But under certain conditions, it is still quite smart.
But why does this guy think he can escape?
I didn't spread my wings.
This cave is a bit narrow for me now, and the wings with a wingspan of 72 meters cannot be spread at all.
But it doesn't matter.
I chased after him directly.
The two-headed giant ran and looked behind.
Seeing that the black dragon was chasing after him, he immediately threw out the giant axe and the mace.
But I didn't care.
{Second Tier: Earth Magic: Slowness!}
Suddenly, the two-headed giant in front of me felt his footsteps getting heavier and heavier.
"What?"
The moment it was dazed, I had already pounced on it.
The two-headed giant still wanted to resist, even though its size was half smaller than mine.
But I just waved my dragon claw lightly.
Immediately, there were several huge wounds on the back of the two-headed giant.
Blood was flowing!
"Dragon, I want to eat you!" The two heads of the two-headed giant bit me at the same time.
I didn't dodge or evade, and bumped into it head-on.
The two dragon horns on my head immediately pierced into the opponent's chest.
I grabbed one of the two-headed giant's arms with my dragon claw and swung the other dragon claw vigorously.
A huge arm was chopped off.
"I need to know the details! You should know what I mean!"
I stopped attacking and looked at the two-headed giant lying on the ground.
"Of course, if you don't tell me, then I will unscrew a head and taste the giant's brain first!"
I knew that the two heads of the two-headed giant had independent thoughts.
Moreover, these two two-headed giants seem to be different from my memory.
Both big heads of the two-headed giant felt a little trembling.
They had eaten the brains of many kinds of creatures, but they still felt scared when their own brains were going to be eaten.
I directly picked up the giant's arm on the ground and wanted to eat it.
But looking at the thick layer of stinky silt on it, I stopped thinking.
"Pear, replenish your body!" Looking at Pear behind me, I threw this arm in front of Pear.
Pear jumped up happily.
Holding the huge giant arm, he gnawed at it.
This guy almost killed him just now, and he wants his revenge!
The two-headed giant watched his arm being eaten and said nothing.
One of the two heads turned and said: "We are from the Giant Plain in the north, and we were ordered to come here to check why the blue-footed dragon snake is unwilling to do that..."
"Debrief!"
"Yes, the reason for the debriefing!"
"You say the blue-footed dragon snake is from your place? You also have a tribe of giants?" I stared at the other party.
"Yes!"
"But not one giant tribe, but several!"
My heart moved when I heard this.
All giants are the true dragon's sworn enemies.
These true giants are not easy to deal with, and one must be cautious when encountering them.
This is because they are different from ordinary real dragons.
Most giants live in groups, which means that if you mess with one giant, you've effectively messed with an entire tribe.
From the explanation given by the two-headed giant, I finally understood why this guy came here.
To the north of Silminster Forest lies the Field of Giants.
On either side of the Giant Plains are the Troll Mountains and the Giants Run Mountains, and this region is ruled by some true giants.
According to the two-headed giant, it should be a tribe of hill giants. The blue-footed dragon snake was sent here by the hill giant tribe to guard the entrance to this underground world.
Their goal is to one day enter the underground world to plunder resources.
I looked at the two-headed giant like it was an idiot.
Why? While others from the underground world are devising ways to invade the surface world and rob resources, these hill giants want the opposite.
Good thing it turned around.
"We're done talking. You should let us go!" the two-headed half-giant said, staring at me.
"You probably still have something to say!"
"Others, we really don't know!" Both heads shook in unison.
I looked at this creature, wondering if its sheer stupidity was the reason it knew so little.
"But I never said I would let you go!"
I extended my dragon claws, and before the two-headed giant could react, they plunged into its chest, crushing its enormous, steaming heart.
The two-headed giant stared at me with four wide-open eyes.
"You... will definitely die!" one of the heads cursed in the Giant tongue before succumbing.
I ignored its words. After struggling for several seconds, the two-headed half-giant lost its breath of life.
I had no intention of subduing it. Giants like this cannot be enslaved.
From the first moment I saw the two-headed giant, I knew things wouldn't be simple. These creatures are solitary by nature and rarely follow orders from others.
Yet I couldn't fathom how the hill giants—ranked lowest among the nine true giants—managed to rule over such vast lands.
The nine true giants are hill giants, stone giants, frost giants, fire giants, cloud giants, storm giants, mountain giants, fog giants, and the children of Titans.
However, I ruled out the storm giants. Truly powerful storm giants live in isolated places, such as castles above the clouds or fortresses in the deep sea.
These are areas ordinary creatures cannot reach. Storm giants are born with the power of thunder and storms, their existence tied to the skies.
