael's face turned pale.
Meanwhile, outside, a guard expressed concern. "Captain, didn't you hear them discussing an escape plan?"
The captain replied sternly, "I heard everything, Brenton, but remember this—you must forget everything that man said. It's for your own safety."
---
Inside the cell, Michael glared at Du Wensen. "You just revealed my plan to the whole prison! Why would you do that? Now they'll watch us like hawks!"
"Relax," Du Wensen said lazily. "I just got back from outside, and I was so happy to see you that I couldn't help myself. Maybe they didn't hear me."
"They're not deaf! Everyone heard you! You did it on purpose!"
Du Wensen shrugged. "Okay, maybe I did. Don't you think it makes things more exciting and challenging?"
"You're insane. I won't work with you," Michael snapped.
Du Wensen's tone turned serious. "I'm sorry."
"What?" Michael asked, startled.
"I'm sorry. I can't always control myself when I'm excited. But I'm normal. More normal than anyone else. If I weren't, would they have locked me up here?"
Michael hesitated. "But you could escape anytime. Why stay and plan with me? You killed five people in one move. The entire prison thinks you're a madman."
"I'm just not fully in control yet," Du Wensen explained sincerely. "But if you don't believe me, I'll get a professional psychologist to prove I'm normal."
Michael, slightly convinced by Du Wensen's rational tone, reluctantly agreed. "Fine. If a psychologist proves you're normal, I'll cooperate with you."
Du Wensen grinned, baring his teeth in what he thought was a friendly smile, but it sent shivers down Michael's spine.
For the rest of the day, Du Wensen behaved unnervingly normal, leaving Michael to wonder if he had made the right decision.
