He was now convinced that the Architect would not simply sit back and watch as Zion's forces gained the upper hand. It was only a matter of time before he countered with his moves—and Elijah suspected the Architect would target their very source of strength: the hovercrafts, the fleet, and the link Zion had created to monitor Machine activity.

But before he could respond to the Architect's warning, he needed to reinforce Zion's defenses even further and complete the work on integrating the fleet's newest upgrades. The Council was beginning to trust Elijah's judgment implicitly, but he knew their faith came with high expectations—and the stakes had never been higher.

Elijah, who was monitoring the mission from Zion, watched the real-time feed, realizing that the Architect had planted a virus within Zion's new network systems—a Trojan code designed to locate and compromise any of their vessels once they entered the Matrix. He immediately set to work countering the attack, initiating the Matrix Intrusion Defense protocols he had installed. Using his System Panel, he began isolating the infected code and devising a firewall strong enough to contain it.

Meanwhile, The Hammer was engaged in a full-scale battle, their EMP firing at regular intervals, barely keeping the Sentinels at bay. Neo and Morpheus, who had joined the mission, fought valiantly, using their knowledge of the Matrix to anticipate and counter the Sentinels' attacks. But Elijah knew it would only be a matter of time before the Machines found a weakness.

As he worked to isolate the virus, a System Notification popped up, indicating a new skill development in Code Purification—the ability to detect, isolate, and expunge malicious code from a compromised system. Activating it, Elijah launched a counter-hack, isolating the Trojan code and purging it from The Hammer's systems. With a final EMP pulse, The Hammer destroyed the last of the Sentinels and safely disengaged from the Matrix.

"He's an architect, a designer of worlds and minds. His ego will compel him to investigate a challenge he didn't build himself," Elijah replied. "And if he sees me as a threat, he'll come to confront it."

Eve looked thoughtful, nodding slowly. "Then we'll have to be ready."

To ensure their success, Elijah began training with Neo and Morpheus, refining his own combat skills and mastering High-Level Combat Synchronization, a technique that allowed him to fight in tandem with Neo, synchronizing their moves to create a seamless battle flow.