I could scarcely imagine what it would be like to see a storm giant, hundreds of meters tall, soaring through the air. Such a being, weighing millions of tons, could crush me into meatloaf with a single step.
If it were a storm giant, I'd flee immediately. As for the other giants, I might stand a chance.
The blue-footed dragon snake was created by the giants with the blood of true dragons. Yet, because of their dragon blood, they possess great pride and rarely obey orders, even from powerful giants.
Either the two-headed giant was lying, or its limited intellect meant it didn't understand enough.
I felt a headache coming on.
The issues in the underground world remained unresolved, yet problems in the surface world loomed large.
The worst part? I had no dependents on the surface that I could rely on. If I didn't want to expose the existence of the Dragon Nest forces, my army was pitifully small.
Just a stupid bear—Pear—who almost got defeated by the two-headed half-giant earlier.
Equivalent to a commander-in-chief.
'Pear is weak, but better than nothing,' I thought.
Forget it. When the time comes, I'll deal with it. For now, I need to resolve the underground world's issues and free my hands to handle the giants later.
If all else fails, I'll transfer Arthas to the surface.
He focuses solely on killing, and I focus on transforming. Together, we could raise an undead army in no time.
Those giants would never stand a chance.
"Pear, don't resist!"
Looking at the Earth Cracker Pear licking its wounds, I had an idea.
I directly linked a soul chain to the Earth Splitting Bear and shared a bit of my blood.
Pear looked at me, confused, as though sensing something new in its mind.
"Pear, guard this place. If enemies like that come again, don't fight—just flee!"
After instructing Pear, I took Winnie and the two-headed giant's corpse back to the underground world.
…
In the underground world of Menzoberranzan, Mistress Elise gathered her closest allies to discuss Charles City.
"Mother, Charles City's strength is formidable. Without the Dragon Lord, we cannot win!" a drow spoke with a grim expression.
"And the priestess of Charles City is truly blessed by Goddess Lolth!"
Many echoed this sentiment. Elise, however, remained calm. She stroked her newly applied nail polish and spoke lightly.
"I don't need to remind you of the Black Dragon's temper. He doesn't tolerate trash and wouldn't mind extra meals—whether us or the Death Knight!"
Elise's cold tone silenced the room.
Elise looked at the drow present. In fact, the black dragon didn't mean to let them attack Charles City at all.
Instead, it wanted them to inquire about information.
But Elise didn't think so herself.
She wanted to prove herself this time and completely gain the trust of the black dragon.
This time, she would go all out and use all her strength.
It was not her goal to capture Charles City because she knew it was impossible.
All she wanted was the attitude of the black dragon seeing her. And these drow present were her stepping stones.
"Mistress, I actually have an idea!" a drow suddenly whispered.
"What do you think? Let's hear it!" Elise looked at her clansman with interest.
"We can transfer the main tribe to Charles City in batches for the purpose of detecting information, and then ask for the protection of their priestess, combining the power of other cities to kill this black dragon!
"We will be free at that time!" The young, outstanding daughter spoke more and more enthusiastically, and Elise looked at her with a smile.
She stood up and walked slowly to the young female drow.
"You're right!"
The young female drow smiled and was about to say something.
A cold light flashed in Elise's eyes as her hands moved, and the head of the female drow flew up.
Thud…
The young and beautiful female drow still had an excited smile on her face.
But she was already dead.
"Mistress!"
The other drow were taken aback.
They looked at Elise in shock. After all, it was Elise who killed her own people on this occasion.
Still, she used such cruel methods and without being provoked.
"I said we're serious about taking Charles City!"
Elise grabbed the head of the female drow and spoke softly while looking at the other drow present.
She also licked a drop of blood from her face. This made her already delicate lips redder.
"Clear... clear... clear!"
"Yes, yes, we must take Charles City!"
"We all support the decision of the mistress!"
The drow elves present echoed.
Although they had seen their mistress kill the enemy before, this was the first time they had seen such a terrifying display in the meeting room.
"Very good!"
Elise licked the blood from the corner of her mouth again, smiling even more.
---
At this time in the Dragon Palace.
I opened my scarlet eyes. This Elise is a bit out of the ordinary!
I had been observing Elise's perspective with the chain of soul just now.
Watching her discuss with the tribe and then kill the drow.
Originally, I thought Elise might agree with that drow's suggestion.
Now it seems that I was wrong.
This girl must have a deeper plot.
But that's okay, no matter what that woman thinks.
I have absolute power!
And the soul chain can monitor her situation at all times. If it doesn't work, I can always add her to my meals.
I will let her know the result of ants provoking a dragon!
Thinking of this, I switched to another perspective, the perspective of the female drow elf Maya.
Since I had the soul chain, this has also been my way of passing time as I studied spells since leaving the dragon nest.
It's like watching short videos scrolling in the previous life.
What is this round and white thing?
In the next second, I saw Shea's naked figure.
That fair skin, perfect figure with curves and contours, and her slender thick thighs.
Especially under the hazy cover of water mist, it looked even more charming.
At this time, the bunny girl said happily, "Maya, I didn't expect there to be hot springs in the underground world!"
"Of course, and the hot springs here should be much better than those in the above-ground world. There are many benefits to the body, which we usually don't enjoy!" Maya's voice came out.
It turned out they were taking a hot spring bath...
'Damn it, you didn't ask me to come with you!'
I watched carefully for more than ten minutes, and after confirming the drow had no ill intentions, I switched to another perspective with satisfaction.
I wondered if I should let Shea stay and study the origin of life with me next time!
I thought for a while and continued to study earth magic. This time, I aimed at two high-tier earth spells.
I also looked at Pear by the way.
Pear has always maintained the same habits.
Since last time, besides hunting, Pear has spent most of his time digging tunnels with earth magic.
It seems he wants to create a safe environment for himself.
Haha!
I discovered this guy has actually been enlightened, and I guessed Pear's purpose.
He seems to be planning to build an underground maze for himself.
And it's the kind of maze designed only to deal with giants—the height and size only allowing himself to pass through...
Now, let's see the so-called Charles City's strength.
I intend to attack Charles City myself two days before the feast cools down.
Of course, it would be even better if Elise could give me some surprises!

Underdark
In the grand hall of a palace woven with endless, gleaming white spider webs, a lone drow priestess knelt in reverence. Her head was bowed, hands clasped tightly in prayer, her rich purple hair cascading over her shoulders like silk.
She was draped in a striking off-the-shoulder robe of deep black, hugging her flawless figure and highlighting every elegant curve with understated allure. A delicate choker adorned her neck, crafted from dark metal and set with a single crimson gemstone, amplifying her air of authority and devotion to Lolth. Just below her collarbone, a crimson spider was embroidered upon the fabric, a vivid symbol of her dedication.
Etched between her brows was the intricate, purple tattoo of a spider, lending her an aura of mystery and unyielding strength. The subtle glow of the mark seemed to pulse with life, marking her as one of Lolth's chosen.
Behind her, a drow warrior emerged silently from the shadows, her leather armor taut over lithe, muscular limbs. She stood watchful and poised, her gaze steady as she waited for her priestess to rise, ready to serve without question.
"High Priest Nadia, there seems to be a new change in Death Canyon!"
The drow priestess kneeling in prayer opened her eyes.
She opened her purple eyes and looked at the black mirror in the hands of a female drow warrior.
The screen showed the scene outside Death Canyon, and Nadia noticed that the black fog above Death Canyon seemed to be much thinner.
"Can the giant bat fly past the places not covered by the black mist?" Nadia asked, frowning beautifully.
"My subordinates have already tried. The giant bat is still covered in fog the moment it passes by!"
"In historical legends, death knights don't have such powerful abilities!" Nadia was puzzled.
She had personally fought against that death knight before.
She shattered the death knight's body twice.
But that guy was reborn in the black mist, and his power was unaffected.
On the contrary, all the more than 100 elite drow warriors she brought with her were killed by the death knight and were now part of his army.
This made Nadia realize how difficult this guy truly was. So she gave up the idea of dealing with Menzoberranzan.
"Pay close attention to the situation over there! Don't act rashly for now!" Nadia issued an order.
"Obey!" The drow warrior quickly left the palace.
"Nadia, why don't you let me help you? As long as the two of us work together, we will definitely be able to defeat that death knight!"
A petite-looking female drow stepped out from the darkness.
She looked like a human of thirteen or fourteen years old, resembling an innocent loli with big breasts.
She hugged Nadia slowly from behind, her hands beginning to wander upward dishonestly.
Priestess Nadia grabbed the other's hands and said solemnly:
"Brigitte, don't force me!"
"Haha!" Brigitte laughed, sniffing Nadia again.
"Nadia, it's all because you are so charming. I really like this mature and alluring scent!"
The priestess sighed in frustration, looking at Brigitte. If this girl wasn't a real servant of Goddess Lolth and important to her plans, she would have been dealt with long ago.
Especially since the other's behavior was too unbearable for her.
"You can transform into something better than me!" Nadia suggested.
"You also said it's an illusion—it's fake. I don't care about it!" Brigitte seemed a little disappointed at Nadia rejecting her intimacy.
